Had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Quito as a Bonvoy Platinum elite. The building itself is not that impressive but it's the inside that counts. Location is very good with tons of restaurants at walking distance plus one block away from a shopping mall although a bit far from tourist landmarks so this is something to consider. Room was fine as expected from Sheraton in one of the Club floors with nice comfortable mattress and bedding. Loved the daily bottles of water, in-room coffee/tea maker, and the ability to open the window for fresh air. Wi-fi worked great and the room had several power/USB outlets near the bed. Nice touch to have complimentary water and juice plus banana bread in the hotel lobby. One disappointing thing was that there were no robes/slippers in the room. As Platinum, I was given access to the Sheraton Club lounge on the 10th floor, which was awesome with breakfast 6:30-10 AM and dinner 6-9 PM Monday-Friday; I didn't try the breakfast but tried dinner on two separate occasions, which were both great with beef, pork one day and fish, chicken another day, both days with different appetizers/soup/rice/veggies and delicious desserts. Lounge has limited service on Saturday/Sunday, so instead they provide access to their on-site restaurants: brunch 6 AM-12 Noon and dinner 6-9 PM. I went to brunch both days and it was fantastic with international and traditional Ecuadorian breakfast/lunch options...a $28 value! I was able to check-out at 3 PM as a Platinum benefit (until 4 PM.) In addition, the exercise room (Sheraton Fitness) looked good with cardio/weights/machines plus jacuzzi/sauna/steam room and massage rooms (did not use.) There is no pool. Staff were really nice. All in all a 4.5 terrific stay as a Platinum elite so rounding up to 5.
