Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok

I’ve known Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit for years — back when I used to live nearby and kept a fitness membership here. And honestly, coming back again this time just reminded me why I loved it in the first place. The pool, gym, and sauna have always been the hidden gems of this hotel. Never too crowded, always calm — the kind of spaces that make you forget you’re right in the middle of Bangkok. And speaking of location, this hotel wins without trying: steps away from everything but still feels like its own quiet world. The jazz lounge here has been famous for ages. They bring in truly talented musicians, so nighttime at the Library feels like slipping into a little pocket of the city where music matters. Today, though, I was here during the day — no jazz, just a long overdue catch-up with friends, good conversation, and surprisingly good food. We ordered Pad Thai with fresh prawns, Pad See Ew with pork, and an Indian set with curry and roti.
Everything came out flavorful and well-balanced, the kind of dishes that tell you the kitchen team actually cares. Three of us ate until we were absolutely full, and the bill was just a little over 2,000 THB — honestly great value for a hotel of this standard. The hotel interior is just as I remember: clean, warm, welcoming. The staff are attentive without hovering — the kind of service that feels natural, not rehearsed. All in all, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit still feels like my spot — a place I trust for meet-ups, good food, and quiet corners in the middle of the city.

People remembered our names, where we liked to sit, our orders, even our room number — whether we were at The Living Room for evening cocktails, Orchid Café for breakfast, or relaxing by the pool at The Sala.||Speaking of the pool — it is unlike any other hotel pool we’ve experienced. Surrounded by lush greenery, trees, running water, and serene Buddhist statues, it felt like a hidden oasis in the heart of the city. The atmosphere was calm, private, and deeply relaxing. We found ourselves spending far more time by the pool than we ever, simply because it was so peaceful and beautiful.||We were so impressed by the exceptional service and atmosphere that we even changed our travel plans to stay an extra night on our way home. The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit delivered an experience that was both personal and unforgettable — a true five-star stay in every way.

Dear manager Ms.Judy, I'm not sure you can see this or not, but definitely you are the best hotel manager whom I've ever met. Your professional service mind and thoughtful words and complimentary services were that best impression for my parents who have visited Thailand for the first time. Including you and super nice crews in concierge and the restaurant made the best days while we're staying in Bangkok. I couldn't meet you when I checked out yesterday so couldn't not express my deepest appreciation for you and your hotel. Sheraton Grande has one of the most beautiful pool, elegant rooms, optimized location and on top of that the lovely people with thai smile. Thank you so much!!!

I just had a Sunday brunch here at The living room restaurant. Very impressed with a huge selection of food, fresh seafood especially Boston lobster’s claws , Thai , Chinese and this week Arabian dishes to try. If you are a buffet lover, this is your place. Don’t forget to have enough room for the desserts, Tiramisu, ice cream, cotton candy, crepe or even honey toast to enjoy. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been staying at this hotel once a year for the past five years, and each visit has been consistently enjoyable. This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised by a new service: guests can now choose a welcome drink from a menu, which the bellboy personally delivers to the room. This thoughtful touch, introduced just three months ago, really enhances the overall experience. I must confess, despite coming here every year, I’ve never written a review before. But this new welcome drink service impressed me so much that I felt it deserved to be shared. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: right in the heart of the city, surrounded by shopping malls, vibrant nightlife, bars, and renowned restaurants. For travelers who value convenience, this is truly one of the best spots to stay. Another highlight is the spacious rooms. Compared to other hotels in the same price range nearby, this property offers much larger accommodations, which is a big plus for both comfort and value. Overall, I love the balance of location, comfort, and thoughtful service here. It’s no surprise that I plan to continue returning every year for my leisure stays.

Our stay at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, safe, and genuinely welcomed. The morning security guard deserves special recognition — he always looked out for us, especially when we took our dog out. His quiet attentiveness made us feel protected and at ease, and that kind of care doesn’t go unnoticed. Our housekeeper, Uthai, was absolutely wonderful. She was respectful, kind, and so professional while cleaning around our dog. She made our room feel like home, and her warmth and dedication truly stood out. The front door staff were exceptional — always smiling, always ready to help, and even making sure we got to our next destination safely. That level of thoughtfulness left such an impression on us. Khun Veera at the concierge was outstanding — attentive, gracious, and so thoughtful. I happened to mention it was my birthday in passing, and when I returned to my room, I found a beautiful cake waiting for me. It completely made my day and showed how deeply the team cares about their guests. At The Sala, MJ and Meena took such good care of us every time we went. Their warmth, energy, and kindness set the perfect tone for the day. This was our very first week ever in Bangkok, and because of the incredible staff here, it felt like home. Every interaction, every smile, every small gesture made our stay so special. And for a lovely little touch outside the hotel — there’s a Thai-style crepe stand with savory fillings right by the entrance. I had one every morning, and it became one of those small daily joys that made this trip unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. My husband and I was lucky hotel allowed me to use my 5 night suite upgrade and stayed in a beautiful luxury suite. It was marvelous, spacious and clean. We had the best time. All the staff at this hotel was super friendly and went above and beyond in everything they did at the bell desk, front desk, housekeeping, library bar, breakfast at both restaurant and Thai restaurant. The buffet breakfast and breakfast at Rossini were grand and delicious. Wide selection of variety selections to choose from. The fruits were so fresh and tasty. Thai restaurant staff were so accommodating and helpful. We were so impressed with the hospitality and warmest received. We will definitely stay there again. Everyone should try this hotel. It’s gorgeous, classy and comfortable.
