Modern Rooms with a Few Service Gaps
The rooms here are excellent—the doors feel high-quality and "legit," and the lack of carpet makes the floors feel much cleaner. I loved the unique bathroom layout with the shower and toilet separated. However, the bidet could definitely be improved.
On the service side, the 24-hour housekeeping and van rentals are incredibly convenient. That said, I was disappointed during check-in; there was no effort to look for suite availability despite Expedia showing rooms were open. Also, a heads-up for the beach: it is very small and rocky, so swim shoes are a must.
Given the Sheraton name and this beautiful location, I expected a much more robust selection of on-site water activities. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. We rented three jet skis, but they are managed by a third party rather than the hotel; even though the staff were friendly, we had to wait over 30 minutes for them to arrive. Additionally, the pool and beach areas felt very cramped. The sun chairs are placed so close together that it feels crowded even on a normal day.
The breakfast buffet was actually quite decent and a good start to the day. However, both the in-room dining and pool menus felt a bit limited and basic. It would be great to see a few more creative or diverse options for those dining outside of the main restaurant.
While there is a bar on-site, be aware that the liquor selection is quite limited. Additionally, expect to pay a premium price for what is available—it definitely felt like you're paying an 'extra buck' for a very standard range.
