Sheraton Quito Hotel

Hotel staff were particularly attentive and available. An outstanding member of the reception crew was Johnny. His kindness, assistance with all requests, and personable nature were greatly appreciated. This hotel had the most delicious, expansive, and beautiful breakfast spread I have ever seen. Top notch!!

Stayed as part of an organised tour. It was about an hour from the airport and is situated very close to a luxury shopping centre and about 6 stops on the train to the old town. Rooms are spacious and welcoming, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast could fill you up for the day and the in house restaurant pretty good too. |The bed was comfortable and if it weren't for the altitude headache acclimatisation, I'd have slept very well. |The shower is luxurious with plenty of toiletries and thick towels provided. Coffee in the rooms is not great, but you can always go down to the bar and buy one, though it's not cheap. Two bottles of water are provided in the room.

The rooms were very good, clean and comfortable. I was not happy with the meals. I was with Road Scholar so we had limited selection for meals. he first night I had the fish and it was over cooked and dry. I find this often and usually ask for it to be medium. The second night I had the filet and it was very tough. i had asked for it medium rare and it was well done. I realize that would probably have been different if It was not part of a mass serving.

This is a clean, modern hotel with professional and conscientious staff who made us feel at home. The bed was very comfortable and the water in the shower hot and strong. The property is in an amazing location surrounded by restaurants and stores, a big mall, a giant park with paddle boats and botanical gardens, all surrounded by beautiful views of the Andes mountains. There is also a Sixt car rental a couple minutes walk away, and we had a great experience with them too.

Great hotel that offer everything you need. Spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly and professional staff and stunning breakfast buffet. The only thing that needs to be improved is the unpleasant smell of the sauna in the gym area.

Ambassador review: Good location and a decent property. The lounge was nice and I appreciated its location built into the floor and available 24/7, rather than sectioned off and closed, like at a lot of properties. Unfortunately there were AC issues for multiple days during my stay, but the hotel eventually provided a special cooling unit for the room that helped a bit. This was after repeatedly speaking to front desk staff, who seemed rather unbothered by the issue. My room reached 28 Celsius for multiple days. Service could vastly improve in that regard, but Alejandro in housekeeping was one of the few highlights here. He was very nice and had great energy.

Very centrally located, close to a mall and many eateries around. The hotel is well maintained, although certain things need a better up keep. Staff are friendly and rooms are slightly old. But a good choice to stay if you want to be in a nice and safe area.

I was having a terrible night and Omar at the front desk saved it. My flight was cancelled while I was at the airport and called the front desk on a panic, they were able to get me a room at 1am. As soon as I arrived the staff descended to grab my bags and help me get checked in. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud and the shower was refreshing after a stressful experience. Breakfast in the morning had tons of choices and I never felt rushed while waiting in the lobby for a few hours before my flight after checking out. Everyone was so nice and helpful, I will be staying again when I am in Quito next.
