I visited this hotel for a simple coffee, but unfortunately, the whole experience was disappointing. The coffee was poorly made, and even after asking them to fix it, it came back exactly the same. I decided to leave and asked for the bill, but the waiter responded rudely and said they needed to check with the manager. When they came back, they said we didn’t need to pay, but I insisted because I believe in paying for what I order. The staff then offered to let us take something else instead, so my friend ordered a tea to go.
While waiting, the waitress came back and said we needed to pay for the tea because it was not the same item — completely contradicting what was said before. At that point, I was already frustrated and ready to leave, but my friend asked to speak with the manager. The manager, Melaku, whom I’ve had a bad experience with before, handled the situation very poorly. He was defensive, dismissive, and made no effort to resolve the issue professionally. Overall, the service was inconsistent and unprofessional from start to finish. Definitely not the level of hospitality you’d expect from a hotel of this standard.
