Sheraton Grand Los Angeles

We have had a great experience at this hotel. The staff have been so incredibly friendly. The M Lounge staff of Manuel and Christopher were so friendly and accommodating and the front desk workers were so nice and gave us so much information on things to do (Mr. Price and a young lady who we didn’t get her name 1-25-26). The room was nice and clean and the bed so comfortable!! We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s free breakfast was a disappointment. It was Saturday, and the hotel claimed breakfast was available until 11 am. We decided to dine at the restaurant, but we were met with a long line. The front desk lady, visibly upset, informed us that the kitchen was closed and there was no more breakfast. Her tone was condescending, as if we were poor people taking advantage of the free breakfast. We left and bought breakfast from across the street. If the restaurant or hotel can’t afford to offer free breakfast, they shouldn’t.

The hotel rooms are old. The air con rattles and turns off middle of the night. Room walls are thin can hear farts, sex noises, people talking. Paid parking on site. There is a resort fee on top of the city tax, on top of accommodation. It ain't cheap. There is an exec lounge, the food sucks and alcohol isn't free. If you've got Marriott standing you get $15 food credit daily. Nice to grab free water. Across from gym. The lounge is closed on weekends so you get your breakfast downstairs. Buffet is no better than a Hampton Inn. So don't get excited. Also a bar that is decent. Bartenders are friendly and cocktails were good (pricy). Housekeeping does a top job. The exec lounge attendants are super. Shout out to Chris! Receptionists, a bank of them, need training. And attitude shift. Most useless unfriendly bunch. Valet and security are super guys. Appreciate their presence as DTLA, you've got homeless and crazy that roam around. It's dodgy for women alone. The Bloc also has their own security. So the hotel is in a decent area with doors opened into the Bloc. You don't have to wander out too far to get a bunch of food chiices, hair, nail, even last minute emergency shirt or jacket at Uniqlo. 1 block up is Whole foods to stock your mini fridge and CVS for your sundries. It's a good choice if you need to be in DTLA.

I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles for a weekend trip and had a wonderful experience overall. The only drawback was that the Club Lounge was closed during the weekend, which was a bit disappointing given this was a leisure weekend stay. That said, it didn’t take away from the many positives of the hotel.||The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city. The staff throughout the property were consistently welcoming and attentive, which gave the stay a very personal feel.||I’d especially like to commend the wait staff at The District. Their service was thoughtful and genuine, and one lady in particular stood out for her exceptional attention to detail. She truly elevated our dining experience and embodied the spirit of hospitality.||The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and a perfect retreat after busy days exploring the city.||Even with the lounge closed, the combination of the hotel’s prime location, the professionalism of the staff, and the comfort of the accommodations made this a memorable stay. I would happily return and recommend the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles to others.

The hotel feels very luxurious, and we were upgraded to a corner room with a great view. The room was excellent. The sofa was long, very comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. The bed was also very soft and comfortable. The hotel offers umbrellas for a $30 deposit, which was extremely convenient, especially on rainy days. We did take out for our breakfast every day from District and used the dining credit provided. The food was good, warm, and enjoyable. The only downside was Saturday morning, when the line was extremely long and the wait was almost 30 minutes. Most of the staff were excellent and very helpful. However, there was one older female front desk staff member who was not helpful when I first asked about borrowing an umbrella and insisted there were none available. Later, my husband asked another front desk staff member, a white male, who was very kind, apologized, checked properly, and found one for us. He was excellent and also very helpful during check-out. Another front desk staff member who assisted us at check-in was also outstanding, providing detailed information and great support. Shoutout to these two staff members. Overall, the room quality, service, and facilities were excellent. The only minor drawback was some street noise, even on a high floor, with occasional sirens, but it was manageable.

This swanky hotel offers great service and well-designed rooms. I had an eastern-facing room on the 18th floor with an incredible view. The only downside was the room being a bit dusty, with dust near the TV and backdrop area. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant, and the hotel is conveniently located near some fantastic restaurants.

Their welcoming approach made guests feel comfortable and well taken care of, setting a positive tone and a great start to the day.||||They thoughtfully prompted guests before clearing tables and before the breakfast line closed, and ensured that the food was consistently replenished. Their professionalism and attentiveness left a very good impression.||||Special thanks to Christopher, who was always smiling and approachable, adding a personal and uplifting touch to the overall lounge experience.

I am very pleased by this hotel! It’s definitely very pretty and the rooms are clean and spacious! Receptionists are very friendly and easy to talk to. The only thing I didn’t like it’s that it’s valet only.

The hotel is still nice. Currently the gym is closed, so you get access to either LA fitness or golds gym. The lounge is still nice with incredible views of the downtown area. The suites in the hotel are pretty nice. Elevator pads to type in numbers are faulty and don't work that well anymore. They need to update that. Old review from 2022: My friends and I stayed here several nights recently. The price is very reasonable for the grand of a venue. IMPORTANT: The valet can only do cars under 6 ft tall!!! The Audi Q5 we were driving was just too tall to fit, so we had to move to the oversized self parking garage a street over. As of Jan 2022, the hotel requires proof of vaccination against COVID for gym access. The gym is accessed by making reservations at front desk. The elevators are nice - you can punch in your floor and the screen tells you which of 4 elevators to use. The rooms are fancy and modern. The gym is amazing, a semicircle of floor to ceiling windows on the top floor gives an incredible view of the city as you do cardio. If you have status with Marriott, you get $30/day per person credit to use on food at restaurants or the small store in the lobby. And it stacks, meaning if you forget one day, you can stack it with another on on another day. You can imagine 4 of us with 5 days of credit can lead to an almost $1000 budget to use at one time! One issue is that we specifically asked for no housekeeping, however housekeeping came while we were away to clean. Staff said they don't know why that happened. Overall, 4 star hotel, mainly due to it not being clear on the website that valet is only for cars under 6ft, and for the non-requested housekeeping.

This hotel is in the heart of LA! Beautiful architectural work. It has a restaurant that opens around 5p and offers various dishes. Nice comfy rooms and just a nice peaceful place to unwind after a long day. If ever in the area give them a try.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand in Los Angeles and had the pleasure of being assisted by Lance, one of the bellmen. From the moment I called the front desk, Lance exemplified exceptional service. He promptly arrived at my door with a cart, ready to assist with my luggage. Lance was courteous, professional, and had a friendly demeanor that immediately made me feel welcome. His customer service skills are outstanding, and his promptness and reliability were much appreciated. Even though it was my first time meeting him, Lance made a positive impression with his attentiveness and willingness to help. Overall, Lance contributed significantly to my positive experience at the Sheraton Grand. I highly recommend his service to any guest staying at the hotel. Staying in downtown Los Angeles? You can't go wrong with the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles downtown. Comfortable hotel with a chic lobby bar. Beautiful deck and great Sheraton club floor. Fitness center has a beautiful panoramic view of the city. Walking distance to everything in downtown LA. Parking is valet only but quick tip if you want to park across the street there's a lot you can go to for 30 a day instead of 55 per day.

Not sure why this hotel has such a low or average rating. I've stayed here a few times and it's a good hotel - clean, good location, decent restaurant. I've stayed in the area at another hotel which was way older feeling. This hotel has been fine for our quick overnight LA stents.

The lobby is impressive. The location is right downtown and convenient to the Arena. It is right next to an open air shopping center, and our stay was during the holidays. Even 12 floors up, I could hear Mariah every hour, on the hour until about 11. Just so you know. The elevators are a bit weird, you scan your card and it tells you what elevator to go in to take you up. We were not the only ones who needed a bit of direction. Once you get into the room, it is a pretty standard Sheraton. Though one side of the mirror, the lights were going out and made getting ready in the morning a bit more difficult.

I had the best experience here. #1 the bar staff was amazing. Especially Nick. He was so helpful and sweet. The room was super clean. Food was bomb but a little weird but in a good way.

I typically love Sheratons. And while there was a lot going on at this Sheraton, overall it was more of a like than a love type experience. I arrived a bit early and the staff worked to get a room ready as quickly as possible. It was a busy time and I understand not having a room immediately ready as I was early, unfortunately, they did not notify me once my room was available. As such, I ended up waiting until I saw several folks arriving later and immediately being given a room. Odd, but it does happen. The rooms themselves are solid. I felt I had all the space I needed and loved the complimentary bottles of water. You could also tell the staff took pride in keeping the rooms clean. The layout was a bit odd. They had a small bar in the lobby, however, a bigger bar and restaurant was located downstairs. The elevator required a key card to go anyway and you had to pre-set your destinations, which was great for security, but confused a lot of folks. If you happened to hop onto a elevator, say because someone else had called one, there would be no way to pick another floor and you'd have to go along for the ride. I figured it out, but during my 2-day stay several folks did not as I saw them riding along. I really do not know LA well, but felt the location was good. Easy access to the E line and a short walk to some fun looking locations. Overall a hotel I'd recommend, just not as strongly as other Sheratons I've been to. Enjoy your stay!

Staff working slow, but every time charging for everything, pushing for tips, beautiful place but employees so bad. Not everyone. Will not stay here anymore

i have stayed here several times whenever i am in dtla area. this location is pretty good since a lot of foot traffic. the bloc is connected to this hotel. sugarfish is like 2 min walk. marugame is super close too. however, there are homeless people around. but that is nothing new, it is dtla. hotel is def clean. i love the elevators here too. i like how it is never cramp since need to type your floor then swipe your card so then itll tell you which elevator to take. so not that many people crowded on the same elevator that just arrived. i wish the front desk staff is consistent when it comes to customer service. some are super nice, friendly, accommodating. some are just indifferent. i haven't been in this hotel in maybe a year so i forgot about the $25 daily credit. i didn't find out until the day i had to check out. so that was super annoying. also at check in, i asked for bottle water (it is marriott, complimentary) but the guy was like that'll be in your room. it wasn't. this is a pet friendly hotel for a fee. valet is $55. i am thinking for next time, i might try a different hotel in dtla.

Not very accommodating couldn't even park my luxury suv in their structure. I had to pay offsite various times just to leave the hotel to explore the city. The food was good but all round downstairs it would smell like marijuana in the lobby and valet area not sure if that's where people smoke drugs . The attendants did not know where to tell people where to park if you have an oversized vehicle . Had good reviews but not that much of a great

What a wonderful way to treat myself on a last minute solo trip to DTLA! I had random Sheraton reward points sitting on my account and decided to splurge on a location that was close to an appointment I was flying in for. Overall great service and seamless stay. My room was gorgeous, and I felt classy coming back "home" each night. I'll probably never stay here again (it's relatively expensive) but I'll certainly be dreaming about it.

I enjoyed staying at Sheraton Grand. Valet is a bit pricy but that's to be expected so I can't complain. Check-in was easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and clean. My favorite thing about it was that its walking distance to Sugarfish. We love that we can just over for dinner there.

Ambiance is cozy and modern. Service is phenomenal. I wasn't expecting to be able to check-in early however they were able to help accommodate my request in a very smooth manner. The rooms are nice and clean, with a lovely interior. Honestly can't complain about my stay. So far, so good. Would stay here again.

Stayed there over the July 4th weekend for Anime Expo. Despite how busy things were the staff was truly excellent and a joy to work with. Our room was spacious and kept immaculately clean. The location of it makes it super convenient for food, shopping, and getting transportation. One of the absolute best hotel stays I've ever experienced. Would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand in Los Angeles because it was cheaper than the Intercontinental nearby. I was given room 2111, which came with 2 queen beds, 2 complimentary bottles of water, and a mini fridge. The TV greeted me with my name on the screen and the view (mainly of rooftops) went pretty far. There is no swimming pool in the hotel, but they do have a nice outdoor lounge on the 3rd floor and a spa. The best part of the hotel is the 26th floor. The 26th floor has a workout room open 24 hours with amazing views day and night of the city. Their treadmills have screens that allow you to watch tv, surf the internet, follow scenic trails while you run, or play solitaire. They also provide water, fruit, towels, and ear plugs in the workout room. The other half of the 26th floor is the breakfast and happy hour area for people who hold a certain level of membership in their club. Their breakfast included hot scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, yogurts, fruits, cereal, croissants, pastries, coffee, tea, and more. Their evening reception included snacks, cheese, and charcuterie meats, and more. Some of the unpleasant things on my stay - the TV in my room had a very hard time receiving channels. Many of the channels would take a very long time to load or it would not load at all. The safe in my room was not working. No one from house keeping made my room or refilled the water. No breakfast for the general customers. No pool. Using the elevator was EXTREMELY difficult. You have to type in the floor you are going to first, then swipe your card. Many times I hit the "2" button one time but it showed up two to four times on the screen. It was always frustrating having to use the elevator. There are no bathrooms on the main floor. Many people on the streets outside the hotel asking for money. More on the positive side, the hotel is connected to a small shopping mall that houses Macy's and Marugame Udon. Although the rooms do not have a microwave, there is a microwave in the lobby. The 26th floor was a nice highlight unless you don't exercise or are part of their club. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and provided good service.

One of my favorite hotels to book while I'm in Los Angeles! Right in the heart of LA. Coming into the hotel I was greeted by valet , and handled my things while I checked in . The staff were so sweet and upgraded my room. (wheelchair accessible) The hotel was so spectacular, my favorite place to hangout was definitely the outside lounge area. They had a bar out there as well ! Breakfast there was a must (:

I was walking down hope street and I took a break to sit and fix my makeup on the South Stairs exits OUTSIDE of the hotels established frontal part of the building when a working employee from the Sheraton whomever was wearing glasses had dark brown curly hair with a lengthy slender profile walked over to ask me to sit at the stairs in the front part outside of the lobby where the entrance was instead. I asked if I could sit a step lower since he was "concerned" for my safety if the door were to open and hit me. The employee replied head nodding affirming I could then I moved a step down. He then changed his mind telling me how he wanted me to completely relocate oddly. I reminded him of the previous understanding and he refused to leave no matter what watching me pack my makeup in my hand, grab my purse I told him I could depart without his escort not a problem. He told me he wouldn't leave until I relocated my seat, that he was doing his "instructions". Mind that I was there for 2 minutes at the most along quietly reapplying my facial cosmetics. I said he was doing a terrible job making me feel uncomfortable. Very good I'm glad to write this review and make a yelp for others who need to inform employees how communicate body language and manners based on gender specific to case by case scenarios based on empathy using consciousness mindfulness to improve dynamic in the work feild; this would make a better environment for any customer or potential consumer nevertheles...

I was upgraded to a suite with no additional cost and the room was beautiful! The room service is absolutely incredible at the Sheraton, specifically Gladis! She was so helpful and kind. Made my experience so much more special and enjoyable. Hope to see her again at my next stay!

Super nice Sheraton. The rooms are clean and nice. The lobby is super nice complete with a small bar. There's valet parking which is about $50 a day so be prepared for that if you drive in. The location is good and we were able to walk around for a bit and look at the nearby shops and restaurants. Only con was there's no pool. We came prepared with bathing suits just to realize that there is no pool here so that was really disappointing. The hotel is attached to the District Restaurant which is where the room service is from. It's not the best food so be warned, you'll probably end up eating out often. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Needed a hotel that was fairly close to Microsoft Theater. This one is a 15 min walk away from it. The hotel is also connected to "The Bloc" shopping center (Macy's, Uniqlo, Lululemon, etc.). When I arrived at around 10 pm valet parking was full. As recommended by the valet staff, I parked in the public parking garage that's right around the corner from the hotel. Room check-in was quick but the gentleman didn't really explain the digital elevator system well (had to get help from the nearby security guard). The king room was spacious. Comfy bed. The towels here could use a replacement though as they all felt like sandpaper. What I REALLY wasn't too fond of was the lack of sound barrier. My room was right under the open space area of The Bloc and I could hear the music blaring from there even at midnight. Also, a recent reviewer wasn't kidding about hearing lovemaking noises. I heard some too from the room right next door. That definitely kinda killed my stay experience here lol. Pretty hotel (especially the lobby) but overall I suggest looking for another hotel in the area.

The funny thing about the Sheraton Grand for me is that I literally would pass by this hotel almost everyday while going to lunch....well, back when we weren't all working from home and I had to go into the office at DTLA. So why exactly did I decide to stay here when I literally live in L.A.? Well, we had a show in the Chinatown area that spanned a few days and I didn't really have the desire to drive back home after. A combination of the hotel being right over the 7th Street / Metro Center stop and my friend recommending it from his previous stay was the reason I ended up choosing the Sheraton Grand over my preferred JW Marriott. This was legitimately the definition of a last-minute booking, as I did not book the hotel until 3 am the day of check-in. But it helped knowing that I was practically guaranteed a suite upgrade with my Titanium Elite status. Not gonna lie, this room impressed me much more than I thought it would. They put us on the floor right below the top floor, so we got a pretty high up view of L.A.'s sprawl that I'm way too familiar with since I've worked in DTLA for a long time. Room itself was a lot nicer than I was expecting. The hotel has been around for a while, but the room has definitely been renovated and it shows. Very spacious and comfortable living room area that allowed for me to host quite a bit of people. The bedroom had a nice, comfortable bed as I would expect from any former Starwood property. Slightly disappointed the shower wasn't a walk-in, but overall it was nice. Staff here was nice, no complaints from me on this. They confirmed the suite upgrade upon my arrival, as expected. They also provided the extra requests that I usually make (extra blanket and more soap) pretty quickly. Location is hard to beat. As I mentioned previously, the main reason that I ended up going with the Sheraton Grand was that it was right over the 7th Street / Metro Center stop, which made it easy to go around DTLA on the Metro (yes, we do have a subway). Other than that, it is within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, sights to see, Staples Center, etc. Parking is the main issue for this hotel. There's no dedicated parking lot here and valet parking is $54. Because I obviously work in the area, I know the parking lot I use for work is $8 per day on weekends, which ended up being clutch as it was probably the cheapest parking going around...right until we checked out on Monday and had to pay $35 for that day's parking. Meh, still cheaper than if we had parked at the hotel's offsite parking. There is a gym here, but I never used it. Overall, I thought the Sheraton Grand was a rundown, old hotel that I really had no desire to stay in. But it turns out to actually be pretty nice! Definitely accomplished the goal I had for staying here and wouldn't mind another go-around should the situation require a stay downtown.

The only reason I am giving a 3 star rating is because Hotel was absolutely stunning and clean. Absolutely Marvelous when you walk in with Marble flooring and walls. Room was clean as well, did find hair in shower, not a big deal. But....my issue is with the billing. It's going on 2 weeks now I have not received my hotel deposit back. When I called billing they say it can take several days. I'm highly upset most hotels I've stayed at have given it back within 5-10 business days. Don't think my friends and family will be staying here again if our money doesn't come back in a few days. Great location a lot of walking distance restraints for quick and easy food. The down side is you have to pay for valet or risk your car being broken into. You would think they would offer that for free knowing the location you're staying at

Absolutely loved my stay here! The bed is super, super comfortable. I don't recall any bed at an hotel being that comfortable. Definitely will stay here again. Spacious room, loved the lighting in the bathroom, and the breakfast was good.

Im only giving a 2 because their wifi works consistently, and the place isn't actively gross. My BIGGEST issue: THEIR HORRIBLE ELEVATOR. They tried to do a thing where your room card scans you in, and you have to type in your floor, and it'll take you in. Inside the elevators themselves there are no buttons for you to pick your floor. This wouldn't be a huge issue, except that the scan pads DONT WORK 75% of the time. It's the most frustrating thing in the world, when all you want to do is take your things and put them upstairs. Half the time the scan pad will either not register what you're punching, or it'll double the number you enter. There ends up being a huge line to the elevators, since everyone has to individually scan their card to be taken to their floor, AND THE PADS DONT WORK. Getting to the room, and finding someone else's hair on the bathroom floor, and a coffee machine that spills water when it's not even halfway filled. Just overall, not a great experience. It could be fixed with just a more thorough cleaning, and get a regular dang elevator guys. You're trying to be too clever, and it's just time consuming and frustrating. FINAL NOTE: as I left i ran into a picket line of workers striking the Sheraton. So clearly, not fair to their workers either.

Watch for the extra costs which I was told was resort fee, which is $25 that needs to be used within the 24 hours of the day of check in, and then the reception said the $25 can be used in the restaurant and drinks. Upon check out, the bill stated destination fee $25 + occupation fee $3.50. This is extra charges, besides the cost of the hotel room. There is a parking fee of $54 which is billed to the hotel with valet service, or the other option is self park at Macy's for $44 per night. The hotel is located in a sketchy part of downtown. I do not recommend this hotel with the extra costs. I booked through Priceline and was disappointed at the hotel's lack of transparency.

Stayed here for one night over the weekend. Great location, right next to the mall so there is shopping and food nearby! The hotel is pet-friendly so I brought my dog ($75). You get a lot of good perks with your stay so it definitely pays off. The only issue was the elevators. Half of them were broken, so being on the 19th food was not ideal!

The location of this hotel is convenient to where I need to be to visit family that lives nearby. It's located in Downtown LA and it's got a few restaurants within walking distance.

Marco was the best thing, I'm start there. He did everything he could do ensure my burger was made correctly but the chef could not make a well.dome burger correctly. But if you drink, Marco, the bartender at the restaurant downstairs makes it all better!! The fish tacos he recommended were great. Never had those before! Delightful for first timers. Horrible from beginning to end. A huge Marriott fan and was completely let down by the entire situation. Was there two nights for sons USC graduation and needed a nice place to stay close by. Too much detail to get into but in short the process from check I. To check out two days later was a let down. The staff there seems completely disorganized and not very helpful, except the technicians who had to fix the hot water situation. Do not recommend this place at all.

It was my first time staying at the hotel and when I stepped into the lobby it was glorious. The detail of the lobby, staff welcoming, and the luxurious smell just gave me a pleasant feeling. Checking-in was smooth and we got a complimentary upgrade for being a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member. Our room was nice with comfy king size bed with a long couch. We purposely booked a hotel to have a mini photoshoot for my bridal shower and the Sheraton Grand was the perfect fit. Overall, we had a nice stay and I would love to come back anytime.

Francis at the front desk provided exceptional service. We arrived very late due to a late flight. We checked in online but requested a room on a higher floor and Francis gladly granted our request. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The water wasn't hot on the first night but was a good temp the next morning. Perfect location for Crypto Arena, LA Live and shopping - all within walking distance. The area is pretty safe, so no major concerns there. There is a $25 per day destination fee, but we were allowed to spend it the hotel. Overall, very pleased with my stay.

Sheraton Grand Los Angeles is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I have been staying here for over 1 1/2 years now while I commute to school and it has made my experience so much better. When walking into the hotel and being greeted by the staff to the easy checking in process. Not only is the hotel welcoming with the staff but when I am in my room I feel like I am at home. Every time I enter my room I feel at home and comfortable. My favorite part of the hotel is the Club Lounge. I got access to the club lounge around 1/2 a year ago and it has changed my experience of hotels forever. I love that I am greeted by Lupita and Miguel and they are always kind and there to help. I have been able to get work done in the lounge and most important enjoy a great snack after school or breakfast the next morning before class. I am also so happy the lounge just added the newest coffee machine because i am big on coffee! Overall I love the Sheraton Grand and recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying.

As usual. we had a great stay at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles. We really like the location which is convenient to many downtown attractions. We felt safe walking in the area and the attached shopping made it easy to grab a coffee or gelato. Lots of various food options nearby at all price points including a grocery. Both a refrigerator and coffee maker in the spotless room. We also had a lovely time chatting with mixologist Andrew at the Lobby Bar while enjoying some of his libations. A really fine place for a weekend couples getaway.

Since they refuse to properly pay employees, Their business has become a constant nuisance for the entire neighborhood. I could not recommend staying literally anywhere else in the city more.

Great looking lobby, and awesome location. The lobby area has two openings - one goes direct to the valet/street for ease of getting dropped off/picked up quickly and the other door on the other side of the lobby goes straight to the shopping center/Macys in DTLA. The elevators require a keycard to avoid unsavory elements from getting upstairs, but calling an elevator car can sometimes be a bit complicated if you aren't paying full attention or on a phone call or something. The rooms themselves look pretty modern and are furnished really nicely. The rooftop is accessible on the 3rd floor, and it turns out the roof area is great for taking photos!

Great hotel, location, and service. Stayed here twice and so far no complaints. I love the views and how you have a shopping center below walking distance. Only thing I don't like is they charge you $50 for valet every night. Even if you're staying at the hotel it just seems over priced.

I was skeptical at first because some of the reviews, but I am glad I chose this hotel. It was beautiful. In a great location. The only negative was no pool, but had a beautiful outdoor space to accommodate. Located within walking distance of food, Target and multiple shopping centers. Beautiful gym overlooking the city skyline.

I stayed in the basic room with a king size bed. The room was nice, modern, and clean. My room was facing the bloc. It was a beautiful view of the buildings. It both nice in the daytime & at night. I really enjoyed how conveniently the hotel is located to many of the places I was visiting. It's only 2 or 3 blocks from FIDM. And I love how the subway was right downstairs. This made it easy to get to union station with a suitcase and bags. The room was a nice size. The bed and pillows were comfy. I feel asleep quickly. The blackout curtains are true and will keep your room dark. It was quiet on my floor. Sometimes I felt as if I was the only one because of this. I didn't like the lights in the bathroom. It was beautiful but the failed to think of a woman staying here and needing to apply makeup. There was one spotlight but it was over the toilet. They should add one more spotlight over the sink/mirror.

02.15.2020 Hubby had the LA Firecracker Bike Ride so we stayed here. We arrived before dinner and enjoyed the Evening Reception on the 26th floor for appetizers. They served pork chimichangas, hummus, crudités, flatbread, cold cuts, sweet treats (brownies, cookies). There were sodas, waters and a fancy coffee machine. Little O and I returned the next morning for the Continental Breakfast. There were boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, breakfast potatoes, French toast, oatmeal, pastries, breads/bagels, yogurt, cut up fruit, juices, milk and the fancy coffee machine. The attendants in the Club were very friendly and attentive. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Great views of downtown as you sat and ate appetizers or breakfast. The elevator situation is a different story=2 stars Maybe because it was a busy weekend for the hotel but it took forever at times just to catch an elevator down from the club floor/fitness room. We enjoyed being adjacent to The Bloc shopping area and were able to shop and grab some food while waiting for hubby. We did Valet parking. Holy $52!!! Not aware there was self-parking or I guess we could've parked at a lot across the way. ‍ Something to remember for next time. The room was comfy and clean. Aside from listening to the alarm clock next door ringing at 10:00 pm for almost 30 minutes. ‍ It was quite roomy for three of us. Rooms were upgraded and modern. A great location for downtown LA adventures! Sorry no pics of the room or Club Lounge or anything. ‍

I have never stayed at this hotel before but it looked beautiful from the outside. We got there, in our car waiting for valet for 10 minutes no one greeted us and the door to get into this hotel needs a room card to be unlocked... Someone finally comes and they don't apologize for the wait, introduce themselves they rudely order us that we have to check in first in order for the valet to take our car. How would we know that? It's our first time here The other valet guy was staring watching this all happen We had a marriot explore discount and we had to go to the computer and print it out ourselves, isn't it the front desks job to do that? Also no one picks up the phone Then we check in and the elevators here are unconventional. The rooms are beautiful though. Not worth the hassle. They need to do better.

I have been to many hotels and this one was by far my favorite. Not only do they have amazing customer service checking in and out, but the rooms... they are very spacious and somehow feels like staying in a bedroom and not in a hotel, if that makes sense. Will be returning and recommending. Thank you Sheraton Grand LA

A great hotel to stay when you're in DTLA, slap down in the middle of hope street. Nothing beats a warm welcoming bed with down sheets. What a great stay!

This is not a 4 star experience. They obviously don't pay their staff well because they are outside making this obnoxious noise while on strike. My son has autism and this noise was sensory overload for him. Then we leave the room and they don't make the beds or give you fresh towels. We went downstairs to let them know what happened and they simply said we don't have enough staff and we don't have anymore towels. I paid 4 star money and expected a 4 star experience, but only got a 2 star experience. I would not recommend this place. Maybe they're better when they aren't on strike, but they should either lower their prices or offer guests some type of voucher or something to make up for where they are lacking. And pay your staff.

My favorite hotel in downtown LA (outside of LA LIVE). The rooms are always nice, and they have a GORGEOUS deck in the third floor and a nice 24/7 gym. The hotel restaurant (The District) is phenomenally delicious, too!

Despite some of these negative reviews my husband and I enjoyed our Valentine's Day stay. This hotel is not brand new, an upgrade wouldn't hurt BUT it's still a good place to stay for the price. Our room was clean, didn't smell or feel dirty, the floor was quiet and BONUS the window opens up (slightly) to get some fresh air! Also the staff was friendly and Miguel upgraded our room to have a better view. The only downside is the 54 dollars for "valet" parking, we parked our own car in the underground garage I'm assuming due to covid. 7/10 would recommend. Yes, the lobby is beautiful.

I liked staying here. Overall the experience was good, the room service food was AMAZING. We got the corner suite which was huge. I worked out of the room and the accommodations were optimal to work out of. I would have given this experience a solid five star...

My hubby and i stayed here for 4 days due to his work. Its centrally located in dtla. Restaurants and stores like Macys's and Uniqlo is a few steps away. Accessible to public transportation like the metro and bus stops too. Staff were nice and courteous. The hotel is newly renovated. Security is good. You need your key card at the unguarded main entrance and before you board the elevator (as there are no floor buttons inside). So you feel safe and secure. There is no swimming pool but they have a nice deck at the 3f with cabanas and lounge chairs. The room was spacious and with nice clean and modern interiors. I love the work/dining table and bench like chairs. It has a coffee maker and mini refrigerator but no microwave. Parking is $40/day or you can park at parking structures close by. Overall enjoyed our first time stay and would definitely comeback.
