Sheikh Zayed Festival

Its like a mini global village but with class. The crowd is not wild like that we see at the global village. They have a very good laser show with pleasant music...they have cultural performances which are very amusing. The best thing to see and visit were the Floating Thailand markets...they were actually food stalls in boat.. floating in water canals. They also have kids rides and games area as well. We saw the beautiful cultural performances of Emirates and their traditional dances. The roads that lead up to the area are so decorated and lit....it just uplifts the mood and bring out the festive vibes in you. There is plenty of free parking and paid parking (close to the main enterance).

It was a lovely experience. We went on the weekend, parking was easy. There are a lot of country stalls with products to buy and good food. We went on the Flying Cup which takes you about 40 metres high and slowly rotates to give you a 360 degree view. You can even take tea, coffee and snacks up there.

The Sheikh Zayed Festival is truly an incredible experience with an amazing atmosphere. It has grown and evolved over the years into a vibrant mini global village, showcasing various country pavilions, delicious foods, floating markets, lively stage performances, captivating fountain shows, and spectacular fireworks. There are plenty of free activities for kids to enjoy, making it a family-friendly destination. One of the highlights for us was the mini zoo, which requires a separate ticket. It features an impressive variety of animals, including tigers, lions, alligators, cheetahs, and more, offering visitors the chance to see them up close. My kids especially loved this part! However, I did feel that the animals were kept in relatively small spaces, which was a bit concerning. Overall, the Sheikh Zayed Festival is a fantastic place to visit, and I’d happily return multiple times during the season!

We went on weekend here this festival features various attractions, such as rides and games, as well as other events for entertainment purposes. I like the structures and attractions around a central theme, often featuring multiple areas with different themes. What i loved the most is they have performer on the entrance area, singing lively music and interacting to visitors. Not crowded, and very clean, i love the fireworks display where u can feel it closely and its like 3 minutes display . Very affordable products u can buy inside. 👌🏼

A Spectacular New Year’s Eve at Zayed Festival City. Celebrating New Year’s Eve at Zayed Festival City was truly an unforgettable experience! The festival offered a mini version of the Global Village, with diverse cultural showcases, entertainment, and food stalls that created a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the longest fireworks display, which was absolutely mesmerizing. Watching the sky light up in brilliant colors, synchronized to music, was a magical moment that made the night extra special. Adding to the excitement was the drone show, which was beautifully choreographed and left everyone amazed. What I really appreciated was the family-friendly vibe of the festival. You’re allowed to bring outside food, chairs, and even carpets, which makes it easy to find a cozy spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the festivities. The only drawback was the parking situation. Knowing where to park for a quick exit is essential, as you could otherwise get stuck in traffic for hours. A little better organization in this area would make the experience flawless. Overall, Zayed Festival City was an amazing place to welcome the new year, offering entertainment, beauty, and memories to cherish. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a festive and joyous celebration!

Such an amazing experience, full of vibrant cultural exhibits, delicious food, and entertaining performances. The event is well-organized, but I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance to save time and avoid long lines. There’s so much to see and do, from live shows to unique shopping stalls, so plan to spend several hours here. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming for all ages. Overall, it’s a must-visit festival that truly showcases the best of heritage and entertainment!

It is soo good that i will say it's better than global village i went with my friend played rides the rides were soo good and the best part there was a dirt bike show it was soo insane it had me and my friend in aww then the other best thing was the animal section soo much different animals that I never seen in real life like monkeys and lemurs and other animals and the festival has the countries section you gotta try the Arab food from the sham section it's the best

I had such a magical experience with my mom at the festival last night. As it was midweek, we had time to roam around and look at EVERYTHING without being bumped by others or rushed at places. There are stores selling key rings, mugs, clothes, shoes, handbags, spices, dates, body creams, soaps, perfumes and SO MUCH MORE. The festival has a few new attractions that brought much delight, such as the floating market and a huge new seating area with live entertainment and performances. The entertainment was silly but the children enjoyed it. There are many food options at each countries hub and a variety of drinks from hot drinks to milkshakes, slushes and and and… We shared a HUGE baked potato that was filled with delicious toppings (Turkey). We also shared the baked mussels (Tara Thai - floating mussels) I’m not a huge fan of animals in cages so we did not enter that section but we did wander around the festival a few times trying different snacks and enjoying the cool, fresh air. The toilets are busy but clean. There are many rubbish collectors around to ensure the public spaces are always litter free, neat and tidy. The dancing fountain and laser show did not last very long… Perhaps on the weekends more of an effort is made to encourage people to stay. Overall it is a memorable experience. The cooler weather adds to the enjoyment 🙌🏻
