Shelton Vineyards

We had our wedding reception at the Farm House at Shelton Vineyards, and it was absolutely perfect. We got married at a different location nearby that was special to our family, and Jennie made the transition to the reception so easy. She was incredibly kind and helpful, and really took the time to understand our vision for the evening. The food, catered by the Harvest Grill on-site, was amazing—our guests are still talking about it! There were so many great options to choose from, and everything was delicious. The setting is stunning. We caught golden hour and got the most beautiful photos with the vineyard in the background. It was such a peaceful and gorgeous space to celebrate. I’m so glad we chose the Farm House and I highly recommend it for any special event!

First time here and it was to pick up for my job. I would have loved to have toured the grounds. But a piece of crap Google maps took me on a 3.5 hour drive to get there. Actual drive 1.20 hours once I got there and realized where I was. It is a beautiful place supporting NC and happy valley filling station in Lenoir. Check it out. It's beautiful 😍❤️

Our anniversary visit to Shelton Vineyards was absolutely amazing!!! The grounds are beautiful. The tasting room and shop were great and had a wealth of “wine finds” to add to my collection. The entire staff was warm and welcoming from the time we walked in the door and Cindy was the absolute best in the tasting room!!!

My husband and I ran the Shelton Vineyards “Running the Vines” 5K last weekend. The race was extremely well organized and it was a wonderful post-race celebration. It was our first visit to Shelton Vineyards but it definitely won’t be our last!

This is a beautiful and very large vineyard. They also have a pond with huge carp and catfish. You can sit under the trees and enjoy your wine and views.

We had my sister’s bridal shower at the farmhouse and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! Jennie and Amanda were both super helpful through the planning process and during the event! I would definitely recommend Shelton’s vineyard for any event!

A wonderful surprise! We were spending the night in Dobson and looking for a decent place to dine. This far exceeded our expectations. One host/ waiter, Benjamin, who did an outstanding job. Wine was half of a bottle, and you can cork what you don't drink. Brussel sprouts seemed a little salty, but they were superb as warmed up leftovers! The big guy had the Fishmonger's prime and grits. The whitefish was nicely dusted and flakey, and the grits were done perfectly. The special was a pasta dish with a bolognese that was excellent and reheated nicely also. Give this establishment a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. We weren't!

We recently visited during the HarvestTasting. Perfect day with great music and vendors. The food is always delicious at the grill. And of course, the star of the show is their wonderful selection of wines. Beautiful vineyard. Staff is awesome ! Derek met us at the door with his hands full of glasses yet went out of his way to welcome us and help us schedule a tasting as well as a lunch reservation. Joy, was our wine server who was very knowledgeable of their wines and made great recommendations based on her questions about our tastes. And kudos to Courtney, our server for lunch. Service was impeccable.
