Very diverse collection of all kinds of things- Islamic Art, vintage weaponry, old toys and many other cool items. I came primarily to see the auto collection, which is currently under renovation- so only around 40 cars are displayed. Mostly American cars and trucks from the ‘50s and ‘60s. Highly recommend! Nice staff and complimentary arabic coffee upon entry is a nice touch. Not many visitors on Monday mid day.

It was such an interesting place to visit. The museum has changed a lot since I first visited it. The changes really added to the experience. So many different areas and interests are covered, and I believe 1 day is not enough to enjoy all these interesting artifacts, beautiful islamic, and archaeological items. There is a lovely cafe at the end of your tour. Tickets are 50QR, students, seniors, teachers, and cultural pass holders get a discount and pay 30QR. The museum is closed on Sunday and opens at 2 on Friday.

I recently visited the museum and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and diversity of the collection. The museum offers a unique journey through time, showcasing thousands of objects and various themes, including Islamic art, Qatari heritage, vintage vehicles, jewelry, and currency and toys! One of the highlights for me was the Syrian House and the Qur’an Room with unique curtain from Mecca. The architecture of the museum is a beautiful blend of traditional Qatari elements and modern design, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. The layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the extensive collection. Overall, the Sheikh Faisal Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, culture, and art. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you'll find something fascinating and enriching in this remarkable museum.
