Highlights for me included the impressive collection of fossils, which was both breathtaking and thoughtfully-provoking, extensive rug collection, and vast collection of crusader weapons. The museum's commitment to education and community engagement is commendable. Whether you're an art enthusiast, history buff, or just looking for a fun and educational outing, this museum is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more!

Absolutely incredible museum—one of the hidden gems of Qatar! The Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum is a place that truly takes you on a journey through time, culture, and heritage. I was amazed by the sheer size and diversity of the collection. From ancient Islamic manuscripts and traditional textiles to classic cars and rare artifacts from around the world, every room felt like stepping into a different chapter of history. One of my favorite parts was the vintage car collection—hundreds of beautifully preserved cars that even someone with little car knowledge can appreciate. The Quran room was also deeply moving, showcasing historic copies and beautifully crafted calligraphy. There’s even a reconstructed traditional Syrian house, which adds such a personal and human touch to the exhibits. The museum is very well maintained, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The layout is easy to navigate, and there are plenty of signs in English and Arabic. It’s located a bit outside of Doha, but it’s absolutely worth the drive. Plus, there’s ample parking and a peaceful, scenic environment around the museum. Highly recommended for families, tourists, and anyone curious about Qatar’s cultural depth. Don’t miss this place—it’s not just a museum, it’s an experience!

This museum is large and quite eccentric. It’s on the pricey side at 100 riyals per person, half an hour outside of Doha. It’s a huge collection of random possessions without much curation or labelling. I didn’t even know who Sheikh Faisal was by the end of it. Much of it was not so great, but the classic car collection is excellent. Really old vintage cars with old Qatari number plates. Only bit worth it for me - nice outing but not worth the price.

An interesting and huge museum only half an hour drive from Doha with an amazingly rich and eclectic private collections of Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani. The vintage car collection is just interesting as the displays of carpets, furnitures, ships, medical equipment, photos and paintings, weapons, etc.

Car exhibition closed until further notice! Check instagram since they don’t write anything about it on their website. The museum is interesting but to be honest we all go there because of the amazing car exhibition!

Very diverse collection of all kinds of things- Islamic Art, vintage weaponry, old toys and many other cool items. I came primarily to see the auto collection, which is currently under renovation- so only around 40 cars are displayed. Mostly American cars and trucks from the ‘50s and ‘60s. Highly recommend! Nice staff and complimentary arabic coffee upon entry is a nice touch. Not many visitors on Monday mid day.
