This is a great night and something different to do on a Friday or Saturday. The venue is really shabby but that kinda adds to its appeal.
You can sit outside with a drink or there are a couple of bar areas were there are TOTE's so you don't need to go far for a bet.
It's £5 in on a Saturday and the first race is usually about quarter to eight with the last one being around quarter past ten. There is a newish bar called the dugout and it stays open until 12am, this is ideal to be as i would recommend booking a taxi for your journey home as it can be a bit quiet outside the stadium.
There is a huge car park but it would be worth leaving the car as it is a reasonably priced round.
There is a restaurant which is a set menu and is a bit school dinners eg steak pie, chicken in a basket etc but it was packed last Saturday so you should book a table rather than turn up.
There is also a snack bar which will do you chips n gravy, burgers, tunnocks tea cakes and rolls etc.
I prefer going in the summer as its nice to get a seat outside, also its a good place to come for a few pints before moving on into town.
