I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Bobby and Erin at the reception provided exceptional service, so kind and attentive, they solved all my issues and made my stay even better. I loved the hotel so much that I extended my stay for an extra night. Highly recommend! The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything you need.

The words below are my own; I didn't use AI to help me compose or edit this review:||As I compose this review, my wife & I are at the end of a fabulous and most enjoyable stay at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.||When we were researching Marriott properties to stay in Honolulu, Princess Kaiulani was our reluctant choice, due to a couple negative reviews specifically related to Marriott Bonvoy benefits (I hold Lifetime Titanium Elite status), so I contacted Guest Experience Manager Samantha Londynsky, who answered all of my questions.||To say our expectations were greatly exceeded would be an understatement. ||Kiyami at reception recognized my status with Marriott Bonvoy, thanked me for my loyalty to Marriott, and then surprised me with the welcome news that not only had my wife & I received an upgrade, our room was ready...before 11:00AM. We had occasion to engage with Kiyami on a few other occasions during our stay, to ask questions, and get money changed for tips, etc., and Kiyami was always friendly and helpful. Thank you Kiyami!||We were in a renovated room in the Ainahau Tower, with a nice view looking down at the pool, and over to Waikiki Beach. ||The bed was comfortable, and the soft pillow was uber-comfortable, exactly to my liking...so very much so I wanted to take it with me, but resisted the urge to do so!||Housekeeper Jean kept our room spotless, and provided us with bottles of water each day of our stay. She was most appreciative when I tipped her, saying "God bless you", which brought a tear to my eye.||Our package included a credit which could be used at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani's sister properties, the Moana Surfrider, Royal Hawaiian, and Sheraton Waikiki, as well as at Splash at the Princess Kaiulani.||While we enjoyed the beachfront views at the Beach Bar (Moana Surfrider) and Mai Tai Bar (Royal Hawaiian), Splash was by-far our favorite, not only because we preferred the items on the menu (the Cobb salad was so good we ordered it twice during our stay), but because of the genuinely warm, attentive, and friendly service provided to us by Ellen (breakfast), and Thomas, who served us on four or five occasions during lunch and dinner. Bartender Herb gave us generous pours for our welcome drinks. ||Restaurant & Bars Managers Caitlin and Jesse provided a welcome gift for my wife, as they knew our stay was preceding a cruise which we are going on to celebrate my wife's birthday. Thank you Caitlin and Jesse.||While there is a building construction site across from the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, the noise honestly didn't bother us, and the noise at night which some reviewers have complained about, we didn't hear at all.||The location of Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is perfect, being an easy three to five minute walk to Waikiki Beach, and with dozens of restaurants, bars, and shopping being close-by. Appetito Craft Pizza & Wine Bar (less than a five minute walk down Kaiulani Avenue) was the surprise find of our stay at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, and is highly recommended.||This was my wife's & my third stay in Honolulu (the others being in 1990 and 1992), but our first at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. If we ever return again to Honolulu, we will definitely stay at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.||Thanks to each of the amazing team members who looked after Margaret & me so well, and helped make our stay at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani as enjoyable as it was.

I booked a 5 night stay and was able to use my Nightly Upgrade Awards (NUA) to get upgraded to a high floor ocean view room in the Ainahau Tower. While not a suite, the room still felt spacious, probably because of the balcony. The staff were all friendly. The hotel was clean, the elevators worked fine, housekeeping was great. They were doing some maintenance in some sections of the lobby/restaurant area so I assume they're continuing to steadily remodel/renovate the property. As a Marriott Platinum member, I didn't quite feel I got much benefit from my memership status but I was prepared for that going in as this is a resort property and I knew they didn't have a lounge. I don't remember if they offered a full breakfast or a $10 daily credit but I opted for the 1,000 points as I wanted to pick up breakfast while I was out exploring anyway.|Some reviewers have complained about the noise and yes I did hear some of that but honestly, it didn't prevent me from being able to fall asleep. Besides, considering the hotel's location right in the middle of Waikiki on the main thoroughfare, some crowd noise was to be expected. The convenience of the location to me, offset any noise I heard. Perhaps it was because I was on the 23rd floor but the noise to me wasn't that bad.|I'm not a fan of resort or destination fees but I did enjoy the daily Mi-Fi rental. Data usage on my phone plan is never an issue but still, it was nice to have wifi wherever we went.|I did notice the hotel does seem to cater to Japanese travelers as there was a dedicated Japanese language concierge desk. But if they really want to appeal to Japanese travelers (and probably anyone else who cares about this), they would upgrade their toilets to have bidets. Western society really needs to catch up on this front.|I had a rental car during my entire stay and didn't have trouble finding parking. The clerk at the front desk did provide me a map with directions for other parking garages should theirs ever be at capacity but again, that was never a problem for me. If you're not a big person or are not traveling in a large group, I highly recommend getting a smaller rental car as the parking spaces are very tight here. I assume it's the same at any other hotel in Waikiki.|Overall, while I may not always get upgraded to the premium ocean view balcony room, I'd stay here again for its convenient location and reasonable price point.

I’ve been wanting to give this place a try now that the tower rooms are renovated. I was on a high floor. View was incredible. Room was standard, but clean and had everything I needed. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Hospitality all around was on par with Marriott standards. Pool seemed to close early to me (7:00pm), but I managed. As the cheapest Marriott-owned resort on the strip, I’ll definitely be back. Definitely recommend.

Google
Great stay, Bryce and the front desk and Lance a breakfast definitely added to the experience. Location is perfect not overly trafficked on the beach but close enough for all Waikiki has to offer. Room was cool and comfortable and the view from the 16th floor was fine. Lobby is dated but the staff more than make up for it.

Google
First time that we stayed here. Nice welcoming lobby. Good staff. Good maintenance. Good-sized pool and a nice bar. They have a couple of pool tables and table tennis. Plenty of sitting areas to rest after a hot day. The location is amazing. Right next to the International Market and across the street is Waikiki Beach. Our partial ocean view is awesome. The balcony is big enough to enjoy sitting out. Would love to stay here again.

Google
stayed here monday night and was upgrade to a pool view room. it was a decent room with a king size bed and extra space in the room. The a/c ran cold which was nice. The room did seem dated but still comfy. The bed mattress did seem quiet warn but still slept okay. We only stayed 1 night so didn't get to enjoy the amenities. My only complaints is that the pool closed at 7pm which is pretty early and there is no elevator in the parking garage, so you will need to carry your luggage down stairs which isn't great in the heat. But it's a nice location to restaurants & the beach.

Google
This is a very nice place to stay. The location is great. Its close to the international market place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on staying in Waikiki. Shout out to Kapena at the front desk. Im glad to see the Aloha spirt is still alive.

Yelp
Sad that today is our last day. Our stay was wonderful. The staff: housekeeping, front desk, bar staff (Nicole, Eric and Rocky) are super nice, helpful and had smiles. Before I arrived, Samantha, guest experience mamager, helped us with all my questions and email. She was wonderful and made sure we had a good experience from start to end. We were celebrating a birthday and he had a card and cookies left in our room which was a nice surprise. We also got two complimentary drinks from the bar :) I am a Titanium member and the complimentary breakfast was either a hot breakfast (veggie frittata, croissant, bacon and potatoes) or cold options (pastries, fruits, yogurt, banana bread). I had breakfast togo every morning by the bar and it was wonderful. Our room was on a high floor and we have a beautiful view of the ocean, it was amazing to wake up to it every morning. Thank you for the wonderful and welcoming staff for making our stay a memorable one. We can't wait to come back. Mahalo!

Yelp
I've stayed here 5-10 times over the past couple of years. The staff are super friendly and welcoming upon check-in throughout the stay. I love the convenience of the location. It less than a block from the beach, tons of food spots around, and an ABC store across the street. The bus stop is down the block and across the street so it's easy to get places. They have a small pool that's nice but I usually just get towels from down there then go to the beach. They have upgraded/remodeled rooms and regular ones. I've only stayed in the older rooms and they're fine. Nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. Some of the rooms have balconies that overlook the pool. It can be a little noisy but not overly. The rooms without the balcony that I've gotten are also smaller.

Yelp
Stayed here from Friday to Friday. Solid three star place. Location is great and the SHOWER HEADS are amazing. But that's about as far as it goes. 45.00 a night for a self park garage is a bit crazy. The 1 out of the 4 elevators were broken. I had family stay here about a month prior to us going and they told me about it so I called the week we were coming in and they assured me that everything was working. It wasn't. Long, long wait times for elevators, sardine like elevator rides it was awful. During peak times you could be waiting 20+ minutes just to get back to your room! No room service whatsoever so when you're stuck in the room with a pending TSUNAMI there was no way to get food for my family. Staff was friendly but I wouldn't call them hospitable. Something to be said when you are leaving the hotel and your family is holding A LOT of bags and an employee walks out and doesn't even bother to open the door for us Anyway we won't be staying here again. Lots of better places in town to stay at.

Yelp
I'll preface this by saying I didn't stay at the Sheraton because it was my first choice. I had a Marriott deal and this seemed to be the only hotel where it applied. That is how I ended up at the Sheraton Princess, but I won't complain too much because I was in the renovated section. Which honestly, I felt like I would hate to see the other side, lol because this didn't feel quite special. Hotel check-in was very smooth. Customer service was nice then and at checkout. I only wish they had upgraded my room (since it was my birthday, and all) because the view was nonexistent. Also, I was on the fifth floor and could hear all the cars, alarms, people in the parking garage. I am a light sleeper, but surprisingly this didn't bother me as much as I would think it would have. Room appeared clean, came with microwave (I believe), safe, and a mini fridge. Had an outdoor patio but considering my view was trash, I didn't go out there. Housekeeping was very much on it every day zero complaints. Everyone I encountered was nice and friendly and even when I did not want service that day, they asked if I needed anything without hesitation. What I didn't like is the resort fee and the parking fee which I paid a couple of nights when I rented a car. Both overpriced and especially the resort fee considering I didn't utilize any of those services. But I guess that's on me. Also didn't like the elevators take so long and are always full of people so you might be waiting even longer if you can't get on. The pool area was used a lot but I'd rather go to the beach myself. They also had pool tables and other game tables for entertainment and plenty of seating areas downstairs. The Sheraton Princess also had a stage for bands and singers to entertain guests. I utilized two free passes to the bar and I will say, the older gentleman at the bar hmmm wasn't rude just wasn't that friendly the first night. I don't know the difference, but the second time I came a few days later, he was friendlier and made conversation. The drinks were OK both times. All in all the Sheraton is definitely a three star hotel. Nothing fancy about it; even the renovated section which could use some sprucing up itself at least my room.

Yelp
I must say, as a local who lives in Hawaii and was staying here in a staycation, this Marriott property was not the best. For the amount it costs to book a room here, I would have appreciated having a lounge or restaurant available in the hotel. They do have a poolside bar-like restaurant called the SplashBar. But it's all open air seating next to the pool area. The view from our balcony of the room was breathtaking. But the room itself could have had some improvements. The shower was surprisingly low. I'm 5'8" and had to almost half squat to rinse the top of my head in the shower... or have it shooting straight at me haha. The amenities provided in the bathroom were not very extensive. Only a bar of soap and a tube of lotion. No qtips or tooth brushes or combs, etc. Although the room did have two complimentary bottles of water, which was nice. Of all the Marriott properties I've stayed at around the world, I'd say the location of this hotel is more of the reason for their nightly costs... if you're a tourist to Hawaii and more excited to see Waikiki rather than have a nice relaxing weekend in a hotel, this may work out for you! If you're a local doing a staycation, looking to enjoy the hotel property itself... I'd recommend maybe choosing a more affordable hotel with better amenities.

Yelp
The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is centrally located in Waikiki. I found my room to be clean and comfortable. The resort has a lot of activities that guests can participate in, such as lei making, and morning yoga. I also appreciated the filtered water station in the lobby. My only suggestion would be to get the elevators fixed as soon as possible. It seemed that only 2 were working and it took awhile to get to your room and to the lobby.

Yelp
We stayed here our last night in Waikiki earlier this month as a free night with my Marriott points. We had a king bed with a pool view on the 2nd floor. The lobby was nice and check in was smooth. I was disappointed the pool closed at 7pm which seemed early and be aware there are NO Elevators in the parking garage, so you will need to use stairs with your luggage. The rooms did seem outdated but still clean, our bed mattress seemed to sink in and probably should be replaced. Location is nice and close to the beach & shops. I would consider staying again for the location.

Yelp
****Review Update**** This time around 4 stars overall ! This will be a combination of an update and reference to my first review in which I gave them 3 stars. If you haven't read my other review check it out after this one. Location gets 5 stars, close to the beach, shopping and eats. Staff gets 5 stars, Helpful, nice, friendly, welcoming to all guest standard and elite members. (Disclosure I am a Marriott Bonvoy Elite Member) Anyone can sign up for a membership and it's free. Again membership has its privileges. Ambience gets 4 stars, over all with renovations it's a mix of old school Hawaii late 90s, early 2000s, all the way to updated giving it a modern feel. Amenities gets 4 stars, they have a bunch of activities which they go over at check in, with a nice pamphlet to go along with it. There is a gym, game room area (pool table, ping pong and foosball) , hang out spot with over size chairs, swimming pool, sun chairs and cabanas for rent. Wifi connection was good around the property, but for some reason when watching YouTube or Netflix at night on the tv it lagged a lot. I mean the wifi is part of the resort fee you are paying for so I except no lag, just saying ....But you didn't come to Hawaii to watch TV lol. Rooms get 4 stars, Renovated rooms are awesome. I had the opportunity to stay in two different renovated rooms, Room#2455 with a city view, Room#2058 with a ocean view both on high floors in the Ainahau Tower. Both rooms were two double beds and renovated with the same decor. Updated feel, clean and comfortable. A much different experience from my last review. Cleanliness gets 4 stars, Bathroom was clean, counter, sink, toilet, tub and floor, clean. Mirror clean, lighting good and water pressure decent. Beds clean, sheets clean and pillows clean. Carpet clean. ( when house keeping came and tidy up they also changed bed sheets, pillow covers, vacuumed and refreshed the bathroom.) Clean and comfortable. Price gets 3 stars, For my stay over all I was able to use points and money to accommodate my entire stay. Again become a Bonvoy member because you get special membership rates , they also have special promotions, just got to keep checking their website or the Bonvoy app, they accept AAA, senior rates, military rates, depending who you work for they accept some corporate rate codes. But prices and resort fees have gone up obviously due to renovation cost. Hopefully they don't become too expensive and out of my budget because I really do like this place. Overall when booking choose the renovated rooms vs the older rooms. Unless you like the old school Hawaiian room feel and vibe. Lol , No matter which room you choose your experience will be satisfying. I'll also include some pictures from my first review to compare the renovated vs not renovated rooms. At the time my un renovated room was Room#585 Kaiulani Wing two double beds.

Yelp
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The front desk staff are rarely nice, mostly have an attitude like they hate you. Most rooms face the alley or parking garage. I had a room with a partial ocean view and I couldn't even enjoy it because the giant AC units were in the roof directly in front of me:/ I'll have to take a picture next time I'm there because none of these pics show the tiny rooms I've stayed in! I have to stay here for work but if I was booking my own hotel, it wouldn't be this one!

Yelp
Great hotel across the street from the beach. There are definitely more expensive hotels but the price here is pretty good and beach is across the street.

Yelp
Nice and affordable place to stay in Waikīkī and so close (within walking distance) to beach and centrally located everywhere! Staff friendly and place is uber clean. Loved my room and featherless comfortable bedding. Slept like a rock here !! Dining downstairs was convenient. Only downfall is small outside pool and no hot tub onsite.
google avatar

Christy J.

Yelp
For the location, it was super convenient being a street away from Waikiki Beach. Plenty of places to shop and eat within walking distance. The hotel is a little on the older side and I stayed in the building that wasn't renovated yet. Very clean, and had a corner building view so I was able to see street and part of the pool. Parking is definitely tricky. The elevators are only located on the 6th floor of the parking lot, so park closer to the top if you plan to carry your luggage into the hotel.

Yelp
Very nice here! Price is just right especially for the location! Very cool pool side vibes, me and my family loved it here definitely recommend booking a visit and we will be coming back!

Yelp
I'm in Hawaii often and have stayed in some amazing places. This is a Marriott Bonvoy location and thought it would hold up to Marriott's reputation, especially in Hawaii. I came into the room on the first night and was welcomed to someone else's snot rag stuffed into the shelf above the TV and a large stain on the carpet next to the bed. I called the front desk and asked for someone to remove it and was told it would be taken care of...6 days later the snot rag still greets us every time we turn on the tv. After the third time complaining about it, someone came in and removed it. It was a previous guest's used tissue. Which I can only imagine what was in it. And I'm in one of the recently upgraded rooms that underwent construction. I was informed I was given an upgraded room from the category I reserved. I face a parking lot. A very loud parking lot. The pool is only open until 7pm, which is crazy considering it is a resort. You're not allowed to have floats in the pool. Kids can have them because they're considered safety floats but adults cannot. You can have alcohol in the pool and the kids run, jump, and flip in the pool, but my floating chair is a "safety liability". (Photo added of my unsafe float). They claim the towel attendants dubbing as unlicensed and uncertified life guards cannot see under the floats if someone were to get stuck under it. Maybe because they're not life guards in a life guard stand solely with the purpose of watching the water to keep it safe; they're handing out towels 30 feet away from the pool. But they can see under the kids floats of similar size? The management staff, front desk staff, and towel attendants are less than kind or helpful. Everyone had a snotty attitude like they resented having to deal with guests. The housekeeping staff was very kind though. And the staff that took care of the grounds were very nice. Always smiling and kind. The rest of the staff treated you like an inconvenience. Overall it was a disappointment. However, the property is in a good location 1 block off the beach and in a great centralized location in Waikiki. But it is not the resort feel I have seen as other Marriott properties. Especially for the price of this resort. Don't think I'll stay here again. Thankful my days weren't spent on site or I'd be even more disappointed.

Yelp
Great Location! Easy walkability to a lot of restaurants and right across the street from the beach. We had a recently renovated room which was nice. Bed was comfortable. Good size gym for a hotel. However the elevators are a huge problem. It can take awhile to get an elevator its so bad that many guests were using the service elevator. I wish there was better signage in the parking lot to let you know that you have to go to the top floor if you want access to an elevator otherwise you have to drag your bags down stairs to the lobby. Another complaint is that you can hear everything going on outside when I first walked into the room I thought someone had left the balcony door open it was that loud and we were up on one of the higher floors. You can check out beach stairs during your stay which is included in the resort fee for bonvoy members.

Yelp
A Hidden Gem in Waikiki After completing major renovations, especially in the Ainahau Tower, the hotel feels completely transformed--like staying at a new property! Here's why I believe this is one of the best hotels for the price: 1. Exceptional Welcome and Early Check-In From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. The staff greeted us warmly at the entrance, and the front desk experience was seamless. We were given a detailed list of resort benefits, including: - Free mobile hotspot: (a lifesaver for the week, especially at the beach). - Free GoPro rental: for capturing special moments. - Access to games and activities: included in the resort fee. The personal touches made us feel valued; our check-in process concluded with complimentary Hawaiian cookies, snacks, and bottled water. To our delight, they allowed us to check in at 11 a.m., 4 hours earlier than the usual 3 p.m. check-in time, which was incredibly convenient for starting our vacation early. 2. Renovations and Holiday Spirit The renovations completed in May 2024 have elevated this hotel to a whole new level. Everything feels fresh and modern, from the lobby and hallways to the beautifully designed rooms in the Ainahau Tower. The rooms now exude a luxury vibe, with thoughtful details that enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the hotel embraced the holiday season with incredible Christmas decorations that created a warm, festive atmosphere. It's clear they're going above and beyond to impress guests post-renovation. The "only downside" was the elevators--only 2 of 4 were operational due to ongoing upgrades in certain parts of the hotel. While it caused minor delays, it didn't overshadow the overall experience. 3. Family-Friendly Pool Area The pool was a highlight for my family. The towel service was smooth and efficient; just scan your room card, and staff provide the towels you need. One staff member, Floyd, went above and beyond, remembering my kids' names and engaging with them daily. He even let us borrow a floater for the beach, which added a personal touch to our stay. The pool area was perfect for relaxation. Whether lounging with a book, taking a nap, or browsing online, it offered a peaceful escape. On weekends, the energy picks up with a live DJ and singers who entertain pool-goers. Live music from the Splash Bar can be heard throughout the lobby as well late night. 4. Unbeatable Location The hotel is located in the heart of Waikiki, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. High-end luxury stores and casual shops are just steps away. Even better, the beach is directly across the street; simply walk through the Moana Surfrider, and you're there! 5. Inclusive Games and Activities for All Ages The resort fee includes access to an impressive selection of games that kept our kids entertained for hours. These include: Pool Table, Ping Pong Table , Shuffleboard , Giant Jenga, Connect Four and Cornhole . The bell desk makes it easy to check out any equipment, ensuring hassle-free family fun. 6. Engaging and Free Daily Activities One of the biggest surprises of our stay was the variety of free daily activities offered by the hotel. These activities were well-organized, enjoyable, and great for all ages. Here are some of the highlights: - Hula Dancing: This activity, held on the second floor, was perfect for families and kids. The instructors made it fun and engaging, teaching us basic moves while sharing a bit of Hawaiian culture. - Lei Making: We loved this activity so much that we did it twice! Instead of spending $20-$30 per lei at a market, we made our own with guidance from friendly staff. They even helped us capture a family photo once we finished. - Ribbon Lei Making: Using leaves to craft figurines and keepsakes was a unique and creative experience held at the Splash Bar. - Storytelling with Tutu: Tutu, a Hawaiian grandmother, captivated the children with her stories, cultural artifacts, and interactive questions. This activity was especially memorable while waiting for our airport transportation. - Ukulele Lessons: We learned three basic chords and played "Happy Birthday" and "You Are My Sunshine" as a group. It was surprisingly simple and a great family bonding moment. - Fishpond Feeding: Feeding koi, crayfish, and small black fish with provided fish food was a hit with the kids and a peaceful way to spend time. - Ho'ala Sunrise Ceremony: Although early (6 a.m.), this beach ceremony was a serene and spiritual experience. Guests sat on towels, listened to traditional songs, and participated in a refreshing dip in the ocean at sunrise. -Moana Historic Tour: This lecture-style tour shares the history of Hawaii and the Moana Surfrider. It's better suited for adults, as younger kids may lose interest. -Run Concierge: A guided who stopped at picturesque locations and took family photos. The pace was slow enough for the kids.

Yelp
The hotel was wonderful to stay at for our honeymoon at Waikiki! The lobby, pool, and rooms are beautiful and inviting, making it easy to rest and relax during our stay. As soon as we arrived we had someone there to help us with our bags and while checking in they upgraded our room and gave us drink vouchers to the bar when we said we were here for our honeymoon. The hotel is in a great location and it was easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach! The staff was kind, generous, and communicative. Our room was made promptly every morning and they resolved our towels and gave us clean sheets. We stayed during a tsunami threat and the hotel was on top of communicating instructions for guest in a calm and organized way that helped us feel safe. The only thing was that two of the elevators were down during our stay and the remaining two were kind of faulty. The staff did everything they could to keep the elevators working as smoothly as possible, they even opened up the service elevators for guest to use. It was a bit annoying to wait a while for an elevator or be on an elevator that's going up when you need to go down, but you end up at your destination in the end and it only took an extra 5 minutes out of your day. You're on vacation and you have nothing to kill but time, and it became a running joke between the guests. The staff was soo empathetic about this even though it's not their fault that their elevators are faulty. Some guest would complain and yell at the staff because of this, again it wasn't their fault. I wouldn't give them a lower rating because of this and I wouldn't stay here again!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are from Kailua and decided to do a staycation in Waikiki for my 30th birthday, and ended up at the Princess Kaiulani Sheraton. Ill start by saying, our stay was so great that we extended it twice. Besides the beautiful property, it's prime location, and really awesome activities offered; the staff really made everything worthwhile-- you really feel the aloha spirit. Special shout out to all the amazing staff we met: Julie, Madeleine, Kenneth, Arthuro, Junior, Nicole, and many more! (So sorry if I didnt get your name) Mahalo you all for really making our staycation special! Oh and can't forget the awesome live music!

Yelp
I stayed here for four nights. Customer service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice. My room was upgraded without asking. The hotel is right in the middle of Waikiki and across the street from the beach. If you never been to Honolulu think of Waikiki as the Vegas strip, people everywhere. We were able to walk everywhere with no issues. The reason for three stars is because the hotel is outdated and it's in the middle of doing upgrades. So one of the elevators were down, you could hear construction at 5am, the walls to the rooms were very thin, and the rooms share the same bathroom vent. When the lights were off in my room and on in the bathroom next door, you could see the light shining through. Very creepy. Nevertheless, our room was clean, no issues. The hotel has a restaurant and bar which was nice and convenient but very overpriced so I didn't eat there. We enjoyed the games they had available to play but it sucks they close everything down at 10pm. If you're looking for a clean room with no bells and whistles then this hotel is for you. I would stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel was lovely! Very nice stay here, this location offered lots of activities and made you feel like you were truly in paradise. From the location, classes, the pool and being steps away from the beach I couldn't ask for more. They had live music each night and so much more. My only complaint while here was the elevator was under construction but that was a small thing! I loved everything else about my stay you definitely should check this place out if you want to be in the center of Waikiki

Yelp
My goodness for a Sheraton this is pretty pathetic. The whole downstairs smells like a McDonald's bathroom. Paying a resort fee for what exactly? The ridiculously loud music or the sweet view of the pool? I'm not really sure who comes to Honolulu, because to me it's an overpriced combination of Miami, and the South side of Chicago. Only good about this place is the hotel staff and the location to the beach. Also why have ping pong tables with no paddles?

Yelp
Old and dated hotel with non-working elevators. Some rooms have been given a minor facelift, though don't expect it to make a huge difference. Location is decent but it's a highly touristy area so expect to be approached by street vendors. Views from the 28th floor are lovely though. Staff is friendly. Some games in the lobby and usually live music in the evenings. Pool is kind of open to the main road though so that's awkward. It gets the job done but it definitely gives off a motel vibe but at 5 star prices, especially when you can expect to pay nearly another $100/night when you add in parking and resort fee for your motel.

Yelp
We are having such an awesome time on our mini staycation for the McFarlane Regatta. We want to mahalo Erin Liftee (Freitas) for going above and beyond in her guest services as well as the Braddahs working the pool desk. Coming from front desk hotel service myself, it takes a lot of patience dealing with visitors from all walks of life; to do the job with a smile and Aloha, takes special people. Mahalo to them! Give them a raise!

Yelp
Great location Very good fitness center compared to other properties in Waikiki Rooms are a little dated Garage doesn't have elevators so be mindful with luggage Overall one of the better values in Waikiki

Yelp
Special wedding shout out to the staff at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani! Upon finding out that our daughter was staying here and getting married Erin from the front desk, made multiple extra effort to make her check in day extra special! Thanks also to Samantha, Luz from housekeeping, Luz, and Kiyomi! Marina absolutely loved it! Jai & Chiharu

Yelp
Location, location, location! Sheraton is so close to everything! The Waikiki beach is less than 5 mins away by foot. Super walkable to food and shopping in Waikiki! The hotel itself was a bit outdated but was clean. I've read many reviews about hotels with bedbugs around the area and it's safe to say that I didn't encounter one during my stay. I wasn't expecting to have housekeeping service, so it was a nice surpise to come back to a fully stocked room. Elevators can be a bit slow at times. I didn't use any of their amenities so I can't say anything about it. Parking was $45 a night. You'll have a get a new ticket everytime you go in the parking out. When you leave you, you have to give them your parking ticket and the parking slip you get when you check in. This was confusing the first time around for us. Park towards the top of the parking structure for elevators!

Yelp
The hotel is a little outdated. It needs major improvements. It is centrally located in Waikiki, so that's a plus. The pool can get very busy so try using it in the morning before everybody gets there. Rooms were ok but also outdated. Feels more like a 90's vintage vibe. Elevator did not work properly most of the time. Staff were nice though.

Yelp
Ok, here's the down side. This is an older hotel which has gone through some renovations and updates. The carpet in the lobby is getting threadbare on the edges. But otherwise, the rooms were comfortable, parking available, and the location is outstanding. On our arrival, we were given a room in the tower but found all door alarms in the hallway were going off. Got a different room. Staff was apologetic and waived the resort fee for the day and gave us drink coupons and upgraded breakfast coupons. The staff is amazing. The breakfasts were impressive.

Yelp
Luckily we only stayed here for one night. First the WiFi never works. Called the front desk and they transfer us to the provider tech line. Are you kidding me? I had to wait in line for 10-15 mins to talk to the provider to solve the problem for the hotel? This is ridiculous. The pool and table tennis area don't open until 11:00am. For us who travel from the west coast. The time difference makes us all wake up early. And there is absolutely nothing to do in the morning with the kids. It was raining that day so walking around or swimming was not an option. The elevator does not require room card to go up and down. Which means anyone can go to any rooms, this is not Secure at all. Found few hair on the linen as well. Seems like Hilton was a better option in the future.

Yelp
Not the typical hotel experience but we were evacuated to the Sheraton during a tsunami warning. The staff was SO wonderful - it was almost unreal. They made what could have been a miserable experience, so pleasant. They were the most professional, hospitable, lovely staff & I (and my family) feel fortunate to have been cared for with such kindness.

Yelp
This was a really disappointing Sheraton, charging tourist prices for truly below average lodging. If the price was a bargain, I'd consider a second star, but the Waikiki tax makes this place such a horrible deal. I would recommend not staying here. The building itself is showing its age -- the guest rooms are TINY, and aside from the bed and tv, your room will feel like a time capsule for the 1990s. Aging fixtures, a cramped bathroom, minimal floor space... just not good. To be fair, the room had a decent balcony, but again, they'll upcharge you for it based on the direction your room is facing. The "fitness center" has modern equipment -- cardio, machines, dumbbells. But it's housed in the convention center of the taller tower, with flimsy half-walls separating it from the rest of the ballroom. The pool area out front is heavily trafficked, and not that well-separated from the busy street right outside the hotel. Not much privacy. This Sheraton is sorely in need of updates/renovations. Until then, I don't know how they can justify charging such expensive rates for such a lackluster experience.

Yelp
Marriott hotels are in. A good example is Waikiki Beach they refuse to upgrade their outside areas like the rest of the hotels have participated in Because they don't wanna spend money. I try to spend a very little money anywhere in any Marriott very greedy company.

Yelp
Just came back from Oahu and we had stayed here for our trip. We've stayed here a handful of times because of it location and price. The hotel is less updated compared to Moana or Sheraton Waikiki but it is the cheapest of the three. The staff is great and friendly for most part but for some reason, the room they have given us has been disappointing for our past two stays. Coincidentally, the same person (I think his name was Geoffrey) has helped us with check ins. Prior to booking, I had called to ask where the rooms are for the ocean view in the Ainahau tower and I was advised that it's above the pool side of the tower. Both times, we were given a room above the Princess tower with the Diamond Head view. Customers pay extra for the Ocean so to get this room is misleading and disappointing. We've also stayed in their partial ocean view rooms which are on the International Market side of the Ainahau tower. For me, this is a better deal than paying extra for ocean view and be put in the Diamond Head view room that they consider. The best rooms, in my opinion, if you're going to get the ocean view are rooms xx48 and above of the Ainahau tower. (The xx being the floor). If you're staying in partial ocean view, the rooms xx57 and above of the Ainahau tower are great but any rooms on the International Market is about the same. The most disappointing thing about our last stay is that their were roaches in our room. (You can see in the picture) I'm sure they do their regular maintenance but just wanted to share our experience. Customers pay for resort fees (about $39 per day) and to experience this was very disappointing. We didn't use the parking garage but parking fee is $45 per day. For information, I'm a BonVoy member but only in the first level. We probably stay an average of 5 nights per year in a Marriott hotel. We don't see any perks of being a member at this level nor does the hotels we've stayed at offer anything for being a member. Overall, the hotel is good if you're not picky. But, after our last two stay here, we may be looking for another go-to hotel.

Yelp
This is a great hotel, and the middle of everything, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. Came here for a conference. So conference wise, I'd give it a 10/10. The staff went above and beyond, particularly Madonna and Greg. Madonna, learned all out teams name and was very tentative! We are Dec coming back again for a conference! In terms of the hotel. As I mentioned earlier it can be a good thing. Good- it was easy accessible to the beach, shops and good food. Bad because it was noisy. I got a partial view of the ocean, which was nice. No complaints here, how can you? You're in the middle of paradise!

Yelp
We had a free night certificate available and we decided to use it for our trip to Oahu. With the voucher, we were able to use a few thousand points on top of the redemption amount to get a standard room. Upon check in, they upgraded us to a city view room. We were actually able to check in about 3 hours early, so I was very thankful for that. The room was clean, but incredibly dated. I think I saw a sign stating that they're going to start refurbishing the rooms, so maybe the next time I'm in town, there will be newer rooms? The Sheraton Princess is very centrally located. There is the international Marketplace right next door and the Royal Hawaiian Center just a few blocks down. It's a block away from the beach, so you can walk over in less than 5 minutes. There are water stations on each floor for you to fill your water bottles. Everyone we encountered was super nice. Overall, since we didn't pay for the room, it was a good choice. But I do think there are better choices in the area for the same price.

Yelp
Just came home from at 11 night stay here. We got everything we wanted and the maid was always friendly when we passed her in the hallway. Room 1544. The view was nice. The location awesome even though it's not right on the beach, doesn't matter. Only one block away and you don't even notice the one block because you are right on the busiest part of Waikiki. EVERYTHING is walking distance, thank goodness because parking is horrible in Waikiki. So, even though $45 per night sounds expensive for parking... the hotel parking is WAY better than any lot. Note: They tell you it's $45 for 24 hours, but you actually get more than 24 hours depending on when you check in your car. We didn't buy the parking every night, but when we did, it was about 1.5 days because it's good thru midnight of the NEXT night that you check in. The accommodations were pleasant. Nothing special as far as the room goes, but we did have a view of some high risers and the ocean. Being on the 15th floor, we saw some rooftops, which aren't the best view, but hey.. it's ok. The staff seemed friendly. The bartenders fine. The bellboys fine. The greeters at the front circle, nice. The pool attendants were nice too. Didn't spend much time in our room and only hung out by the pool for one afternoon cuz we were constantly on the go. Knowing what I know now, this is a nice place to stay if you aren't going to be in your room much. PLUS, THEY HAVE THE BEST PILLOWS. I tried to look for a tag, but couldn't find one!! Wish I could buy those pillows for home!!

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed. The most expensive hotel I've ever paid for and the second to worst hotel ever stayed in. Let's start with the positives: 1. Prompt and friendly valet. 2. Really friendly and helpful concierge desk. 3. Decent pool but too small for a large hotel. 4. The one restaurant was adjacent to the pool. 5. Free bottled water in the room because I'm a Sheraton member. 6. OK breakfast in the restaurant but quite overpriced. 7. One friendly host in the restaurant first morning there. The negatives: 1. The furniture in my room had to be 60+ years old due to the style and how many layers of paint it had endured. 2. Bed was uncomfortable with pillows that were flat. 3. Could hear city noise with the patio door closed. 4. Yuch view of the destroyed lot across the street. 5. Gap along the bottom of the room door, letting me hear people walking, doors slamming, conversations all hours. 6. No air conditioning outside of the hotel room so the heat slaps you as soon as you step into the hall. 7. The bathroom had a florescent light bulb on the fritz. Maintenance came to replace it after 3 days. 8. The bathroom sink lacked any counter space, so I kept my things in the room. It looked like the prototype for prison sinks. 9. The shower had low flow, it was dark and the water went out to the floor. 10. No TV remote when I checked in and one was brought up after I called. 11. The TV automatically turned itself off after 30 mins. 12. No room service. 13. Charged a hefty rate to park a car in the garage as a hotel guest. 14. Overall outdated and everything needing serious cleaning and updates. 15. Curtain for the patio door was covered in black dust on the top left corner for about one foot in diameter. Also had holes in it. Reported and never cleaned or replaced. 16. Unable to open the patio door. 17. AC unit hidden behind a weird wooden door and it was crazy loud. 18. The one restaurant option gave me the worst nachos ever: fake guacamole, cold beans, and cheap mystery cheese. Another time I ordered their Hawaiian plate and the meat was tough and dried out so they replaced it with their shrimp plate which was all right.

Yelp
The hotel is alright (rooms don't even have microwaves) and it's centrally located. The staff is kind and helpful, but that's the end of it... If you have a car and leave in the mornings, you will literally feel like vultures are swarming because the employees (although dressed as if they are guests) are waiting in the parking garage. Not driving to find one or anything, just sitting in their cars watching you. There has not been one morning that I have not been asked "are you leaving" and then followed to my car. It's creepy.

Yelp
Absolute nightmare of a hotel to deal with. Our balcony reeks of fast food from our view at the resort was the top of a restaurant. The people that work here are horribly rude, and the restaurant is overpriced and disgusting. from the elevators to the self park area - nothing works except them charging your credit card.

Yelp
Unfortunately I will not be returning to this hotel, or probably Oahu ever again. I'd previously visited Maui, which was a wonderful and pleasant experience. I'm an overly polite and kind person to everyone that I meet, and it's nice when people are polite in return. That was certainly the case in Maui. Oahu is completely different. It's so built up and touristy, and the locals are unbelievably rude. I have been yelled at more times than I can count in the few days I've been here, even by people that work at this hotel. The parking attendant was especially atrocious, she was a middle aged woman with glasses. The front desk associates were a mix-a few were pleasant, but then half were very condescending and rude. You can forget about a good nights sleep here. It's in the center of the tourist area, with live shows outside the window every night that are very loud. Even with ear plugs it was difficult to sleep. Other reviewers have mentioned the elevators, that actually wasn't an issue during my stay. If you're looking for a nice relaxing experience in Hawaii, go to another island. And absolutely don't stay at this hotel. Abuse seems to have replaced hospitality here, and us tourists should take note. There is an overwhelming amount of homeless people around, which is very sad. I imagine the locals blame the tourists for their misfortune, which I'm sure is understandable.

Yelp
The room was small didn't have a grab bar for the bathtub for when you take a shower. It's very few electrical outlets. I was there 50 years ago. This room didn't seem to be any different from that one and this was supposedly the upgraded room. Basically, I hated the place although the view was great peanut on the 26th floor so that was nice And the people that did their room service. The women that did that cause I didn't see any menu that was on the room service folks were fantastic. Really liked them.

Yelp
I'm on the latest version of iOS and cant seem to delete this review. It just reminded me to not trust yelp reviews because of their shitty interface, not to mention their algorithm manipulation. Views are amazing, but if you're looking for complementary water grab the reusable water bottles and head to the water dispensary on your floor (in wall next to the ice machine). Again, fuck yelp.

Yelp
I would imagine a nice hotel chain to be immaculate with cleanliness and amenities but I was wrong. Dirty comforters and a smoke Detector going off 2am due to low battery. The start of my vacation has been rough.

Yelp
The Sheraton PK is the sister hotel to the Shearton Moana Surfrider. It's less upscale than the Moana, and it's not beachfront like the Moana, but we still had a great stay here and I would recommend it for the following reasons: 1) price - the rates are lower than Moana Surfrider, Royal Hawaiian, and the Sheraton Waikiki 2) location - conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki - and just across the street from Waikiki beach 3) self-park - currently the Sheraton PK is offering free self-parking for Kamaainas 4) Spalsh Bar - casual dining poolside - they have the best garlic chicken wings! 5) ping pong and Foosball tables near the pool - need to leave a picture ID with the bartender to get the ball and paddles - good fun for all! 6) with the Mariott app, you can check-in, check out, request guest services (additional towels, shampoo, etc.) It's not a trendy, lavish hotel like some of the other properties in Waikiki, but it's great for anyone who is on a budget but wants to stay in a prime location in Waikiki. We loved how Royal Hawaiian Center, International Marketplace and the beach are steps away from the hotel, and even better that Cookie Corner and Haagen Daaz is right outside of the hotel as well.

Yelp
Absolutely great! My family and I stayed there this week. We had a great time. The staff there was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms, facilities and pool were all so clean. My husband used the gym everyday we were there and he said it was extremely clean. I used the pool with my daughter every day and it was always clean. The pool area where the lounging chairs and cocktail tables are were always clean. I loved the pool the most because my daughter was tall enough not to have on her floaties and had so much fun! The rooms were very clean and well designed. The bathroom was nice and clean. I read some reviews about the bathrooms being outdated but mine was a normal bathroom, not sure what the others were referring to (maybe marble floors like Las Vegas does lol). The hotel has an area with games such as ping pong, cornhole, etc., so much fun! The hotel is literally located in like what here in Los Angeles we would call the Rodeo Drive (where all the high end shops are). When you walk out of the hotel there are two exits you can walk out to which both lead to the beach, which is literally 2 minutes away walking. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, I would absolutely book with them next year when we go for our annual family Hawaiian vacation.

Yelp
Located in Waikiki off Kaiulani Ave. it's an older hotel back in the day this and Royal Princess Hotel were the hotels to stay at. The outside definitely looks run downed but they still keep it up ok. The rooms are small and not fancy at all very basic. The staff we dealt with were awesome very friendly and helpful. Overall a good place to stay compared to most of the other hotels in Waikiki. More pics to come.

Yelp
Location was great, service was terrible! Breakfast stale with rancid fruit, staff rude, and elevators under construction (can't be helped) but absolutely no accommodations made. At some point, so many of us were using the staff elevators because we did not what to do and had a conference to attend

Yelp
Easy check-in. Hotel offers a wifi adapter with your stay, get it!! It's convenient and fast. Love the fact they have a pool table, ping pong table, a bar, entertainment Friday to Sunday. Yoga class in the early morning across hotel!! Very close to beach. All you need is here!

Yelp
If you are thinking of booking the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani I would recommend elsewhere. The hotel is old and is in need of serious updates. It looks like it has not been updated since the late 80's. The pool is very small and the towel guy could have had better customer service. The only good side is that it's next door to the International Market if you want to shop and eat there.
