Shearing Shed

I got good old country hospitality at the Shearing Shed. I was visiting Dubbo for a medical reason and it was an early morning procedure, but check-in isn't until 3pm. And I couldn't drive my car to the hospital. I called them en route to see if there was a room available and could I possibly leave my car in the carpark. Yes, and yes. They also put my refrigerated goods into my room fridge. The lovely lady also called me a taxi. When I returned she knew me and asked if I was OK, and could she get me anything. I'd already sorted that. It was still hours away from 3pm, but she told me my room was all ready for me to go and rest in. I was so grateful 🙏🏽. Thank you. I didn't leave it for 24 hrs. The lady was also lovely this morning when I returned the key. I'll be going back there. Plus, it's spotless. And the bed is very comfortable 😌

Our room was clean and spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 children, ages 10 and 13. There was a queen sized bed and 2 twin beds making it very comfortable for all of us. The amenities in the room were convenient. There was a tea kettle and tea available. There was a microwave and cutlery if needed. The pool was a nice addition. The motel is walking distance to downtown Dubbo so we were able to walk to restaurants that were close by. The only drawback from our stay was our loud neighbors who were particularly noisy overnight for no apparent reason.

A great place for a short stay in Dubbo. We had two nights in a queen suite that was immaculately clean, warm and quiet. Lovely hot shower with good pressure was really appreciated after a long drive. Microwave, jug, toaster and crockery allowed us to easily self cater for breakfast. Management have recently upgraded the beds, we had a fabulous sleep! Thank you 🤗|Location is perfect if you don't want to drive to dinner. There are some excellent restaurants within easy flat walking distance.|The staff are great! Friendly and helpful with good recommendations for dinner, and suggestions for our visit to the Zoo.|Highly recommended this accommodation. We'll stay here when we're in Dubbo again.

We arrived much earlier than expected and were warmly welcomed by the staff, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family of six. The location is convenient—close to food options and easy to get around. Unfortunately, we did have very loud neighbours who disturbed our children’s sleep several times throughout the night, which did impact our overall stay, however not the fault of the motel. Otherwise, it was a great stopover and the staff were great.

This stay was great. Our Family came here to stay for a rugby tournament and it did not disappoint. The owner and the people there were polite and respectful. Our rooms were very neat and clean and had big space for us. We were a bit sad the pool was not open but we enjoyed every moment of our stay at Dubbo Comfort Inn Shearing Shed.

Very conveniently located for shopping and dining. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Nice pool area. Some noise from the road can be heard in the room. They have twoEV chargers.

Very impressed with this neat and tidy motel in Dubbo. A good greeting from Mark and we were allowed to check in early with no problem. A good sized room, excellent heating, very hot water, bowls, mugs, glasses etc. provided. Although the motel was fully booked for the night we heard no noise from other rooms. It was great to see on our arrival a hose to wash mud & dust of the car and also buckets with window cleaners outside rooms. Great toilet paper which is not normal in a lot of motels. Would certainly stay again. Very reasonable rate after our 20% discount for being a Choice Hotels member.

Stayed for one night, passing through Dubbo. Bed was comfortable, very clean, quiet room and friendly helpful hosts. Located in a prime spot in Dubbo. Would definitely stay again
