We had a very good dinner in this lovely restaurant! The host is a friendly and kind man that serves the food with love. There isn’t really a card to chose your food from. It’s more 1 menu that includes a soup, main dish, dessert and tea. After dinner he played us some songs on the gituar! We enjoyed this evening so much!

We had a wonderful dinner here whilst in Kandy. It was a recommendation from a friend who went whilst on honeymoon 4 years ago. He said it was his favourite meal in Sri Lanka - it didn't disappoint! There were 14 delicious curries with varied flavours and ingredients as well as starter and dessert. The setting is simple but clean and the hospitality is incredible. The owner is a lovely man who took the time to get to know us and talk about his family, he is a talented guitarist who serenaded our 5 month old - she loved it! His wife kindly entertained our baby for almost 45 minutes allowing us some time to eat. Having the England cricket on in the background was also a bonus! I very much recommend this family run business with great food and friendly atmosphere.

Such a fun night - the food was authentic, generous and made with love. We felt we'd been invited to a family dinner with the crazy, loveable, funny uncle that everyone loves to spend time with. We were there with two other groups- as soon as Faiz got his guitar out, the room little up and the night turned into a sing-along. A night we won't forget, and sure to be a highlight of our 3 week visit to this wonderful country.

I had a very pleasant stay at Sharon Inn. The hotel is well located, with panoramic views over Kandy from the rooftop. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and professional. The traditional Sri Lankan dinner was excellent - authentic, and well prepared. A truly peaceful and well managed place that offers great value for money.

This was the worst night we've had in Sri Lanka. I’m traveling with a friend and we usually adapt very well to different situations, but this was absolutely unsustainable. The *bathroom was extremely dirty*, especially the tiles, and there was a *very dirty towel on the floor* for stepping out of the shower. The *room had cockroaches and ants*, the *air conditioning didn’t work*, and the *furniture was in very poor condition*. The *bedsheets, towels, and everything in general felt unclean*. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place. The level of cleanliness was unacceptable.

*Absolutely awful experience.* This was by far the worst place I’ve stayed. The floor was crawling with ants, the shower had disgusting worm-like creatures, and cockroaches were found on the beds — yes, *in* the beds. The towels were dirty and smelled bad, as if they hadn’t been washed in weeks. The chairs on the balcony were broken, and the entire place felt neglected and filthy. It was uncomfortable, unhygienic, and honestly, a complete disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

We were spontaneously looking for some Sri Lankan food and came across this place offering a Sri Lankan buffet – we thought, why not? From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The owner is such a kind and genuine person – he even sat with us and shared stories about Sri Lanka. The buffet was hands down the best we’ve had in the country so far – incredibly flavorful and authentic. After dinner, he played the guitar and sang for us – it turned into one of the most beautiful evenings we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Truly unforgettable! If you plan to go, make sure to give him a quick call to reserve a spot – that way, he can plan how much to cook. Totally worth it!

Had such a lovely meal here! The food was so authentic and felt home made, the staff were so kind and welcoming, feels like you are being welcomed into their home. The range of dishes was amazing, would definitely recommend if you’re looking to try lots of different Sri Lankan flavours! The owner is the best as well, and played his guitar at the end!
