"Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the world's largest, is an Abu Dhabi must-see. Completed in 2007, it can fit 40,000 visitors and worshippers into a space the size of four football fields. But it's not only the size that's impressive. The architecture is a shining culmination of cross-cultural influences: The architects were Emirati, Italian, and British, bringing together design elements from Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, Egypt, and beyond. The details here are grand, from the reflective pools to the 82 white marble domes, 1,096 exterior columns, and 24-carat gold Swarovski crystal chandeliers, all creating a transcendental experience." - Jenna Scatena

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is an architectural masterpiece and truly one of the most breathtaking landmarks in the world. The intricate design, grand scale, and stunning white marble make it a must-visit destination. The atmosphere is serene and awe-inspiring, offering a glimpse into both cultural and spiritual beauty. Nothing can match the beauty of this place! We chose to do the two cultural tours provided by the Mosque, one in the evening, at sunset and another one during the day, at noon. One was more beautiful than the other! The guides of these tours have so much knowledge, so many beautiful stories to tell, all with great kindness and answering all the questions asked by the visitors! Thanks to Saeed for the evening tour and to Ali for the daytime tour! Each with its own charm, you will remain forever in our memories!

The Grand Mosque is a must see. The architecture and artistry on display is awesome and inspiring. The tickets are free and easy to book online(and adjust your date and time if needed). We went during a slower time so booking wasn't needed but makes your time there easier. There is a dress code but it is rather easy. Guys wear pants and a shirt(T-shirt send to be fine) at a minimum. Women need to cover down to ankles and wrists and wear a scarf over their hair. They do check and will deny access if you didn't meet the restrictions. There is a mall along the tunnel to the mosque from the drop off area. At the drop off area go to in the little building and go down. Follow signs. It isn't that hard. Enjoy the beauty of the architecture and design!

A great visit. Such a beautiful and imposing mosque. Everything is well organized, with plenty of photo opportunities around. Ticket is free but recommended to book in advance on their website. Dress code for women is on the website, long sleeves (not transparent) and long pants are fine. Hair must be covered with a scarf. There is no renting or lending of scarves or cover ups.

It’s an amazing construction. We visited the mosque on Sunday, and it was crowded. People from different countries come to visit, and it is not restricted to any particular religion. Prior registration is required to visit, including for infants; otherwise, entry will not be allowed. There are some dress codes to follow—shorts are not permitted, and sleeveless dresses for women are not allowed. Clothing should fully cover the arms, and short skirts are also prohibited. Jeans are allowed, but for women, covering the head is mandatory. Strict security measures are in place. Buggy services are available for easy commuting. The mosque is very hygienic, well-maintained, and kept neat and clean.

Entrance is free, and it’s very crowded when we came in January. You need to register online to get tickets, and you will receive a QR code for entry. For woman, you will need to cover your head and wear long sleeves, your pants shouldn’t show your body figure. The mosque itself is very very beautiful and well maintained. Lots of photo op. You need to walk quite a distance (with escalators) to get to the entry. There’s beautiful chandelier inside the mosque too. It looks really beautiful from the outside too. You will have to enter from the other side of the building, go underground and there’re lots of food and shops here too. You can get scarves here if you forgot to bring something to cover your head.

We visited this beautiful mosque in the evening, which had its advantages and charm. There were few people moving here and everything was beautifully lit. Admission is free, but I recommend registering on the official website and showing your tickets upon entry. On the website you can read what clothes are suitable. You can also buy it for an affordable price in the department store through which the entrance to the mosque leads. Transportation to the mosque is cheap, take a taxi.

Such a beautiful place to visit Entrance is free but you just need to register online to get tickets, If you identify as female, you need to cover your head and wear long sleeves but if you are not prepared when you arrive there are plenty of places in the shopping mall underneath the mosque for you to purchase something appropriate. There are lots of rules you must follow whilst inside including not lifting your arms above your head but if you act dignified and respectfully you will be fine. After your visit there are plenty of places to eat in the mall underneath so you can enjoy a bite to eat in air conditioned comfort before heading to your next location.
