Sheraton Quito Hotel

I am very surprised that a five star hotel will not be able to offer decent vegetarian dish in their room service. I was not feeling well and had to resort to the hotel room service. Oh, I wish I didn't have to rely on that. Options are pizza, pasta or salad. And the funny thing is that they will not try to even offer an option, even when I expressed my preference related to gluten, all I got is "sorry" from two different people. I think that in this time and age, hotels who want to maintain their category and name especially are supposed to be able to start thinking out of the box and be able to offer food for people with dietary requirements. Not sure if the hotel is on cost saving mode, but again a five star hotel has the basics in their rooms like slippers, amenities as cotton buds, etc.... Not in this hotel, you don't get these and you have to ask for them. My understanding is apparently different and expectations too high,if one can put an ask for vegetarian meal and slippers as an unreasonable demand.

This is your typical American style hotel. Rooms are clean and good sized for a city. Breakfast spread is nice but there is a major problem. The front desk staff is not well trained on how to properly check people in. On two separate stays over a week period I had different people check me differently. One of the times I was charged upon check in and check out. The hotel is starting it will take 21 days to refund me which is absurd. I insisted that I already paid and showed the front desk staff the charge and she said it was only a hold but I said you've charged me 3 separate times. Sure enough I was correct. One odd thing is they charge you and make you sign for your entire stay upon check in. This causes you to not have a card on file (even if it's in your Marriott account) which leads you to have to pay separate if you want room service or anything else. It's a very odd system but very frustrating. Fix this and train your staff on a consistent check in process. Also using the app to check in is useless and a waste of time. Stated I used the app to check in and was told they didn't use that system. What a bummer if they fix these issues it's not a bad place to stay

Had a really nice stay here. Amenities were good and the staff were very attentive and super friendly. I especially appreciated my man Alejandro from the housekeeping staff, always put a smile on my face talking to him in the morning during what was otherwise a pretty stressful work trip.|| Only gripe was the lack of water at the gym which is accentuated by the fact most guests wouldn’t be acclimated enough to the flora in the water to drink tap water.

I had the pleasure of staying overnight at the Sheraton Quito. The overall experience was delightful, with the receptionist displaying exceptional helpfulness and friendliness. The room surpassed our expectations, offering a pleasant, spacious, and impeccably clean environment. Both the evening room service and breakfast were of high quality. I extend my gratitude to all staff members for contributing to a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt, we look forward to choosing this establishment for our future stays.

Glad we switched from AirBNB to Sheraton. We heard the gang took over the street and decided to ditch unknown area and prefer safety. The area has a lot of restaurants and cafeteria. It was one of the best thing we did in Ecuador.

It is in the middle of everything. Pamela met me at the front desk. She was helpful since she knew I had just traveled for 24 hours. The service throughout the hotel was superb. Grethel, Roberto and Germathia were all delightful with meals and directions. Daniel attended to my room needs every day. There is a shuttle to the airport which is about 15 miles away from the hotel. Fabulous hotel.

A very modern, functional and well-designed venue, ca. 30-40 minutes drive from the airport. Friendly reception staff. The room was originally prepared for a single person use, yet – once claimed – was mitigated reasonably quickly. Well-equipped executive lounge at the 10th floor. Nicely decorated breakfast area, with reasonable selection of food and beverages.|Located in Quito’s center, direct proximity to a large shopping mall and the Olympic Stadium. A hop on-off bus stop (Quito Tour Bus) is just a 3-minute walk.

Sheraton Quito is located across the street from a mall. There are many shops and small restaurants that are easily accessible from the hotel. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. You can also easily arrange transportation and tours with the hotel.
