My friend and I arrived at the Sheraton at 5pm ready to check in to the hotel. The staff told us our room would be ready in about 10 minutes. Ten minutes later, the staff tells us the room will be ready in another ten minutes. We were then given two free drink coupons - which we learn later are only good for nonalcoholic beverages. Forty five minutes after arriving, we are told our room would still need another ten minutes. We were confused as check in was at 3pm. Additionally, my friend arrived at noon and tried to check in early so the staff was aware that we were going to need the room as soon as possible. Anyway, we finally receive our room keys three hours after check-in time (6pm) and we are given zero compensation for this delay. Free breakfast would have been the minimum. Nonalcoholic beverage coupons were a joke. I responded negatively to a survey that I was prompted to fill out when connecting to the WiFi and a staff member contacted our room to apologize, saying they would reach back out to compensate us. No one ever followed back up after calling about the survey. The pool was fine, the food at the pool was average, and the air conditioning was glitchy. The location was perfect for what we needed- quick Ubers to zona colonial.

The service at this hotel is horrendous. On Friday night there was 1 person working the reception with a line of people waiting to check in. The breakfast was 32 USD which is a weekly pay for many locals. The cleaning personell stole my hat. The security guy tried to kick me off the property even though I showed him a hotel key. The staff at the pool does nothing. 4 of them ware sitting aroud doing nothing while we waited to put in a food order. When I asked for a printed room service menu I was told there is one on TV but the staff does not know how to access it. Awful! Will not stay here again! Ps. Asked to speak to the manager multiple times, the manager never contacted me. On sunday I was told "tomottow" and on Monday - manager not here today. And this is sheraton? ewww...

It was great staying at this hotel , very clean and friendly staff. The concierge service was excellent with great food. The friendly staff with great service , Ana Santos and Argenis M was very hospitable and very respectful. They made us feel welcoming. Good at breakfast was great. The place is at great spot.

The Sheraton center of Domingo was an excellent experience. The staff were amazing and welcoming, and very helpful. The concierge was especially helpful and the lounge was well appointed and staffed. Nelsy, Argenys and Nelson made the stay exceptional.

Every time I go to sheraton santo domingo I get treated like its my 2nd home from all staff. Room always ready to check in with upgrade du to my elite status,nelsy montas elite deck 10th floor was very helpful and warm welcome for me cant9 wait to go back to sheraton santo domingo.
