Hey Yelp Fam! What's happening?! Back with another review, this time about my recent stay at the Sheraton Downtown Denver. And let me tell you, it was top-notch.
First off, let's set the scene. I was at this hotel for a solid 7 days--yes, you read that right, 7 whole days--for work. The fact that I'm giving it 5 stars after that marathon speaks volumes. Checked in on Thursday, the 21st, and the desk attendant was super friendly and helpful, giving me all the info I needed and even offering to link my stay to my account for points.
The room? Amazing. Spacious and perfectly suited my needs for the duration of my stay. I'm usually pretty picky about hotel rooms, especially cleanliness, but this one passed the test. I still brought my own supplies for a thorough once-over, but honestly, it was great. Being on the second floor meant I was close to everything--the tower, lobby, and the conference level where my organization had our conference.
Now, let's talk perks. Since my stay was covered by work, I had access to the Sheraton Club. Every morning, I'd swipe my card and be greeted with a hearty breakfast spread. The staff at the door and in the club were attentive and kind, making each visit a pleasure.
The overall decor of the hotel was stellar. I absolutely loved the vibe--bars, plenty of seating areas, you name it. The 16th Commons bar was a lifesaver for quick eats or a drink. And there were other spots like the café, Yarhouse accessible from the lobby, and Bezel, the cocktail lounge. Plus, there were pods and rooms you could reserve for work, and the lobby's large screens and TVs gave it a cozy feel.
Since it was a work trip, I spent most of my time on the concourse level. Perfect for our conference--the ballrooms and meeting rooms were decked out with the latest tech and had great lighting. The restrooms were clean, and the hospitality crew did an excellent job. And can we talk about the food? From breakfast to dinner, the staff knocked it out of the park.
Now, onto amenities. I hit up the laundry room which was a life saver and fitness center. I particularly loved the bikes in the fitness center--you could join a class and ride along with Peloton instructors. Talk about a workout with a view!
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the Denver area. It's within walking distance of everything you need, from restaurants to Target and downtown malls. There's even a FedEx store on the concourse level--talk about convenience. I'll definitely be adding this spot to my list for future visits to Denver. Huge shoutout to the staff for making my stay unforgettable.
