I strongly advise avoiding this place. The food was ok, small in size, but drastically overpriced compared to other options on the island. This is the first time I've felt taken advantage of in my own country when buying food. It seems they cater to tourists who might think these inflated prices are standard, but they are not.
The portion sizes were small, and the quality did not justify the high prices. The seating environment was also subpar for the cost. When I questioned the prices, they changed, and there were no visible set prices, which should have been a red flag. Trusting my fellow countrymen, I did not expect such exorbitant prices in Charlotteville.
For example, a shrimp lunch with only six shrimp and a chicken lunch with a tiny piece of chicken, along with one beer, one coke, and a small pack of cashew nuts, came to nearly $300TT. Specifically, it was $160TT for the shrimp and $100TT for the chicken, all consumed in an unbearably hot area with barely working ceiling fans.
This experience ruined my entire week. I've never felt so taken advantage of in Tobago after dining out.
