I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Doha from August 22nd to 29th, 2025 – and honestly, it was simply amazing!||Right from the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. At the reception, we were greeted by Rozana – and believe it or not, thanks to her love for Turkish TV series, she actually speaks better Turkish than I do 😉. With her warm and easygoing attitude, check-in was done in no time. The hotel itself has such a great vibe and a really pleasant atmosphere. My room was super cozy, spotless, and had everything I could wish for. The view was absolutely beautiful – perfect for relaxing.||The food was definitely one of the highlights! Whether at breakfast or dinner, the variety was huge and the taste spot on. Cleanliness, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. A special thanks goes to Yogesh at the restaurant – such a friendly and cool guy who always took his time for small talk and made us feel really comfortable. He even convinced me, as a Turk, to try tea with milk (yes, it was good – but nothing beats Turkish black tea 😄). Yogesh, if I ever come to India, I’ll bring you some Turkish tea!|And of course, Filip, the restaurant manager and Amina (Restaurant Supervisor): I was truly impressed by the way he leads his team – not like a boss, but more like family. He even serves and clears tables himself. That’s something you rarely see in Europe – my full respect for that!||The beach was another dream: fine sand, crystal-clear water – just perfect for switching off. A huge thank you to İsmail, Ajitlama, and Jeevan: every single day you prepared our sunbeds, checked in on us, and surprised us with chilled water, cold refreshing towels, and even Polaroid pictures as souvenirs. That was really the cherry on top – thank you so much!||A very special thanks also goes to Peter and the hotel management – you can really tell everything here is run with passion, heart, and true professionalism. And of course, to all the wonderful staff I had the chance to meet. I especially want to mention the reception team: Rozana, Anastasiya, Hamza, Mohammed, and Asel – you all made my stay even more enjoyable. And I’m sure all the other staff members I didn’t get to meet work with the same dedication and care.||Bottom line: An unforgettable week at the Sheraton that I can recommend to everyone. I’m already looking forward to coming back!||
