Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino

Everything about the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino is nearly perfect. From the breathtaking views from the towers to the smartly renovated rooms with a panoramic view of the Nile River, its perfect location in the heart of Cairo, and of course, the incredibly helpful and kind personnel! We decided to travel to Cairo in order to celebrate my wife's birthday and booked a room at the Sheraton with a panoramic view of the Nile River, located in the renovated North Tower. I highly recommend it! The room was spacious, featuring a balcony with a perfect view of Cairo and the Nile during both day and night. Also, everything inside the room was brand new, and the cleaning personnel did a great job every day keeping the room in a perfect state. Furthermore, I want to give an honorable mention to Mr. Mostafa Abdeltawab (Concierge Manager), who totally made our lives easier by making all the necessary reservations for us in advance regarding tours and restaurants. He was willing to help us from the very first moment we booked at the Sheraton and immediately replied to our inquiries. Last but not least, the lobby ambassadors helped me organize a little surprise for my wife with a sweet decoration in our room and a complimentary birthday cake. Just a minor setback regarding the breakfast, which could have been fresher and offered a greater variety of food. All in all, it was a great experience staying at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino, and I totally recommend it for a perfect, luxurious stay in the center of Cairo. Hats off to the fantastic hotel personnel who made our holiday very comfortable and relaxing—they are role models for other 5-star hotels.

This hotel was chosen by my tour operator, and we were very pleased. The hotel is large with great amenities. The room was spacious and well appointed. The service was amazing. Within minutes of arriving to my room, the attendant knocked on the door to check in on our needs. The restaurants are very good. I ate at the Italian restaurant and loved the view and the food. The large main buffet restaurant did a great job with breakfast. Recommend!

We spent 3 nights here in February as a base to visit the pyramids and new museum. We ate in the lobby bar, the Italian and Japanese restaurants. All were of high standard in terms of food and service. Bedroom and en suite spacious well stocked and comfortable. Rooftop bar a little breezy and cold but blankets supplied and staff very engaging. Obviously a great view. Changing currency at the bank on ground floor easy and convenient. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. And if you drink red wine try a glass of the Chateau de Granville.

Booked through Marriott Status: Titanium We had an excellent stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino. The concierge team reached out before our stay and we got private airport transfer for a reasonable price. They even had a cake ready for us in our room to celebrate our anniversary! The roundtrip transfer service was great! The service throughout the stay was exceptional- everyone we encountered was very friendly. The lounge was excellent all around - the food selection was great, lounge itself was huge with amazing views, and the staff was very friendly! Room service was priced very well and the food was excellent. We were upgraded to the ambassador suite in the south tower, which was massive! The room itself was a bit dated, but generally well maintained. The casino at the property was tiny and had a very small selection of games. They do have single 0 roulette, but their minimums were high ($10 chips, $50 minimum for outside bets). Not for casual gamblers used to Las Vegas in our opinion. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to be back!

We were traveling with a group of people and stayed here two nights before a Nile River cruise. Our room was large, clean and we had a fabulous view of the Nile. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was in the room.||The main restaurant had a great buffet breakfast, so much to choose from and an egg station. The food tasted fresh and was very good. We also ate at Gianni’s for dinner and enjoyed their pizza, salad and minestrone soup. And the price was very reasonable.||Lastly, every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend.

I am convinced back in the 80's, this hotel was considered to be the height of luxury. In 2025, most people would disagree. It's a good 45-minute walk to the main centre whilst other similar classes of hotels like Semiramis were much closer. Staff were polite, but the service was poor. The waiting time at checkin exceeded 40 minutes. It was noticeable that there were more staff on the other side of the counter, apologiesing to customers than actual check staff. The rooms were clean, but the design was old-fashioned. Large room but very small toilet lacking space to put things out. The hotel has two in-house restaurants, both were grossly overpriced, and the food was unremarkable. The gym was huge and well equipped, but I failed to understand why anyone wanted to stay in a hotel for a serious workout. The things that mattered, such as jukuzi and sauna, were tiny and dirty. The outdoor pool was more like a paddle pool. Overall, there are much better hotels available at a similar price point.

service was lovely through the whole hotel, the Italian restaurant was fantastic food was amazing. Saleh - Mohamed (our server) was incredible. Very thoughtful. Ate here every night! Room had everything you need very clean and nice view!

I’ve had an outstanding stay in the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean and the staff is exceptionally nice. The view from our balcony, overseeing the Nile river, is breathtaking. Also, I’ve had the best hotel breakfast ever owing to the waiter, Ibrahim Hosny. He recommended local delicacies that made my experience so much better. This was the first time I tried Egyptian beans and feteer - both amazing! Not to mention the fresh bread straight out of the oven. I felt like I had a personalized experience thanks to Ibrahim. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairo.
