Sheki Saray Hotel

The worst excuse for a 4 star hotel this side of Macedonia. The free breakfast, not available until eight o'clock, is overpriced. The shower is dangerous. No coffee pot in the room. The staff's incompetence is only exceeded by their rudeness.

The Sheki Saray is located to town. Walking distance. A convient store is nearby. The reception dnt speak too much english but can assist. The lift is pretty slow. It is faster to walk up. Only 4 floors. The bed was comfortable with toillteries. Breakfast was good with a variety of buttet food.

The hotel manager is the rudest,impolite and non caring person we've ever met.I think with a new one you may have more guests.

Stayed here in April 2022 with friends. This was part of a long road trip around the Caucasus area.||||Check-in was assisted by our tour guide and we got rooms soon enough. Aircon was under maintenance, so they shifted us to higher grade rooms on the top floor. The room size was the same but the spec is a lot higher/better…and of course everything worked. I appreciated the change in room, and also that management came and made sure we were okay.||||Rooms are standard for this category of hotel. Some reviews mentioned the loud square but we didn’t encounter any of that sound. I slept soundly the one night we were in Town. Bathrooms could be a little nicer. Top floor rooms have a nice view over the town, which is a positive. ||||We had a drink at the lobby bar and the staff were nice enough to run out and get some beer for us from the neighborhood store, as they were out. ||||We also received a couple of recommendations for dinner restaurants…the one we visited was an extremely short walk away, and was delicious. ||||The breakfast was included in our room package, but I must say was a bit spare and disappointing. Maybe it’s better when more guests are staying at the hotel.||||Overall, it’s just what I expected…I don’t imagine there is much better lodging anywhere in town.

Perfect location in center of old town. Next to a park-like square, city buses and taxis right outside, coffee shop, supermarket and restaurants close. Some employees speak English. Room 408 is a corner room with big windows on two sides. Clean except for a few stains on the carpet. Shower is good and water is hot. Breakfast is adequate; nothing special but good enough. Would be glad to stay in 408 again. Stayed 2 nights.

One of the best hotels in Sheki. We stayed twice in the hotel and it is good for families with young children as they have had family rooms/suites. They have both indoor and outdoor dinning. Food is tasty and well presented. Friendly staff, clean and good atmosphere in the dining area and in the hotel throughout.

We found this hotel quite decent with good location in the centre of town. Its lobby is large and well decorated while the breakfast is full with local food and juice. Room is very spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sheki town is a historical city that has its own palace na nice bazaar. Recommend this hotel to stay while you explore Sheki.

Stayed one night with a small group on a Caucasus tour. Room and common areas clean, room was comfortable. Good lobby bar and seating areas, inside and outside, for a drink. Modern decor. Breakfast buffet was great, large variety of food, and eggs made to order.
