"International Flavors by the River Located by the Chao Phraya River and a stone's throw from the backpacker haven of Banglamphu, Sheepshank is one of Bangkok 's most appealing dining venues. Set in a former boatyard, it bills itself as a 'gastrobar' and offers a wide range of dishes such as duck confit, paella with prawn, squid and razor clams and slow-cooked octopus and creamed corn risotto."

Great restaurant facing the river. We came a few times and we both enjoyed it. Not the cheapest place to eat and drink but it's very nice. The fire time we came we just had drinks then the last time we came was late on a Monday night and we were the only people in there. I enjoyed the craft lager and my partner had a cocktail. We had ordered salmon and steak. Both were very tasty and nice. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend going here. I've posted the cost and pictures of the restaurant. This place was my favourite place out of all the bars and restaurants on the river.

Beautiful space, great food, excellent service. Directly on the waterfront, so you have to walk through the building parking garage to reach the restaurant. There is a craft beer pub out front with great bar food and snacks. The restaurant has a unique industrial feel that cannot be missed. Perfect for an evening out in Bangkok.

Great location right on the river front. Good selection of craft and international beers. The prices were a bit on the high end, expect to pay a couple of thousand Baht for two people. Food arrived promptly, portions were on the small side, but quite tasty. Staff were attentive and friendly.

I’m so glad that I was able to visit Sheepshank. To my surprise this place was quite hidden (went there through a parking garage) and I felt like I was going to uncover some secret spot. I really enjoyed the variety of craft beers they offered and the beautiful view! Unfortunately I was enjoying this place so much that I completely forgot to take some pictures and lived in the moment. So see you next time!

A beer with a view - probably the best river view in Bangkok - is one of the ace things about Sheepshank. Also fab is the selection of local craft beers, a decent menu, and warm service. The “entrance experience” is also like nothing else and always throws first timers - must visit if you are in the Banglamphu area & want to escape Kaosan Road.

Went for dinner on a Tuesday night and had an amazing meal. Not many people in the restaurant which was great. If you have never been here for dinner then I suggest that you go. The food was delicious. The bruschetta was better than many Italian restaurants serve and the same can be said about the hummus. The pork thigh was a thing of beauty. I had to check twice because the meat was cooked so perfectly that it just melted off the bone. I almost thought it was a brisket. The sauerkraut was excellent, as were the ribs. My only disappointment was that most of the craft beers were finished and I was only able to select from about 5 varieties versus 12. I will definitely be going back again soon.

I was craving dinner with a nice view of the River and read the reviews for Sheepshank Public House and decided to visit for dinner before walking through Khao San Road which is nearby. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic.

After eating Thai food for almost 3 weeks, it was refreshing to have some other types of food, and Sheepshank gastropub delivered. Started with the Lollipop Chicken, and it was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning and sauce, and it was very tasty. Next was Oxtail Tortellini.... the pasta was a bit doughy for my liking, but the meat was cooked just right. The bar has a mixture of wine, beer, and cocktails. But since going hard the night before, I decided to wash all the food down with some gingerale.😉🍺 The total bill came to $720 bhat Not the cheapest for Thailand but not the worst either.
