Sheraton Lima Historic Center

Decent hotel with excellent service. Got an upgrade for being a bonvoy gold member to a bigger room on the 17th floor with a great view (Supreme Court of Peru is right across the street) but some of the top floor rooms felt a little outdated as they didn't have a nightstand in one side (even though it was a big room). Room service was excellent though and we enjoyed both the pasta and the ice creams when we ordered..

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed it: 1. Safe & Convenient Location – We always felt safe. The area is lively, with lots of people around since it’s right by a large mall. Plenty of options for food, shopping, and just walking around. 2. Hotel & Rooms – The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms are comfortable and definitely up to Sheraton standards. Everything in the room worked well and made our stay easy. 3. Staff & Service – This was the highlight! From the front desk to the restaurant, the staff were fantastic — always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Breakfast was just as good as other Sheratons we’ve stayed at, and the lounge happy hour was great (don’t miss the local cocktails!). 4. Transportation – Very convenient. Uber and Cabify rides were always available and fast, no matter the time of day. Public buses, including the express ones, are right nearby if you want to give them a try. Overall, a solid Sheraton experience — we’d definitely stay here again.

This is a five-star hotel in Lima's old town. It's in a great location facing the park, but it's quite an old hotel. Lima is said to have a bad security situation, but this area has shopping centers and other attractions, so it feels safe. My room this time was on the top floor, and the view was open. However, the smog was terrible and the buildings in the city weren't very clean, so I wasn't particularly impressed. Also, the standard amenities didn't include toothbrushes, slippers, or bathrobes, and there was no electric kettle, which I thought was a bit strange for a five-star hotel. On the other hand, I was able to use the club lounge this time, so I had no trouble getting food and drinks. Room tour movie can be seen on YouTube. Search by hakurepo(泊レポ) or hotel’s name.

This hotel was amazing! We loved staying here. The staff were so friendly and kind. My husband and I stayed in the junior suite and it took our breath away. They allowed us to store our luggages with them before we actually stayed there since we were traveling across the country in Peru. The food and drinks were so delicious and everyone was friendly and went above and beyond for us. A special thank you to Enrique for helping us with our luggages and making us feel welcomed!

I wanted to commend your entire staff for making us guests feel very welcome. I’ve been met with smiles and really hard-working, friendly people in all roles, but I want to call out an exceptional staff member on your team. Oscar, who works in the lounge, does a phenomenal job. I have traveled the world and I don’t think I’ve see another person who gives that much attention to his job. When no one is looking, when it seems like it doesn’t matter, he is cleaning, organizing, preparing and going above and beyond to make sure that the guests are well taken care of. I’m sure he thinks it may go unnoticed, but I want to make sure that everyone knows the level of dedication he brings to work each day.

Great room. Comfortable. Would have been nice to have some body wash in the shower rather than two conditioners. I would have given five stars, except that in a Sheraton do you expect all these little things to be taken care of. There was a small tube of lotion, but not even a shower cap. Their description says balcony, but a locked door out onto a small inaccessible veranda. Porter staff was wonderful. Things we requested can quickly to the room. The other drawback and reason for not receiving five stars is that the front desk staff was not very knowledgeable knowledgeable. We asked one young lady if there was an airport shuttle bus and she didn't know. Didn't ask anyone else either, so I did. Asked another young lady if there was a water filter machine. She said no, but there was one right around the corner from her desk. Nice stay and I would recommend. Great location.

I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times and you can visibly see how it’s deteriorating. It’s impossible to get a good night sleep with the loud music from near by night clubs, specially if your room facing the mall Nextdoor. I am also disappointed with Bonvoy program for not crediting my stay with Sheraton. You are better off staying with Hyatt brand hotels they offer better service than bonvoy brand hotels.

My husband and I had a great time here! The staff and service here was amazing. A huge thank you to Hector and the restaurant chef for accommodating my dietary restrictions, to Katia for going out of her way to recommend restaurants to us in the area and to Ann11 for recommending one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The rooms were also clean and comfortable! Definitely would come back here in the future.
