Gem of B&B. Martina and her husband have everything top notch. We stayed with my grown up kids as part of our road-trip to Ireland and the overnight stay was terrific. Booked 2 rooms and both rooms were very comfortable and roomy. The breakfast was amazing. Homemade bread, cake and jams with hot options cooked to order. |If in the are don’t hesitate. Choose these B&B.

Martina and John have created a truly beautiful home away from home. Martina was incredibly attentive — morning, noon, and night — taking care of us and making sure every detail was perfect. The grounds, lobby, cozy seating areas, bar/lounge, and dining room were intimate and inviting at the same time. |Our rooms were spacious, and incredibly comfortable. (And the duvet made sleep - well sleepy.)|The meals John prepared were nothing short of gourmet — some of the best I’ve ever had — and each dish presentation was more beautiful than the last.|All I can say is: stay at Sheedy’s. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I were part of a cycling trip in west Ireland and we were lucky to have stayed 2 nights at Sheedy's. Martina was a fabulous, attentive hostess and John provided us with fantastic meals. Arriving at the hotel after a day of cycling felt like coming home. Our room was spacious and clean and we slept beautifully. I would recommend Sheedy's to anyone who is traveling in and around Lisdoonvarna.

From the moment you walk in you are treated like family. Such a cozy inn and you are cared for by the 7th generation owners, Martina and John. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are generously sized. The location is within walking distance of a small store and The Roadside Tavern. The food is amazing, carefully crafted by John himself and so delicious and well presented.

A completely charming hotel with an outstanding breakfast. |Quiet, quaint, with lovely retro rooms with upgraded conveniences without ruining the ambiance. |The breakfast is award winning and I see why! I had the local goat cheese and salmon bagel, which I would never normally order. It was outstanding. It is a multi course breakfast. |The manager was lovely, attentive and super helpful on making sure our activities for the day were done up well.

Sheedy's Hotel & Restaurant is in a great location. Very quiet. A short drive to Doolin town and Aran Islands ferry service. Martina and John Sheedy are wonderful host. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.|DO NOT miss breakfast. There's a lot of choices and everything is delicious. The Sheedy's source only the best local ingredients. Yummy stuff!||Our room did not have AC. We were visiting during warmer weather. No problem though. The hotel is situated nicely to catch outside breeze with large picture windows that open. Also, there's a room fan in closet should someone want additional air circulation. ||Bonus: Sheedy's restaurant serves dinner most nights of week. Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of this. Based on breakfast I have no doubt dinners are wonderful too!

My husband and I stayed at Sheedys for our anniversary and have to say we had a perfect weekend.|We stayed 2 nights with the walking experience. The hotel is in a lovely spot with really pretty views.|There was such attention to detail and the food was gorgeous; we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both days, everything was very tasty.|The Burren walk guided by Shane was very interesting and the lunch from Martina had absolutely everything you'd need all packed in a handy bag for us; it definitely hit the spot after our walk finished. |As we didn't have to worry about lunch, we had plenty of time to make a visit to Ailwee cave on the way back to the hotel which was a nice unplanned addition to the day.|A nice fire to relax beside after dinner, couldn't ask for more.|We'll certainly remember our visit and be back again in the future.

Lisdoonvarna is the perfect base for your Clare holiday with so many great places such as Doolin, the ferry to the islands, Kilfenora, Lahinch, Liscannor and the Burren only a short drive away. The hotel is cosy luxury with lots of little treats to discover. With locally supplied produce, the evening meals are fine dining standard and the breakfast feast is not to be missed. The Sheedy team are unsurpassed for hospitality and kindness so if you really want to treat yourself to a lovely break you couldn't choose better than to stay with them
