This was for the start of a solo trip to travel around Uzbekistan. From the late night pick up service from the airport, to the kind and helpful staff, my time at the Sharq Hotel was a wonderfully calm start to my journey. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Lots of places are accessible by foot and it is right beside one of the most central metro stations. My room was large, cool and comfortable. It was excellent value for money and very safe. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel and a lovely swimming pool in a garden. I cannot recommend it enough for the start of a journey to Uzbekistan. Especially the kind and wonderful staff team.

The hotel is a great trade off to visit the city, enjoy some time by the pool, and have reasonable price! It is managed by young staff, but very attentive to client needs. Rooms are not super new, but on the other hand are very spacious!

I am not a fan of this hotel. Service was lackluster. The credit card reader had long been out of order to I had to find a bank to exchange funds to pay the bill. The pool was closed with no notification or explanation. The breakfast times were moved with no notification or explanation -- just a shrug. Front desk staff could not tell us how to find the rail station. In short, the staff were indifferent and inept. Breakfast, when it was actually open, was fine and the one staff member very pleasant. The hotel is near a metro station and aircon works fine

PLUS: Excellent location, a few steps from the Kosmonavtlar metro station: perfect for visiting the city both by metro and on foot.|Large rooms and bathroom, very comfortable beds.|Very good breakfast. On the second day we had to leave at 5am and were given a lunch bag full of food.||MINUS: We had asked (and paid) for early check-in, coming from the airport after an overnight flight. However our rooms were not available and we had to wait more than 30 minutes. We were also told that the room had to be changed for the next night, forcing us to pack our luggage, even though there was no room change.|Not all the staff at the reception speak English.

The hotel definitely not worth the money. Closed to metro station but yandex taxi are so cheap that really you dont need it.Small room with the window the size o towel. Very simply breakfast. The staff : the man working at the restaurant is awfull, unfriendly . Face constantly twisted. Who hired him to work in tourism??? As we had a second reservation in this hotel a few days later , we asked if it is possible to leave one small backpack until we come back.. Yes it is. For 15 usd per day! Joke! We cancelled our second reservation and never back

I recently stayed at Sharq Hotel in Tashkent and it was top-notch all around. The folks at the front desk were super nice and helpful from the get-go. And shoutout to Xanif and his buddy in the restaurant—they were absolute gems, chatting with us in English and making our meals feel extra special. The housekeeping team kept our room spick and span without us even asking, which was awesome. And the rooms were just right for me, my partner, and our kid—nice and cozy. Plus, you can't beat the location. There's a supermarket practically next door, which came in handy more than once. For the price, you're getting a steal with Sharq Hotel. It's the whole package—great service, comfy rooms, and a prime spot in town. Definitely recommend it if you're headed to Tashkent!

Sharq hotel is an old school classic gomel. In a nice leafy boulevard area . There are genteel villas n embassies near by. Service is professional. Rooms r a bit old but comfortable. V easy to walk to metro and supermarket.

The main reason I chose this hotel is because of the proximity to the metro station. It's an advantage when you dont need to walk far to reach the metro station which can get you around Tashkent easily. I arrived past midnight and there were quite a number of people who arrived the same time as me from the railway station so check in process took quite some time to complete. I realized I was given a single bed on the ground floor and I asked if I could have a double bed and was moved to the upper floor with a double bed. Was grateful for the upgrade but then the other people on the second floor was noisy you could hear them shouting once in a while along the walkway, so the soundproofing is not very good. Room was decent, pretty big and so was the bathroom. There was an inviting pool which I didn't get the chance to use. The breakfast was pretty good as there were more items on the western side so it was quite intuitive what I was eating though I also spotted the kassa which I liked a lot. It was pretty okay to stay in this hotel, nothing much to complain about and quite worth the value. One of the more reasonably priced hotels you can find within walking distance to the metro.
