Shearing Shed

We arrived much earlier than expected and were warmly welcomed by the staff, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family of six. The location is convenient—close to food options and easy to get around. Unfortunately, we did have very loud neighbours who disturbed our children’s sleep several times throughout the night, which did impact our overall stay, however not the fault of the motel. Otherwise, it was a great stopover and the staff were great.

Very impressed with this neat and tidy motel in Dubbo. A good greeting from Mark and we were allowed to check in early with no problem. A good sized room, excellent heating, very hot water, bowls, mugs, glasses etc. provided. Although the motel was fully booked for the night we heard no noise from other rooms. It was great to see on our arrival a hose to wash mud & dust of the car and also buckets with window cleaners outside rooms. Great toilet paper which is not normal in a lot of motels. Would certainly stay again. Very reasonable rate after our 20% discount for being a Choice Hotels member.

This stay was great. Our Family came here to stay for a rugby tournament and it did not disappoint. The owner and the people there were polite and respectful. Our rooms were very neat and clean and had big space for us. We were a bit sad the pool was not open but we enjoyed every moment of our stay at Dubbo Comfort Inn Shearing Shed.

Great central location, big size room. TV as smart, allows streaming. Cutlery provided. Parking on site. Shower could do with an upgrade to mixer taps. My issue is the room lighting, no bed side lamp or light switch, only switch to light is at the door.

Manager Mark was really helpful in booking offering a better rate when booking direct. He set up an extra bed in our room for our family of 5 and organised a key for a later check in. He even sent a personalised message when he left saying he'd left a light on for us an fresh milk in the fridge. So thoughtful. Room was spacious and clean with good quality sheets and towels and amenities all great quality. Highly recommend.

We had a 1 bedroom unit which was spacious & well equipped travelling with 2 kids. Good for them to have their own room.

A warm friendly welcome from Trish and Mike at reception starts a lovely stop over during a long road trip. Our executive family room was clean tidy and had all we needed. The best bit was the help from Mike and Trish - fabulous customer service. Everything you need for ease of travel - chance to buy a continental or hot breakfast to your room. A $5 charity donation to use the guest laundry and a bin in your room to collect plastic bottles to help the Salvation Army/Vinnies! A simple but fantastic initiative!

This was a great spot to stay in Dubbo. The rooms are clean and have everything you need (even biscuits!), it is in a great convenient location with plenty of fast food options directly across the road, and nice restaurants a short walk, plus all the shops including supermarket around the corner in walking distance. A few minutes drive to the zoo. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend.
