This hotel is indeed extremely popular with Korean tourists. I would estimate that around 80% of the guests are Korean. Even shops and massage centres around Nha Trang are able to communicate in basic Korean. All hotel staff are very friendly, and most of them speak good conversational English, which makes communication easy and pleasant.||First Room: King Room, Ocean View (Large Room)||The first room I stayed in was a king room with an ocean view. The room was very spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and plush pillows. Universal power points are conveniently located on both sides of the bed. One highlight is the massive 75–80 inch smart TV—the biggest I’ve seen in a non-suite room—allowing you to connect easily to YouTube or Netflix.||The bathroom is equally impressive, featuring a dual vanity with ample space for toiletries, as well as a mirror facing the bathtub. Water pressure is strong, and hot water is consistent. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in refillable bottles, which is environmentally friendly and smells pleasant. Towels are clean and fresh, with no unpleasant odour.||The only drawbacks are the basin taps and hand soap. While the taps look sturdy, they are quite stiff and difficult to turn, even for someone with larger hands. The hand soap is also not to my liking—it requires more water to rinse off, tends to stick to fingernails and skin, and feels unhygienic when it becomes soggy. It also doesn’t smell pleasant.||Another missing feature is a wall-mounted, lighted makeup mirror, which would be very useful for shaving. The fabric sofa, while comfortable, could be replaced with leather for easier cleaning and better hygiene, as rough fabric can attract germs, bacteria, or even bedbugs if not properly maintained.||One interesting and well-designed feature is the mini “walk-in” utility room, where you can find the safety box, iron, hairdryer, laundry bag, and additional space to store luggage. Although the ocean view is not a full 180-degree frontal view, it is still very beautiful and relaxing.||Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious food. The restaurant is spacious, with limited sea-view tables. Usually, I am among the first guests at breakfast in Vietnam hotels, but in this hotel, there were already many guests dining before me—clearly a popular spot.||Second Room: Junior Suite, Club Access, High Floor||The second room I stayed in was the 1 King Bed, Ocean View, Club Access, High Floor Junior Suite (16th floor and above). Do note that if you want a high-floor room, you must choose the option that explicitly states “16th floor and above”; otherwise, you may be assigned a lower floor.||This room is largely similar to the first, with several key differences: a separate living room, two toilets, two large TVs, and two balconies. However, there is only one basin in the main bathroom. There is also no curtain or sliding door separating the bedroom from the bathroom area, meaning the shower, bathtub, and toilet are visible from the bed (though the shower and toilet do have doors). This layout may not be ideal for guests who value privacy.||Another odd design choice is the lighting control—turning off the bedroom lights also switches off the living room lights. Additionally, the power socket at the dressing table in the living room is positioned too low, making it impossible to plug in UK or 3-pin adapters due to the table blocking access.||Don’t be alarmed if the air-conditioning switches off when you open the balcony door—this is intentional. The swimming pool is beautiful but quite windy, and the water can be rather cold, as most guests were seen shivering slightly upon entering.||Dining Recommendation||Do try the dim sum at Steam n Spice—it is the best I’ve found in Vietnam so far. The dim sum is freshly handmade and absolutely delicious. Next time, I would also like to try Li Bai at Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel.||Final Thoughts||Overall, this hotel is highly recommended. Booking via the Marriott app offers better value compared to Agoda or other platforms. You earn points and bonus points, enjoy additional perks, and payment is only required upon check-in.||A truly enjoyable stay, and I would gladly return again.
