Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino

The Sheraton Casino Hotel is a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Cairo. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are incredibly soft. Having somewhere quiet and comfortable is the perfect antidote after a long day exploring the city. The Club Lounge is a nice perk if you have access. It’s quiet, offers a great selection of snacks and drinks, and provides a fantastic city view. A great spot to unwind. Service is attentive, and the coffee is great. On a clear day (which is not often) you can see the pyramids from the top floors .. although must confess my photos were taken with a good zoom lens.

Beautiful hotel! We had such. Pleasant staff and all staff members were very friendly! We had a room on the high floor so it was very peaceful and quiet when we were resting at night after a long day out. I absolutely enjoyed our view of the Nile River and you can see the Giza Pyramids in the distance! Highly recommend this hotel!

Let’s start from the beginning: You are greeted very warmly and have a wonderful view of the Nile River. The waiters are extremely polite, attentive, and not intrusive, as is often the case elsewhere. Everything is very well organized, clean, and the food quality is excellent. The homemade gnocchi were definitely the best I’ve ever had, even better than in Germany. I haven’t been able to enjoy such quality in various Italian restaurants. Therefore, I give five stars for the best gnocchi.||A special thank you goes to the waiter Mr. Omar Mohammed and Chef Mahmoud (Gnocchi Master Chef).||The manager, Abdelhamid, is also doing an excellent job and has built a great team.||Once again SUKRAN 🙏🫶🏼🎄

Good location walking distance to Downtown, close to Giza and on the Nile. The rooms are big and the view great over the Nile. Check-in and check out smooth. Breakfast buffet is ample and service is mostly efficient. Lovely team at the cafe near reception. Areas of improvement, although weather was chili it be nice if the pool was more looked after, some staff and ability to grab a drink. It felt all very dated and bland. Cairo is very laud so the space was far from relaxing as it’s on the lower floor. For the price it’s missing anything special, or of note. However also no complaints.

The service we received was excellent and the communication was top notch. We had some issues which they resolved or offered solutions immediately such as changing rooms because our shower was leaking water onto floor when we showered. Ultimately it was caulking around the glass to walls but they didn't do it. Our card also was hit and miss sometimes with our room. Otherwise the location is good, there is a currency exchange machine in the hotel. We did not partake in the buffet so we cannot comment on it. But the communication and service was excellent. Would recommend. Room was clean etc

Our stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino was absolutely fantastic! The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We especially loved the men who greeted us when we first entered and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. On our last night, we dined at the Middle Eastern restaurant (see food photos), and it was extremely good. We enjoyed our meal so much that the chef, Mohamed (I believe), came out to say hello and check on how we liked the food, which was a nice touch. The food was exceptional! Additionally, all our room service food was delicious and arrived quickly. The view from our room was beautiful, and the upgraded modern rooms were so nice and comfortable, with plenty of space. It was perfect for me traveling with my father, who is 68, as the room was large and ideal for our needs. The housekeeping service was very nice too. We always came back to a cleaned room, which was so nice after a long day, and they helped accommodate us with an iron swap because ours wasn't working properly. We also received a complimentary chocolate plate on our first night and fresh fruit baskets during the other days, which made our stay even more special. I also loved that there is a bank on-site, which was very convenient. Carol at guest services was so sweet and helped us by printing our boarding passes for Luxor. The customer service exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this hotel!

This was a GREAT place to vacation in Cairo. The location was on the river in view of pyramids from our balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived HOURS before check-in and they just went ahead and gave us a room. I was shocked! I will def. be staying here again in the future. I have no complaints, no suggestions for improvement. Everything was beyond my expectation.

A very cozy spot with a wonderful view of the Nile. The ambiance was delightful, making it a perfect place to unwind. The food was tasty and well-presented. The staff were attentive and friendly, especially waiter Omar, who made sure I felt comfortable despite dining alone. It was a lovely experience, and I’d happily visit again for the view, food, and great service.
