First off, this hotel is ocean front. From the time that I pulled in the resort, the butlers greeted me. Then I walked in and the check in process went flawlessly. I asked certain questions about the local supermarket and spirits store and they were answered with grace. I’m a Titanium Elite member with Marriott so I was honored a free upgrade to one of this hotels full ocean front rooms. The room had spectacular views. Also, because of my Elite status, I was able to enjoy two snack meals a day at the lounge. This was extremely joyous because after a long day of sight-seeing, you can become famish but the Club lounge was 24 hour access. I additionally, had a personal concierge service personal. She was amazing and she had the softest most welcoming voice ever. She told me that I had one complimentary massage. So I took advantage of that and the masseuse there, Teresa was absolutely amazing. I was unaware as to the point of total bliss that I needed but her hands were magical and I actually fell asleep. Besides he very helpful demeanor she was the definitely the nicest person in DR. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was filled with local dishes and it was complimentary as well. Please, if you want a feeling of royalty and seclusion like I desired then I strongly suggest this hotel for all Bonvoy members.
