Sheraton Batumi Hotel provided an exceptional experience. The staff was professional and welcoming, the lounge was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spotless, and the service was fast and efficient. What I found interesting and want to emphasize is that there was a unique sense of trust and respect for guests that is rarely found elsewhere. Highly recommended!🌹

I was not satisfied with the service provided during my stay. First of all, the reception staff was quite cold and seemed unwilling to assist. The air conditioning in my room was broken, and despite calling reception twice about it, no action was taken. The maintenance team never arrived, and I had to stay in a cold room. This lack of basic services greatly affected my stay. I hope the hotel management pays more attention to these issues and prioritizes guest satisfaction in the future.||Unfortunately, this hotel did not provide the quality and service I expected, considering both its brand and the prices it offers. In this review, the quality of the service it provided and its prices were far below my expectations.

Disappointing and Embarrassing Experience at Sheraton Batumi During our stay at the hotel for our honeymoon, we encountered an unforgivable incident: we left food we had purchased earlier on the table in our room, and when we returned, it was gone—stolen! The most infuriating part was the hotel staff’s lack of accountability. Instead of offering a proper solution or fair compensation, we were met with indifference and complete disregard. How can a hotel of this caliber fail to ensure the security of its guests’ belongings? This kind of experience is unacceptable even at a budget hotel, let alone one that prides itself on being a global brand. I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice—not only is your property unsafe, but the service is also severely lacking.

Great location, rooms very nice, the staff is professional and friendly. But BEWARE! The Sheraton Batumi HOTEL TAXI driver will CHEAT YOU. Not just a small, "tourist tax," but a full 10 times your original amount. The Sheraton Batumi Hotel concierge should be responsible for this FRAUD.

We stayed at Sheraton Batumi for 4 days in mid September.||It was a short drive from the train station (15mins) as we arrived by speed train from Tbilisi. The taxi cost 20 GEL.||The welcome at check-in was great and my Platinum status recognised by upgrading us to the highest available room category with panoramic sea views from every window.||It is worth mentioning that the hotel is currently going through renovation which is expected to take a while. All suites and the club lounge are unaccessible. All executive rooms however have been redone and they look almost brand new.||To make up for the lack of lounge, a small area in the ground floor restaurant is dedicated to status members. Soft drinks, sandwiches and fruit are available during the day and nice hot buffet plus alcohol (low quality) is available from 6pm. ||Outdoor swimming pool is available in a club across the street from the hotel and is a nice place to relax during the day.||Every Friday at 5pm, hotel does wine tasting for hotels gusts which is a nice touch.||One person who absolutely made our stay was their Operations manager Sinem, she always checked in on us, made sure we were well looked after and told us stories about the hotel and Batumi. This made it much more personable. She got to know us during the stay and helped personalise our experiences which was great.||One thing that lets this hotel down is the staff training, they shy away from customers and service is very inconsistent. This goes for service staff, cleaning as well as pool attendants. This is something that needs urgent attention to make it a 5 star.||Overall, we had a really good time, location is great and so are facilities. We would recommend the hotel to other travellers

Review for Sheraton Batumi Spa This review is specifically about the spa at Sheraton Batumi, not the hotel or the restaurant. I am very disappointed with my experience at the Sheraton Batumi Spa. On December 31st, 2024, I specifically asked if the 95 GEL spa entrance fee was valid for a single entry or for 24 hours. The receptionist’s unclear answer led me to believe it was valid for 24 hours, so I decided not to book a two-week pass for 240 GEL per person, which I would have preferred if I had received the correct information. It was already 6pm so I thought today at the evening and tommorow morning. When I returned on January 1st, 2025, and tried to enter the spa, the receptionist told me the fee was only valid for a single entry. When I explained the situation, both the receptionist and her supervisor were dismissive and unprofessional, insisting that the misunderstanding was my fault. Their attitude made me feel as though I was trying to deceive them, which was extremely insulting and frustrating. This experience was particularly disappointing because I had already subscribed to the spa for several months during the summer of 2024. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and respect. While they eventually allowed me to enter, the entire visit was ruined. It’s impossible to enjoy a spa experience after being treated so poorly, especially when it was my girlfriend’s first time there. If the staff cannot answer basic questions in English clearly, they should not be working at an international Hotel. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for a facility that claims to offer premium services. In general the Spa is really nice and I like to be there but after this situation, I will look also for an other option at Hilton or Radisson

The hotel was amazing, everything was great, the staff was excellent, and they really seem to want the customer to be happy. It was my birthday and they even sent me a birthday card and a cake! Thank you so much for the great hospitality!

I can’t express my anger enough — the hotel is charging extra dollar for everyday and in the invoice it comes out as “Charity Donation”. I have not been even asked if I am charitable person or if I want to donate money, they just charge you without even clarifying what the Charity Fund is for. ||||When I raised the question they where like, we can take it away, system does this automatically, as if it’s not their system charging my credit card I have trusted them with— what about asking me before charging so that I don’t feel like a piece of cake after I tell you that I have not signed for donations. ||||THIS IS CALLED STEALING.
