Shearing Shed

Stayed here for a touch football competition. Very convenient location, close to town, close to the fields - walking distance, close to restaurants. The staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms cleaned every day and cleaned well. Pool and BBQ area maintained well and very clean. Overall a great stay.

Phenomenal service! We called at 9:50pm on a Thursday and despite it being well after hours, Ash was able to accommodate us last minute with no stress. Rooms were clean, cool (with aircon and fans) and well stocked. Beds were made up with good quality linen with extra pillows and blankets available. The shower has excellent pressure and fast, continuous hot water. The black out blinds were wonderful and even when the sun was fully up, it was dark in the room. While we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ area, an outdoor pool and an outdoor smoking area (far enough away from the rooms to not cause any issues). We don't come to Dubbo often, but this is a location that we will recommend to friends and family. $226 for a two bedroom (queen + two singles + sofa bed) on the Thursday before TCMF. Excellent price.

Clean and easy to access nice big rooms. Nice big spa. Which i don't think was cleaned once while I was there and used it. King bed was soft on one.side mattress obviously needs turning over or something. Floor never got.vacuumed in 2 days was there either. Ordered continental breakfast and it showed up next morning late as I was about to leave.

My husband and I slept over in the king size bed / bathtub (room 11) twice on our recent trip to Victoria, there and back, coming from the midd-north coast. 18 hours trip cut into two day for us. ||We were pleasantly impressed with Shearing Shed Motor Inn from the start, right before of our arrival.||We loved the fact that reception is open till 10 pm. That is important for us because of the long road trip and our arrival time to Dubbo is closer to 6 pm. A confirmation text was sent a day before with instructions and welcome notes. 😊||The room looks terrific. Not overly fancy but clean room, very comfortable, king size bed, and very well maintained bathroom with shower and a bathtub, enmities ect...||We didn't do much in Dubbo as we only stayed overnight. And our wonderful room and polite receptionist made our days well worth.||** Over the years, we stayed in Dubbo in different places on our travelling throughs. But each time our sleep and rest was spoiled due to loudly buzzing fridge noises & water pipes all night.||In Searing Shed Mottor Inn, the best thing was amongst I mentioned was this little fridge that was silent, while it's cooled our drinks for the next day's road trip. We felt fully rested and ready to drive away each mornings as we depart from the Motor Inn.

Our room was clean and spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 children, ages 10 and 13. There was a queen sized bed and 2 twin beds making it very comfortable for all of us. The amenities in the room were convenient. There was a tea kettle and tea available. There was a microwave and cutlery if needed. The pool was a nice addition. The motel is walking distance to downtown Dubbo so we were able to walk to restaurants that were close by. The only drawback from our stay was our loud neighbors who were particularly noisy overnight for no apparent reason.

A great place for a short stay in Dubbo. We had two nights in a queen suite that was immaculately clean, warm and quiet. Lovely hot shower with good pressure was really appreciated after a long drive. Microwave, jug, toaster and crockery allowed us to easily self cater for breakfast. Management have recently upgraded the beds, we had a fabulous sleep! Thank you 🤗|Location is perfect if you don't want to drive to dinner. There are some excellent restaurants within easy flat walking distance.|The staff are great! Friendly and helpful with good recommendations for dinner, and suggestions for our visit to the Zoo.|Highly recommended this accommodation. We'll stay here when we're in Dubbo again.

I got good old country hospitality at the Shearing Shed. I was visiting Dubbo for a medical reason and it was an early morning procedure, but check-in isn't until 3pm. And I couldn't drive my car to the hospital. I called them en route to see if there was a room available and could I possibly leave my car in the carpark. Yes, and yes. They also put my refrigerated goods into my room fridge. The lovely lady also called me a taxi. When I returned she knew me and asked if I was OK, and could she get me anything. I'd already sorted that. It was still hours away from 3pm, but she told me my room was all ready for me to go and rest in. I was so grateful 🙏🏽. Thank you. I didn't leave it for 24 hrs. The lady was also lovely this morning when I returned the key. I'll be going back there. Plus, it's spotless. And the bed is very comfortable 😌
