Sheraton Manila Bay

I had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Manila Bay. It’s a good hotel in Manila, offering comfort, elegance, and excellent service. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making the stay very relaxing. The staff were professional and accommodating, which made the overall experience even better. The amenities and dining options were also impressive. I truly had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Manila.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Manila Bay this week. The staff provided amazing hospitality from the check in desk, restaurant, concierge/bellmen, to the staff at the lounge. In no particular order, we want to give a shoutout to the following staff: Eljene, Stephanie, Antonio, Karen, Arnold, Marie, Marshall, Alan, Vhoriz, Kaye, Carla. For members with ambassador status, the newly opened Pacific Lounge has a great view and snack/food selection. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the restaurant downstairs. Rooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff comes at a timely manner to tidy up the room and does a great job. For Manila, it isn’t the cheapest hotel, but it is worth every penny if you decide to stay here. It is located in a funny area due to its accessibility to the “red light district”, but that’s more of the night time scene. Since Robinson’s Manila Place is a short walk away, you can find more food selection within this mall as well as being able to do some souvenir shopping. For the amenities, we didn’t lay by the pool and only worked out at the fitness center. For a small center, the layout has a good flow, good selection of free weights, and there is a view of the bay alongside the treadmills.

We are grateful to Justin from Manila Bay Kitchen for making our New Year’s Countdown celebration memorable, even though it was coordinated on the same day. She went above and beyond, accommodating our requests and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The POS payment was conveniently delivered to our room by the front office team, which we appreciated. The minor breakfast overcharge, where we were supposed to pay for only one additional guest, was forgivable, and we chose to let it slide. The major issue came at checkout. We are really tired since we stayed up late and expecting a smooth check out. Unfortunately, the New Year’s Celebration charge was not cleared in the system. Nicole requested the receipt, and we had to dig through luggage to provide proof. Even then, the official receipt is apparently signed but not given unless asked. We had to wait while staff verified the charge, and it was only after a phone call that we were informed it was cleared. If not for that call, we might have been forced to stay even longer. While Justin’s service was exceptional, the front office billing and checkout process fell far short of the Sheraton standard.

The hotel staff is amazing. Polite, professional and hard working. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. I’m from the USA and this was my first visit to the Philippines. So that being said, the immediate neighborhood was eye opening and not in a positive way even though it is centrally located. But, if you upload Grab to your phone (Philippine version of Uber which works in a very similar way) you can easily and CHEAPLY go elsewhere to safer locations and freely walk around. I learned that too late in my stay. But this hotel and the service are beyond reproach and the rooms are very comfortable.

I don’t rate hotels often but the service here was beyond my expectations. My room was upgraded to a suite, I was able to check in early at 10am, dinner was provided for free (as lounge is under renovation), and the gym was decently equipped for a standard workout. All the staff were very friendly and there to make the stay very welcoming.

My wife and I stayed here with our 10 month old daughter for 5 nights. Upon check-in we were offered a room upgrade and the choice of 2 room options. A higher floor, or bigger room. We opted for the higher floor which was nice to avoid some traffic noise. The whole Sherton team was phenomenal. We enjoyed the breakfast available each morning, and especially the local flavors offer3d during breakfast. We would love to stay here again should we return to the Manila area.

My family visits Manila multiple times annually, and we have previously chosen Marriott properties because of their quality. I have been a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member for years because of this. Regrettably, our recent multi-day stay at Sheraton Manila Bay proved to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever encountered. Due to an unexpected family emergency that prevented me from traveling as planned, my father stayed at the hotel alone. I requested a simple exception to extend my Titanium Elite breakfast benefit to him—a minor accommodation that Marriott corporate support explicitly confirmed was entirely within the hotel’s discretion to grant. Corporate representatives were themselves surprised by the refusal and directly connected me to the property to resolve the issue. Despite this, the staff categorically denied the request, displaying a complete lack of empathy, flexibility, or basic customer service. Throughout the process, the front desk and management team were dismissive, unhelpful, and at times openly rude and disrespectful. A promise that the hotel manager would contact me personally to discuss the matter was never honored, leaving the issue unresolved and adding insult to an already frustrating situation. The breakfast issue is not the main reason we will not be returning, The rudeness disrespecfulness of the front desk staff is unacceptable. I have never seen sush treatment in the past at any hotel. Beyond the service failures, the property itself feels outdated and poorly maintained for the premium prices charged. At these rates, guests rightfully expect a far higher standard of hospitality and facilities. There are numerous superior alternatives in the Manila Bay area that deliver genuine warmth, modern amenities, and respectful treatment without question. This experience has irreparably damaged my trust in Sheraton Manila Bay. We will not return, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking reliable service or value. Marriott properties should represent excellence; this one falls woefully short.

As of September 2025, the club lounge was under renovation and not available. Since the hotel notified us in advance a few days before our stay, it was not a big deal, but it may matter to guests who consider lounge access important. I was told the renovation will be done in November. All the staff members were very friendly🫶🏻, which made my entire stay comfortable. Because of a storm, the outdoor walkway to the gym was closed, which was a bit inconvenient, but the staff arranged alternatives very well. The location is convenient, with Robinsons Place mall just one block away. The hotel is also close to popular tourist spots like Intramuros and Rizal Park, though I recommend taking a Grab (like Uber). The room was spacious and very clean. This was my first time staying at a Sheraton among marriott hotels, and I found the bedding extremely comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of both western and asian dishes, and everything tasted great. I especially enjoyed the local dessert and salad bar.

And then there was the New Year's Eve dinner and countdown--an event that exceeded all expectations. The culinary team pulled out all the stops to create a feast fit for royalty, with a dazzling array of dishes that delighted the senses and satisfied the palate. From savory appetizers to decadent desserts, every bite was a culinary masterpiece. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the countdown to midnight. As the clock struck twelve, Sheraton Manila Bay transformed into a scene straight out of a fairytale, with fireworks lighting up the sky and music filling the air. It was a moment of pure magic that I'll never forget. In conclusion, my experience at Sheraton Manila Bay was nothing short of exceptional. From the great rooms to the awesome service to the unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration, every moment was filled with warmth, joy, and a touch of luxury. If you're looking for a hotel that knows how to create memories that last a lifetime, look no further than Sheraton Manila Bay.

Great option downtown. Despite it being one of the cheaper Marriott properties in Manila, they had lots of fantastic touches. Definitely consider this one when you are in Manila. I didn't get to try the breakfast since I had an early flight. However, they were nice enough to pack me a to-go breakfast that was waiting for me when I checked out. I also used the car service to the airport. It was probably more expensive than other options but super convenient. Loved the top floor happy hour. If you have access, definitely don't skip it. Great views and great food/drinks. Lots of room, too.

We stayed at this Sheraton on our last trip to Manila. It's a very nice hotel but the surrounding area is not that great. Staff and service is excellent and the breakfast buffet was decent. The room was great but the pool was meh.

The customer service I received from all the staff was top notch. They helped coordinate getting my Covid test prior to my flight tomorrow by having the lab come to the hotel to administer it. I had an issue with the shower handle falling off so they sent maintenance up to fix the issue right away. This is why I am a Bonvoy member. Thank you for making everything seamless and comfortable for me!

Great Sheraton. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Friendly personnel. The breakfast buffet is good enough. They have Filipino food, American food, Japanese food, cheese/cold cuts and a variety of pastries. They are more than happy to make you whatever espresso drink you want. The rooftop restaurant is closed for renovations right now. But when that's open, it's a great view. The only downside is the location is a bit sketchy. Right in the heart of strip clubs. But a mall is within walking. Safe enough to walk if you watch yourself

One of the best Sheraton hotels I've ever stayed at. Customer service was fantastic! Their rooms were extremely spacious. Everyone, especially JV, was extremely helpful. I'm glad I discovered this spot and will definitely return when I return to the motherland.

The Pan Pacific has been re branded and partially renovated as the Sheraton Manila Bay. A spacious hotel overlooking the bay offering some great views. The area of the hotel may not be the best but offers a lot of food and shopping options in walking distance. The staff of the hotel have been recently trained on Bonvoy and Marriott's policies and procedures. The service is par excellence. Every employee provided the highest levels of service at all times. The upgraded suite was spacious and offered a nice view of the bay. The 21st floor Pacific lounge is where breakfast and evening cocktails are served. The 7th floor houses the swimming pool and a small gym. The main gym is located in the lobby level. The capsule elevator offers some amazing view of the city and the Manila Bay which is a nice addition. The rates of this hotel were great since it was the first week after opening. Turn down service every evening, fruits and amenities in-room, complimentary desserts with the evening service, in-room dining, same day laundry service and high speed internet are all value adds. Overall, an amazing stay in a nice hotel in the center of Makati. I recommend this property and hope they continue to maintain the standards. If you are here for business, ignore the neighborhood and you have all facilities inside the hotel.

Hotel is very nice. Although not new, it appears to be renovated (stayed in December 2019). Would recommend if you want western accommodations while in the Philippines.
