Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel

Located along the Corniche of Doha, the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort is not only outstanding in terms of its unique shape amongst Doha’s skyscrapers, but also for its grand atmosphere and timeless elegance! The daily sound of their piano simply adds to the elegance of the property!||I enjoyed an upgrade to a very quiet and spacious room on the 7th floor that was kept immaculately clean by the housekeeping service. I enjoyed a spectacular commanding view of the property, sea and Doha skyline! ||Dining at the Al Hubara was simply delightful! The buffet presentations were always beautiful and the food fresh and delicious. A refreshing first was having the Sous and Executive Chef often engaging diners, including answering questions about one or the other dish found especially appealing to the taste buds! ||To top it all off, my trip was made immensely memorable with the abundance of kindness and attention from staffers such Sajedha, Sana, Lijo, Nida, Bader and Faten. Also, not to forget your highly professional, knowledgeable and seriously cheerful Duty Manager Danish Khan who assisted me both at check-in and again at check-out and ensured together with the Head Concierge, Concierge Agent Nitik Parwani and Edmundo of Limousine Service, that I got my choice car for returning to the airport. To my delight, I found I was given a free upgrade to a beautiful BMW7!! Yes, I arrived Doha International in nothing less than Grand Sheraton style! Danish also personally arranged for my request for a very tasty cheese omelette to make up my "grab-'n'-go" breakfast package!||The Sheraton Grand Doha Resort is super value for money and I am really looking forward quite eagerly to my next trip, which will be just for holidays to soak up the beauty of the property, the views afforded from its rooms and its immense amenities! ||Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and staff, especially those I have mentioned, YOU ARE GRAND IN SO MANY WAYS!!||Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Our five-night stay exceeded all expectations. We regularly stay at Marriott properties, and this has truly been one of our best experiences to date. The service was exceptional throughout our stay, especially from the lounge manager, our room attendant Sanjib, and one of the breakfast waiters, Aymen. Everyone greeted us warmly and made us feel genuinely welcome at all times. Housekeeping deserves special mention: Sanjib and his colleague provided the best room cleaning we have experienced in all our years with Marriott. The room was always immaculate and perfectly maintained. The Lounge is, without question, the best we have ever experienced. For guests without Platinum status or above, we would honestly recommend upgrading, as it is absolutely worth it. Light snacks are available at lunchtime, but dinner is truly outstanding. Several freshly prepared dishes are offered every evening, all of exceptional quality and far superior to what we have encountered in European lounges. We have attached a few photos. Congratulations to the entire team for maintaining such high standards. This property offers excellent facilities, even beyond what we have mentioned — including a private beach, a heated pool, and complimentary bottled water. If we return to Qatar, there is no doubt about where we will stay

Returning to the Sheraton Grand Doha after almost 25 years was an experience filled with nostalgia, joy, and genuine surprise. My last stay was in 2000, and stepping back into this iconic property reminded me immediately why it has remained such a beloved landmark in Qatar. What makes the Sheraton Grand Doha truly special is its unmistakable 1980s charm — that original architectural character, the sweeping atrium, and the elegant lines that have defined Doha’s skyline for decades. It is one of the rare hotels that has managed to preserve its heritage while seamlessly integrating modern comfort. The result is a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both timeless and refreshingly authentic. The staff deserves special praise. From arrival to departure, every interaction felt sincerely welcoming, attentive, and polished. There is a wonderful sense of pride among the team, and it shows in the way they treat guests. My room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the views across the Corniche and the Arabian Gulf was a reminder of how perfectly located this hotel still is. Facilities remain excellent — the pool and beach areas are beautifully designed, offering plenty of space and a relaxed ambience. The dining options were as impressive as I remembered, with generous breakfast spreads and several venues that capture the hotel’s classic spirit. The hotel has kept its soul, its character, and above all, its warm hospitality.

Superb week at the Sheraton. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, who all knew what was going on. Tremendous range and choice of food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Two good hours tennis with both Alvin and Jeleardo on the indoor courts. The hotel exceeded our expectations.

The Atrium Lounge is truly exceptional and unique. The hostess, Rawane, is extremely friendly and pleasant, and her service is of the highest standard. I highly recommend visiting this place when you're in Doha. I personally keep coming back because of Rawan. I encourage everyone to interact with her and the entire team they are exceptionally professional, hospitable, and genuinely attentive. Fantastic hotel with first class service. Easy check in, lovely room and very professional service in the club lounge. Special thanks to housekeeper Ganesh for ensuring my room was beautifully cleaned and fully stocked with water every day. Will return soon.

A tremendous hotel experience in a wonderful location on the corniche in Doha. Comfortable rooms, great views from the balcony and a truly luxurious experience. Special shout out to Prem and his housekeeping team for the wonderful service in my room and the extra touches he provided on a daily basis.

We are returning guests to this hotel, and we enjoyed it once again tremendously. This is the first 5 star hotel in Doha, and you can feel its importance and history anchored deep within. The hotel has this charm, yet they keep carefully updating and renewing, hence, all is top-notch, yet it has this charm. We appreciate the attentiveness of the staff across the various departments of the hotel which is just outstanding, to name a few: Executive Lounge: Qayyum, Hazal, Suraj, Gita - thanks a lot for your fantastic service combined with a delicious food offering in the lounge all days we were there. Al Hubara restaurant: Lijo, Rajesh, Aye, Olya, Cheynived, Rayana and check Marouane - thanks for the wonderful service and the delicious food offering. We were welcomed by Dhylatov at reception and treated with a wonderful room (Rabina took good care of us). Overall, we enjoyed the time at the Sheraton and we will surely plan another visit.
