Sher-E-Punjab in Goa is absolutely fantastic! The food is rich in authentic Punjabi flavors — every dish feels like a celebration of North Indian cuisine. The butter chicken and dal makhani were incredibly delicious, and the naan was soft and fresh. The staff are warm, welcoming, and very attentive. The restaurant has a lively yet comfortable vibe, perfect for families and friends. A must-visit for anyone who loves genuine Indian food!

This is one of the few places in Goa that serves authentic North Indian / Punjabi food. (I've tried many other restaurants, but they've all left me dissatisfied.) The prices are also reasonable. Good place for a family lunch or dinner, or for going out with colleagues. We had the ghee roast chicken and the Peshwari chicken, and both were great. They serve perfectly cooked naans and missi roti here. The chicken tikka biryani was also good, (though peoples' opinion about any and all biryanis is usually very subjective). Finding a good parking spot is the only issue, as the 18th June road is always busy during working hours. But don't let that stop you from visiting here at least once for a great Punjabi food experience.

Really nice environment, AC section is nice, food is top tier, infact the Khichdi here is the best one i have ever had in my life. Definitely will come back and try the other foods, will update the review then!! Quality of the food is phenomenal and stomach always feels nice and not heavy or bloated after finishing the meal Edit: Added more pictures of the foods i have had here, everything is really really good and i have been coming here almost daily, waiters and staff are really nice and polite and they don't annoy you if you eat too slowly or take long time to decide what to order. Currently it's definitely my favorite place in Panjim

I recently dined at Sher-E-Punjab Restaurant and Bar, and it was a fantastic experience. I tried the Paneer Tikka Masala along with Onion Kulcha and Masala Kulcha, and they were all incredibly tasty! The Paneer Tikka Masala was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the soft and well-prepared kulchas. Whether you're into veg or non-veg, this place has something delicious for everyone. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal!

Excellent resto, will surely come back, reasonable price with authentic north Indian cuisine. Feels like you are really in Punjab ,,one of the best in town. Will bring my parents next visit. Royal falooda was wow. Mutton was so soft and didn't stink. Satisfied. Will try the tandoori next time. Coz it smells so good.

All the food and staff are good. However, in case of an emergency, there is only a urinal available — no proper washroom facility. It’s disappointing that a restaurant established in 1969 does not provide such a basic amenity. There’s no benefit in visiting a restaurant at a tourist place if people cannot freshen up properly. Team, please take this feedback seriously. Thank you.

Sher-E-Punjab in Panjim offers a pleasant ambiance for enjoying decent Punjabi food. Their desserts are worth a try too. Prices are reasonable, but parking can be a challenge. Solid option for a casual Indian meal.

The place is quite popular already, and it does stand up to its popularity.. The food was great, both in terms of quality and quantity.. The service is prompt.. The ambience is great.. It's a great place in Panaji for a family lunch/dinner.. We ordered a few Vegetarian dishes only, as we visited there around the occasion of Diwali.. The food had a North Indian touch to it.. Would definitely recommend a visit..
