Sheraton Hotel • Escazú

We had a very pleasant experience. Our stay was only one night and I wish it was longer. The hotel is very nice. Super clean with incredible staff that were very helpful and polite. The rooms were spacious, with the most comfortable beds. The shower was hot and the soaps provided smelt wonderful. There were enough towels for everyone. I had forgotten a toothbrush and within minutes housekeeping provided me with a kit that included a toothbrush and toothpaste. The in room coffee was delicious with a user friendly machine so it was easy to make. There was also 2 complimentary water bottles which was greatly appreciated, as well as a water station next to the elevators. The breakfast that was included offered delicious coffee, and a beautiful selection of fruit pastries and an assortment of hot foods. There was plenty of selection, including gluten free bread and other options. Overall our stay was comfortable and very enjoyable.

I had an awesome stay at the Sheraton San José and honestly didn’t want to leave. Everyone there is just super friendly—always smiling—and it really makes you feel welcome right away. The food was way better than I expected, with a lot of variety. The buffet breakfast at Curu is the perfect way to start the day, and the coffee is seriously good. Roma, the Italian spot right next to the rooftop bar, was one of my favorite parts—pasta in the cheese wheel was unreal, the Roma Spritz hit the spot, and the T-bone and mushroom risotto were both amazing. After dinner, the rooftop on the 8th floor is a great place to hang out, meet people, and just enjoy the vibe. The lobby bar also surprised me—really good steak. I had the New York Strip and the Picanha and both were legit. If you’re into sports, the casino bar is cool to catch a game, grab a drink, and even play a little if you’re feeling lucky. I stayed in a suite and it was totally worth it—especially because it gave me access to the Club Level on the 7th floor. It’s super chill up there, and you can always grab something to snack on, get a drink, or just relax. The area around the hotel is nice and safe, and they’ve got tour options for any budget if you want to explore a bit. This place really made my time in San José feel special—I’ll definitely be back. I hope all the staff reads this—they’re just amazing people and they truly make you feel at home.

Super nice hotel. Room was spacious and ways clean. Toiletries were good. The breakfast, while selection is not wide, was good. Room service was also good and efficient. Staff were always attentive and helpful. There’s also a free car service to nearby establishments. I was here for a business trip and my company was included in the list of free companies. It had a gym and a swimming poil at the rooftop. Location wise, it’s a 5-min walk to Multiplaza Escazu. So you have a wide selection of restaurants and shops.

This hotel is vary nice we were debating going closer to san jose but ultimately we chose this instead the. The lounge on the 7th floor was amazing with the best Chef and amazing buffet. and we had a cool room with a awsome view of the mountains . Randall is amazing 🤩

Great location, very quiet, Casino on property as well. Great staff, foods were great as well. Booked a Club Floor Corner room with Balcony. My only complaint was there was only lukewarm water available in the sinks, kinda tough to shave with, but the showers 🚿 were Rainfall type and were awesome, no issues with water temps. I would highly recommend this place and will be returning in the future.

Stayed here multiple times. Usually it is good. This time there was multiple random beeping so loud in the hallway at 11:00 pm, loud neighbors having a party - now at 11:30 pm and the room was not cleaned properly. Blood on the sink. Hair not my color in the shower, entry, carpet and bathroom floor… Was really disappointed. I will reconsider my next stay. I asked to change rooms and he said sorry for my problem…

Very good accommodation. Pleasant and quiet rooms. Nice club lounge. Special thanks to lounge host Jacslyn for taking great care. She made sure I don't leave hungry. Amazing service!|Breakfast with a solid offer. There is a pool, gym and steam room.

Avoid hotel. I booked a room for my family of 4. When I got there they stated that they needed to charge an extra $50 per kid per night because it only showed 2 adults for the reservation. Which is always how I do it (I travel weekly for work). Never had an issue but this place is trying to take and make money off you. As someone who is Titanium status I found it to be ridiculous. I could’ve just gotten a really nice Airbnb. So that’s what I did, stayed one night and went and booked a Airbnb. Not to mention the room smelled and wasn’t clean. Hair on the floors and blood in the sink
