We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Batumi and by truly enjoyed our visit. The location is excellent – very close to the promenade, Europe Square, and many nice restaurants in the area. There’s also a small SPAR supermarket and a pharmacy nearby, which makes the stay very convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was overall good — not a huge variety, but enough options to suit everyone’s taste. The indoor pool was great — large, clean, and very pleasant to use. The only downside was the strong chlorine level, which caused some eye irritation afterward, but it was still one of the best indoor pools in the city. The casino inside the hotel is nice and elegant, with a good atmosphere, but it was disappointing that there were only two tables of each type of game. We had to wait several hours for a seat, which took away from the fun. Also, there were no poker tables for tournaments — only games against the dealer, which limits the experience for more serious players. Overall, a high-quality hotel in an excellent location with great facilities and a pleasant atmosphere. We’d love to see a bit more attention to small details, like expanding breakfast options and adding more game tables in the casino, but we’d definitely be happy to come back again.

We stay ther 8 days. The hotel is nice we was in a clab room with acsess to the lounch. It was good to seat there from time to time drink somthing eat somting. And thr view is very nice. We eat 2 times in the top restaorant The live music was nice and in the corect volum. The dishes was ok and good price. We do not use the cazino.

I had a great stay at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, helpful, and always made sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered wonderful views of the city and the sea. I especially enjoyed the breakfast; there was a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I’d definitely stay here again

I booked 3 Executive rooms expecting Sheraton’s premium standards—what I got instead was poor service, unhygienic conditions, and a complete disregard for guest safety.||At check-in, I was told one room was upgraded to a suite with lounge access, confirmed by both receptionist and bellboy. The very next day, my access was revoked without warning and I was rudely told I hadn’t paid for it—despite the fact it was their upgrade offer. Staff communication was nearly impossible as no one spoke basic English.||Guest assistance was non-existent. Asked for a taxi? “Get one on the street.” Asked for help booking the dolphinarium since I had no local number? “You want me to use my number?” The dismissive attitude was shocking.||On day two, the electricity in my room failed. After a 30+ minute wait for maintenance, housekeeping skipped my room entirely. When I called six times and waited two hours, two cleaners finally arrived—only to wipe the toilets with a used towel from my own room. Absolutely unacceptable.||The final straw came on checkout day when my 67-year-old mother slipped in the lobby due to water leaking from the ceiling, falling on her stomach and face. No staff member offered help until I shouted for assistance. Their only response? “Is everything okay?”—no medical help, no concern, no action.||The only positives: a good location and a pool that anyone can access for a fee. Everything else—from cleanliness to service to safety—was far below Sheraton’s brand promise.||If you value hygiene, professionalism, and basic safety, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

TLDR; it's an old hotel with below average staff - avoid it if you can ||A very disappointing experience at the Sherraton at Batumi, tho the location is one of the iconic landmarks of the city, the hotel itself is quite old and run down. The hallways seem recently renovated - but the rooms need some investment. The staff also need proper training, because in my experience the service was a disaster. |At the time of check in - being a Gold member - usually we are recognised for our loyalty to Marriott, but here no one recognised anything! As we were a group of friends I asked to put on the same floor as my friends room or be given an upgraded room as a perk of my status. I was told that I am being given an "upgraded" room as it was the only other room in the property apart from the one I booked. When I went to my room to my shoch it was the exact same category as the one i had booked, and to make things worst it was smelling as if someone had smoked an entire pack of cigarettes in the room just before we came in. Tho it was a 'non-smoking' room. Neither was it the same floor as my friends room. So I went down to the reception, and a different but slightly more helpful lady was at the reception, who informed me that she will give me another room of the same category but on the same floor as my friends. Being exhausted and not in a mood to argue I accepted. When I went to the room, amazingly, it had a welcome note with my name on it. I guess it was the 'non-upgraded' room they had alloted to me in any case. They could've just given it to me when I asked for the same floor as my friends! This room too had stains all over the carpet and the shower was broken ! While taking a shower the shower head leaked and made it a mess everytime. When I informed the reception about it, their response was "that's unfortunate" - that's it ! No apology, nobody trying to fix anything, nothing ! Honestly one of the worst Marriott experiences I've had in a while. Save your money and go somewhere else!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, everything is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. I especially want to highlight the marketing manager, Megi, who was very kind and helpful from the very first day. Her professionalism and warm attitude made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I was 4 days there and waiting better service from sheraton, house keeper dosent full water and toilet kits, in restaurant in the bar ms.milento and chef kekha , leunardo and the Ms.Captain had great behavior and smile but others i said hello even they didn’t answer not good behavior unfortunately .
