I won't stay here again. ||Cons: I'm a long-time Bonvoy member, but couldn't use my mobile key because my reservation had been screwed up, and even after it was sorted out (I hope), the mobile key never worked.||I'm glad I wasn't driving though. Valet parking at the hotel was $70 per night. I don't know how much self pay parking would have been since it isn't advertised outside.||They didn't inform us that the place was undergoing construction. There was no regular restaurant though you could order room service. My room smelled really bad; mildewy and moldy and would knock me over everytime I came into the room. The desktop is not large enough to work on. The bathroom is tiny. There was rust and some type of paint scrapes or something in the tub and it wouldn't drain properly. When I would take a shower the tub would fill to beyond my ankles, and that made the floor of the tub slippery and dangerous. The towels were very rough. There are not enough outlets and no USB outlets.||The breakfast food provided at the conference was really pretty bad. The sign would say "cage free eggs," but they were clearly powdered or prepared. Only bagels were provided--no bread, english muffins, etc. There were tiny muffins, greasy bacon, and some fruit. Juices and coffee were provided for breakfast, but nothing but water was provided the remainder of the day.||Chicken was provided for the banquet and it was a fatty, rubbery mess and could not be eaten. The mashed potatoes had large chunks of uncooked potatoes in them. The rolls were good though. ||The walls and ceilings were thin and I could hear people walking around and talking in their rooms and in the halls. The staff in the hallway need to lower their voices. You could hear doors slamming all the way down the hall. The construction was very loud.||Be careful with the reservation. I changed mine. I even called the day before to make sure everything was ok because I received an email that concerned me. I was assured it was correct. I got there and they had two reservations for me, one of which had me coming in the day before (the one I cancelled) and I was charged a no-show fee. ||There were next to no cabs available. I only saw one, one time. Maybe that's a Boston thing.||The TV checkout was not working.||There was no robe in the room.||Lastly, the room has blinds--not curtains, so there is no way to blacken the room, plus light came in through the sides and bottom of the doorway. No nightlight was necessary because of this.||Pros: The staff was great. I got in very early in the morning and fully expected that I would not be able to get in a room (I had a redeye flight, and other passengers were inconsiderate and noisy on the flight so I was exhausted). But they were actually able to get a smaller room for me so I could get a room right away, but since it was just me it was adequate (note the small bathroom and smell above). ||Steven was the manager on duty who was helpful. He also stated that the no-show fee would be removed. So far, I don't see that specific charge, but I also have not received a statement and will have to call them to get it.||The blinds were broken in the room were broken but they sent an engineer right away and fixed it. The blinds were in the up position, and my window faced a building and a utility roof. I just couldn't tell if anyone across the way could see in the room.||The A/C was fully modifiable which is great. The refrigerator worked well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.||The hotel is attached to the Copley Place Mall and there is no need to go outside. It is connected to the Marriott and has upscale shops and plenty of places to eat. There's even a CVS inside.
