Sheraton Addis, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Addis Ababa

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had a great experience at Sheraton Addis — truly some of the best customer service ever. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, though a little refresh on the elevators, carpets, and hallways would elevate the overall experience even more. Still, the charm and hospitality of the hotel easily make up for it. Looking forward to staying again!

On the basis of two short stays (one night each), this is a very professionally run hotel that hits all the right marks. Pre-departure conversation with the concierge to arrange for airport pick-up was handled professionally and was reassuring. Arrival and departure airport transfers were seamless. On both stays, the room was impeccably clean and the bed very comfortable. My first arrival was late in the evening. I headed to Stanley's Bar for a couple of drinks and found the bar excellent and the bartender very friendly. The second time round, I made it to dinner at Summerfields. It was a Friday night, so the Ethiopian offerings were limited more or less to fasting food. The shiro was fantastic, as was the misir wat. Everyone I came across in the hotel was courteous and efficient. One quirk that could be addressed is that the website gives no contact e-mail for the hotel (or else it's very well hidden!). While my pre-arrival call to arrange an airport pick-up was seamless, it would've been easier to do this via e-mail. Excellent experience overall, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I am a frequent customer of the Sheraton Addis and I am happy with all the services provided. I would like to recommend the management about the service at the office bar on Thursdays and Saturdays. The requirement by the establishment to make an order of a liquor bottle is out of the standard. I can understand that there is a lot of expense involved with the band to make these nights such interesting. But there have to be other options like a minimum spending per table per person. This will give the customers options to enjoy the service by ordering whatever each wants. This is what a luxury hotel like the Sheraton should be doing to entertain the customers. I hope the management will see this and adjust the practice and meet the customers expectations.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! I truly have no complaints! EVERY staff member was overly courteous and helpful. The hotel is immaculately clean! Security is top notch and the many eateries located within had great food. I loved the outdoor gym and the jogging track. It is also centrally located and right across from the popular Unity Park. I will definitely be staying here if in Addis again!

This hotel is incredible from check-in to check-out. Reception staff are friendly, professional and eager to help. Of note is Selamawit who was extremely helpful to us in resolving some small issues that cropped up during our stay.. The Sheraton restaurants are superb including menus, servers etc. Stagione was our place for 2 of the 3 nights we had dinner at the hotel and being Italian, I can say that this food was real authentic Italian. The Asian restaurant was newly opened and it too was fabulous. Stanley's Bar is a real classic and we enjoyed our visits there chatting with the bartender. We appreciated the mix of Ethiopian specialties and Western choices offered at the extensive breakfast buffet. Spa services were extensive and very reasonably priced. My husband booked massages at the spa and was very pleased. The pool and surrounding area is very serene and relaxing except that for us, the weather did not cooperate. Bummer ! It is easy to just carve out a few days and just chill at this hotel without going off-campus and you will have a great time given all the yummy food venues, various bars, pool and spa services. It is important to mention the outstanding service we received from the concierge, Jemaldin Muzeyin, who shared lots of information on the area and helped arrange several of our transfers for shopping, other restaurants etc. We will never forget our experience at Sheraton Addis and consider it one of our top 5 hotels in the world and we've been to 94 countries. We are returning to this part of Africa in September, 2025 and opted to fly thru Addis Ababa (actually the best route), so we can spend 3 nights at Sheraton to just chill. We are already booked ! Can't wait to go back ! Thank you to the entire Sheraton team for making our stay so memorable.

Hotel is nice, clean and service is generally good. Bed is very comfy compared to other hotels and it has a nice pool although it’s not geo heated and cold ;-)||The exec lounge was good but I found the service a bit hot and miss in the mornings and evenings, the staff were nice but they need to be more out of the back kitchen and in the lounge being attentive imho.||The food quality I had from room service wasn’t great to be honest but could have been my choices.||I’d definitely stay there again

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a remarkable stay at this elegant hotel! From the moment we stepped into the grand Colonial-style building, we were truly captivated by the ambiance and hospitality. The location is ideal, just a stone's throw away from the Ethiopian National Theatre and the National Museum of Ethiopia, offering convenient access to these cultural gems. Our room was simply furnished yet incredibly cozy, equipped with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and a well-stocked minibar. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Club-floor room with its exclusive lounge access and complimentary cocktails, adding an extra touch of luxury to our experience. The dining options here are exceptional, catering to every palate with a diverse range of cuisines. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Italian restaurant and the Indian eatery, both offering a culinary delight. The chic spa with its sauna and whirlpool tub provided a perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploration. The outdoor pool was a refreshing retreat, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. Special kudos to the staff for their attentiveness and warm hospitality. Overall, our time at this upscale hotel was nothing short of splendid, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Ethiopia!

A wonderful spot to call home while you visit the city. In fact, you probably won’t NEED to leave. Tons of things to do and places to have a meal. The bed is SUPER comfy. The grand entry is impressive. The daily coffee experience at 3pm is super cool. The pool area is nice and the meeting space is huge. The staff knocked it it of the park. Super helpful and friendly.
