We booked this hotel for a three-night stay, trusting the Sheraton brand to deliver its usual standard of quality. I was initially surprised by how affordable the suite was, but upon entering the room, we were quite pleased with its spaciousness and amenities. Unfortunately, our experience quickly deteriorated.|Shortly after settling in, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working. When we attempted to contact the front desk, we realized the in-room phone was also out of service. I then called from my cell phone multiple times—only to be met with no response. When I finally reached someone, the conversation was abruptly cut short when the staff member hung up on me mid-sentence as I was trying to explain the issue.|I went down to the front desk to request assistance. The staff member I spoke with was the same person I had just been on the phone with—he recognized me, and I recognized his voice. When I mentioned the in-room phone issue, he dismissed it by saying I was clearly wrong because I had been able to call. I tried to clarify that I called with my cell phone. When I brought up the broken A/C, he again brushed off my concerns and passed me off to a junior staff member. I was told there was no technician available at 8 PM, and when I asked what they do in emergencies, I was met with silence.|I asked for an alternative room and was told the hotel was fully booked. I asked for any form of solution, only to be told that it was very hot outside and the A/C system couldn’t keep up—which is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Eventually, I was offered a one-night discount and told a technician would check the unit the next morning. I also requested that the manager contact me, as they were unavailable at the time.|Later that evening, someone showed up with two small desk fans and said that was all they could offer. No one followed up in the morning. When we returned late in the afternoon, I reminded the front desk again, only to find that nothing had been done. A technician was finally sent, who confirmed that the A/C was performing at its maximum—which was essentially not functioning at all. He was at least able to fix the phone.|No manager ever reached out to address our concerns or even acknowledge the situation.|On top of all this, the Wi-Fi was unacceptably slow—often taking over five minutes just to perform basic searches. For a modern hotel in a major city, that is simply not acceptable.|Frankly, this was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a Sheraton property. The lack of basic infrastructure, poor communication, and dismissive customer service were all deeply disappointing. Sadly, this stay has left us with no interest in returning to this property—or to any Sheraton-branded hotel in the future.
