Sheraton Princess Kaiulani

The hotel is an excellent location. You can walk to the beach across the street, check out a restaurant within walking distance and if you’re lucky, you’ll have a room with some beach view (as I did). The hotel is undergoing remodeling so be aware if that matters to you. My room seemed to have recently been remodeled. It was clean and had functioning AC. The bathroom had small vanity & shower curtains. (I personally appreciate a bigger vanity and shower doors.) Housekeeping service amazing.|| The reason for the three stars is because of the koi fish in the pool area. My personal opinion is if hotels will use fish or any animal for decorative purposes, they should at bare minimum provide the species with appropriate enclosure. The koi fish seemed too overweight for a minuscule pond. They could barely swim!!!!! It’s time to find them another pond! Also, I hear the mongoose preys on the bird traps. Let’s do better Sheraton!!

The rooms were very clean, but a bit dated and that's okay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was simple but still offered a great time for my family. My only gripe were the elevators that we not working that well and we were forced to take the stairs on several occasions. It can be tough if you're with very young kids or if you're elderly. Other than that, it was a great experience. Good location and close to the beach. For the price you're paying, it is worth the stay.

A nice hotel overall. Some low floor rooms in the back face a parking lot and best to avoid. Great pool deck and free beach towels. No hot tub. Activities at hotel were complementary. (See photo) Awesome location close to Waikiki beach.

Had the best time staying here for 10 wonderful days. Was so happy with the hotel. Huge shoutout to Carlos and the other guys at the pool. Everyday making us feel welcomed. Talking to the kids and making our stay here so much more fun. The hotel is older but has everything you could ask for. Everything is clean and has everything you could need. Was great to have access to laundry on-site. There is even a microwave down there to heat up left overs. So many activities on offer to join. The food at the splash bar is great. Can highly recommend the nachos, chips, tatter tots and fried chicken. The pool is awesome. Would love it to be open a bit later than 7pm. Same with bar, closing at 10pm but I'm guessing it is to lessen noise for hotel guest so no big deal. You can not beat the location. Perfect.

We had an awesome time here. The room was clean and had good AC. The staff was awesome. All were super kind and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and they restocked the complimentary water bottles and would also give you cold bottles at the front desk. The location was perfect. Just one street to cross before you got to the ocean and centrally located around a ton of shopping and restaurants and never once felt unsafe in the area. All in all a great stay.

Have been to Waikiki multiple times, this is the first time stay with PK. I was very pleased with my whole stay from check in to check out. Staff was polite, friendly and very helpful. Our room was in the Tower, on the seventeenth floor, city view, in a newly reno room. Little secret, you can see the ocean even from the city view room if you are high enough. The room was clean and fresh walls and carpet made for a very nice room and didn't break my budget. My room was quiet, not once did I hear a door close, anyone walking or an elevator. The pool area is large, clean and quiet for being right in the middle of Waikiki. The Splash Bar was great for Happy Hour. When I return I will not hesitate to stay here again!

Caro was an amazing host. She checked everyone in super quickly. Her smile was radiant. She was super kind. We asked her questions about where to eat and she gave us a great suggestion. Caro went above and beyond to link all of our reservations so we did not have to move rooms. She's a phenomenal person and I love her positive energy

Location, location, location. Average hotel for Waikiki. Staff was very polite. Had the added bonus of listening to Karaoke from a bar at the international market every night until midnight or later. Very unhelpful for getting a decent nights sleep. Always a wait at the elevators. One of the four elevators was down for repairs. One would sometimes never leave the lobby floor. Based on other reviews seems like this had been a problem for a while. Luckily the staff showed me where the service elevators were and said we should use those if we were waiting too long. Definitely will NOT be staying here again.
