I try to comment fairly about this hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The good: Rooms are big with good view to the town and to the sea. staff are welcoming. when we asked for something, they sent it soon. no noise from adjasent rooms. beds comfortable. good shower. The bad: Breakfast is really disappointing. few delicious item is found with low varirty. No matter what temprerure you want, the room air conditiın is preset to 22 by hotel and sometimes we shivered from cold air in the room. the lobby was cold too. the cleaning staff wouldn’t clean the bath floor .the rooms were delivered at 3:40 instead of 2

Excellent location in the old city, couldn't ask for better. The front desk staff was very pleasant, helpful, prompt, and professional. Response time to a request from the room was in minutes. Special mention and thanks to Ana and Veronica at the front desk. The male staff were a disaster, disinterested, unhelpful, and bordering on rude. Rooms were perfect. Service 10/10, cleanliness spotless, and had all the amenities. However, the breakfast spread could definitely be improved and expanded. Good value for money

This was a good place to stay in Batumi. It is centrally located and has an excellent and helpful staff. A special shout-out to Mukhran, the fine young man in the executive lounge - smart, honest and hardworking. He has a great future with Sheraton/Marriott.

Avoid Sheraton Batumi – Serious Service & Safety Failures Stay: July 30 – August 5 I booked 3 Executive rooms expecting Sheraton’s premium standards—what I got instead was poor service, unhygienic conditions, and a complete disregard for guest safety. At check-in, I was told one room was upgraded to a suite with lounge access, confirmed by both receptionist and bellboy. The very next day, my access was revoked without warning and I was rudely told I hadn’t paid for it—despite the fact it was their upgrade offer. Staff communication was nearly impossible as no one spoke basic English. Guest assistance was non-existent. Asked for a taxi? “Get one on the street.” Asked for help booking the dolphinarium since I had no local number? “You want me to use my number?” The dismissive attitude was shocking. On day two, the electricity in my room failed. After a 30+ minute wait for maintenance, housekeeping skipped my room entirely. When I called six times and waited two hours, two cleaners finally arrived—only to wipe the toilets with a used towel from my own room. Absolutely unacceptable. The final straw came on checkout day when my 67-year-old mother slipped in the lobby due to water leaking from the ceiling, falling on her stomach and face. No staff member offered help until I shouted for assistance. Their only response? “Is everything okay?”—no medical help, no concern, no action. The only positives: a good location and a pool that anyone can access for a fee. Everything else—from cleanliness to service to safety—was far below Sheraton’s brand promise. If you value hygiene, professionalism, and basic safety, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

If you think you are booking a 5-star hotel, you are not. It is not a 5-star hotel. They do have the best outdoor pool, but it is not for the guests only. Anyone can enter for $30. Cons: There is no parking or wallet service, so if you are driving, you are screwed. No greeting, no language service, and the staff looks frustrated all the time. Our front desk person said NO to most of my questions, didn't put my card in the system so i could use room charge and blamed restaurants not giving him a call whenever we wanted a room charge. After 8 hours of driving, hoping for a simple parking, he told us, " Yeah, parking sucks here." I paid $700 for 2 night thou and had to look for parking for an hour. Also told me to look for a certain bank where they sell parking cards. You get an instant dollar coffee and 2 half and halfs only first night. You get 2 rough towels for 3 persons, no face towel, no toothbrush, and nothing that matches 5 or 4 stars. Pros: The pool is clean, and the breakfast is good. Long story short, it is ok if it was like $150 a room. I wouldn't pay a penny more.

Visited the casino and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming, especially for tourists. The staff showed little interest in helping or creating a pleasant environment, and it felt like we were being tolerated rather than welcomed. There are definitely better places to spend your time and money. Not recommended.

I travel a lot and have seen a variety of hotels around the world, therefore not biased in this review. I would like to sincerely thank Batumi Sheraton for a wonderful stay over 10 days of vacation. It was 18 hours trip for me to get to Batumi from the US. After a long trip I must say it’s worth every bit. The Hotel is indeed a 5-staff hotel. In my view, it is the best choice in town by accommodation, service level and location. The room we lived in was spacious and clean. Maids are just wonderful. Breakfasts are delicious and rich in variety to satisfy every taste (around $25/per person). Hotel facilities are great, gym, spa, outdoor and indoor pools are really spacious. As HR professional, I would like to specifically thank people who work there - the hotel management and personnel - for a top-notch guest treatment and keeping the standards above the bar. My sincere gratitude to Sinem, Operations Director, who is exemplary hospitality professional, warm and attentive to everyone. Teona is a gem, a dedicated professional, brilliant guest treatment, warm heart and communication. Teona just made our stay. Alexandra - thank you for being amazing! Reception crew, each and everyone, is incredibly supportive and friendly. Porters are caring and mindful of every aspect of service. Last but not least, amazing baristas - best Americano and freshly squeezed juices. Milena, many thanks to you for your diligence. Overall, my rating is 10/10 on every aspect. Wishing all the best and hope to come back! Best, Valeria

Stayed one night during our Georgia visit. Nice stuff; clean and well-designed rooms, open buffet breakfast and perfect atmosphere. Highly recommended!
