東北人 have a negative stereotype that whatever they do, it's without care for quality, and things just come out looking janky. Not the case here with these folks! The food is pretty good, and you can tell the clientele here have good relations with the owners.
My party and I kept calling back to make changes to the reservations, and they didn't say a word. Did their best to accommodate. Plus, compared to other regional Chinese cuisines, Northeastern Chinese food tends to be the best bang for the buck. Last but not least, if there is a positive stereotype 東北人 are known for, it's being 爽快. Not pretentious at all, and to the point. Gotta' love that about them!
