Great Bar With Excellent Service This place is really good. The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere feels comfortable. The customers are also very friendly and confident using English, so it’s easy to socialize and have fun conversations. You should go early, around 3 PM, because they have a really beautiful sunset. It’s the perfect time to relax with a drink and enjoy the view.

A truly delightful experience during our holiday family vacation. The excellent and warm service of all the staff is a big factor in our satisfaction. The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea, matching with its pool and beach amenities. Elegance and quiet luxury blended very well with the overall design if the hotel. The buffet, food selection, and service at 5 Cien is truly world class. A big congratulations to Chef Marcel Ramos and the whole team for elevating local dishes and ingredients for an exquisite dining experience.

The hotel offers a relaxing beachfront setting with beautiful free form swimming pools. It’s great that guests can borrow aqua shoes free of charge, making the beach more enjoyable as there are stones and it’s not all white sand. The staff were very friendly and helpful which added to a pleasant stay. Breakfast has a great selection of food. ||There were a few maintenance and service issues — towel racks were missing to hang face/hand towels, no bath mat was provided on the second day, and the bathroom switches didn’t work well. The Wi-Fi was unstable, and the poolside QR code ordering system wasn’t working although I could view the menu. The first room had small bugs on the bed. The staff quickly reassigned a new room when this was reported to them. Water kept leaking out from the shower booth on to the floor. A shuttle bus to nearby spots would be a welcome addition as the hotel is quite remote from shops and the nearby road is not pedestrian friendly.

I forgot to express my gratitude to the Marriott Cebu Mactan Resort — and they truly deserve it. I’m not sure if other large hotels or resorts offer the same, but Marriott Mactan actually has a nurse on duty 24 hours a day. (I wish I didn’t have to find that out the hard way!) When my son’s fever wouldn’t come down and fear started to creep in, the presence of that nurse truly kept me grounded. I want to sincerely thank not only the nurse who cared for my son, but also the hotel staff and managers who accompanied us to the emergency room — twice — and the concierge team who carefully packed and delivered all our belongings to the hospital when we couldn’t return to the hotel. Because of you, we were able to receive proper care and recover safely, even in a foreign country. That’s true hospitality. Thank you, Marriott! (P.S. I’m sorry I didn’t have enough cash at the time to give proper tips — next time, I’ll make sure to be extra generous!)

Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort is gorgeous -- modern, sleek, and immaculately maintained. Our room and the common areas looked brand new, and the resort's private beach is pristine with plenty of sun loungers and space to relax. What truly sets this property apart is the genuine warmth and professionalism of the team. From the first emails (they accommodated an early check‑in and arranged our airport transfers) to the door staff's friendly greetings, the efficient reception, attentive restaurant and bar teams, the activities crew who organised snorkelling, the vigilant lifeguards, and the prompt room service -- every interaction felt thoughtful and sincere. We also happened to be there when Cebu was struck by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake on September 30, 2025. The staff stayed calm, immediately implemented their emergency plan, guided guests to the evacuation area, and provided water and other essentials while keeping everyone informed. Their composure and care, all the way through to the all‑clear from engineers to return to our rooms, made us feel safe during a very stressful moment. I highly recommend Sheraton Cebu Mactan and will definitely be back. It's a beautiful resort run by people who truly care about their guests.

Two staff members from the 5Cien Restaurant went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. They were incredibly hospitable, efficient, attentive, and genuinely friendly, catering to all our requests with warmth and professionalism. We truly adored and appreciated both of them (I regret forgetting their names, but I’ve attached their photo).||We would also like to recognize Paolo from the gym, who greeted my husband and me with a refreshing welcome energizer as soon as we arrived. His cheerful service made our visit even more enjoyable.||If there’s one small suggestion, it would be about the gym view — it would be wonderful if the wall could be opened or redesigned to showcase more of the stunning water and nature outside. It would make the experience even more relaxing and inspiring.||Overall, our stay was terrific. Thank you, Sheraton Cebu Mactan team!

We stayed at this property two separate nights on our way in and out to island hopping. This property is beautiful, the food is great, but the staff are the shining stars here. From the Manager, Brenda, who came to meet us at check in, the rest of the front desk team, to the staff in each of the restaurants, this group of employees knows amazing service. Nino and team at the Buhi cave bar made some awesome custom drinks for us, and the food was great. The place had a great vibe with cool tunes going. We had dinner on our return stay at DIP, and the sushi was fantastic, the black cod was perfect, and the cocktails were very unique and delightful. The bartender even came to deliver them and describe his crafted concoction. The desert, a grilled banana with coconut ice cream. I am still thinking about it. The breakfast buffet was one of the most diverse and delicious buffets I have ever seen. If you can think of it, they probably have it. Fresh fruit smoothies, made to order omelets, noodle stations, a donut bar, a team of coffee baristas, and a team of staff that were always smiling. |I am a Titanium member, and they were able to get me the room I requested, which was very much appreciated! I highly recommend the rooms with the water view, they have spectacular views. We used their airport transportation service, and it was a great price, with clean cars and very professional drivers.

Our recent stay at the Sheraton Mactan Resort was excellent. We were very impressed by the pleasant service from the staff throughout the resort. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, which made the experience really enjoyable.||The resort itself is a beautiful and it should be maintained. We especially loved the great amenities, which provided everything we needed for a relaxing and fun vacation. Overall, we highly recommend the Sheraton Mactan Resort for a wonderful stay. I would like to commend the following for great personalities; Ramil and Jonathan both friendly. From the restaurant service, Randy, RoseAnn, Agnes, Honey, Myrthyl, Nim ru, Llyod, Glenn and Jhay and others i cant remember. Thank you’ll very much!
