Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel

From the moment we entered the reception I knew we had made a good choice. The hotel is immaculate throughout this is due to the high standard of workmanship from all of the staff team. Rooms are very comfortable with high quality bed linen that seems to get changed daily whether or not required. Plenty of water in the room daily with a few bits in the mini bar. Restaurant food and service very good, plenty of choice to meet all needs and even has a children’s food station. Afternoon tea and the most delicious cakes are available in the lounge opposite the buffet restaurant it well worth a visit. Pool service equally as good with wonderful friendly staff from around the world, nothing was too much bother and there was plenty of free water available from the towel station. The only negatives we had were that due to changes recently you couldn’t have an alcoholic beverage while sitting at the swim up pool bar, soft drinks only which was a shame as it would have been nice when escaping the sun for a few minutes also we were there from the 5-12 September and there was no evening entertainment and the only bar they have is soulless with no music so really was boring although bar staff always cheerful. Taxis very cheap and plenty of entertainment elsewhere but such a financial missed opportunity for the Ritz Carlton. Word of warning if you have never been to Doha before, passport id is required in many pubs and restaurants due to the alcohol laws so remember to take it with you when venturing out also there is usually dress code for men, no sandals or open toe shoes in the evening and some places do prefer long trousers not ideal in 40 degree heat. If you book using Destination 2 or Love holidays beware that on their ad they advertised half board and go on to name all the restaurants in the hotel however in reality the half board is for the buffet restaurant only and you will be charged to visit the others. We would certainly use this hotel again it’s been a wonderful break

Great experiences staying in this stunning hotel for two weeks. This elegant and very peaceful resort created wonderful lasting memories. We were well looked after by whole team 'Who are truly the ❤️ of this hotel.' from the moment we arrived to the day we departed. We felt warmly welcomed by polite, friendly, professional, happy and helpful team. We were extremely happy with everything and with everyone during our entire stay. Everything was perfect. The Spa and Gym are really good too. I suppose: 'Time spend in gym or getting a massage is never wasted time.' Highly recommend this beautiful and safe destination for future guests. Must visit. Lastly, If I may please, I would like to mention and say Thank You So Much to you all, especially to: Yesser, Juma, Marouane, Matthew, Nisrine, Ms. Rokie, Hassan, Mohammed Arief, Abror, Anas, Kelvin, Yogesh, Sam, Shah Jalal........ for all your extra care and commitment. Wow |Amazing hotel, the grounds are very beautiful and clean. Feels like a resort. |Water provided every day which was needed as 43c was way too hot. ||Room is very nice and spacious |Breakfast very good |Dinner was also excellent however an ice cream option would be a very good addition||All the staff are amazing, |thank you shadhat for amazing room cleaning service. He is absolutely amazing at organising everything ||Thank you to Rafiq, Joshua and siraj all amazing friendly. These are just a few everyone is so good. |Doha is beautiful, taxis are very cheap.

Incredible hotel 🧡|Absolutely beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. All are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them.|Our room is absolutely amazing with a small view of the sea, we love it. The room decor is stunning.|The bed is the best we've ever slept in on vacay, so comfortable.|The housekeepers keep the room spotless and come back for a second time later in the day to leave dates/fruit on the pillow, leave your carpet slippers by the bed and to leave bottled water on your bedside table 😍 It's these little things that we think are beautiful. Thankyou housekeepers 🧡|The food is great, the breakfasts are plentiful with a good selection. The dining staff again are so helpful, as are the front desk staff who sorted out a sunset boat trip for us and also changed money for us, we really appreciate your help and kindness.|When returning back to the hotel from excursions the doormen will open the taxi door for you and also open the hotel entrance doors for you, honestly you will feel like royalty. Wonderful staff are here in this hotel.|The private beach is very lovely, the beach guys are helpful and again it's the little touches like bringing water to your beach table in an ice cooler and asking how your day is going. I loved the cleaning from moshing and sahadat. Polite and very respectful brothers. You need more people like them guys that make the company grow. Mainly Shah jalal one of the best guy to get along with and he got be a discount for the spa. All the guys 5 stars. Love them guys.

We went in July 2025, family of five (three children). The hotel is more like a resort, beach, pools, entertainment. They even have golf buggies to transport guests around the hotel. The rooms are large and luxurious. We stayed in a two-bed suite and it was as big as a large flat with loads of space, lovely bathrooms and balconies. The food variety was excellent and lived up to the five star standard. The staff all went out of their way to help however they could. Kids club was fantastic, all my kids enjoyed it, there is a play station 5, movie projector, toys, books entertainment for all children and constant supervision by the staff. We all had an amazing time and need to go back as the experience was so good.

Excellent spa service, very relaxing. Pat was very good at listening to your requests and accommodating the service accordingly. Very professional, respecting people’s privacy. Cons: expensive, the minimum is 600 QR per hour

The food was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and served hot — just the way breakfast should be. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the warm parathas and flavorful curries, everything was delicious.||The service was equally impressive — staff were polite, quick, and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a peaceful morning meal. especially thank you so much Shah jalal.😍
