A great night seeing the infamous String Dusters from The balcony front row. Easy access to the bar and clean bathrooms down below.

Little has been done over the years to the venue which has beautifully maintained it's character. The setting is intimate and they keep the audience respectful. The seats on the front row on the balcony are the most uncomfortable things I've ever sat in. There is almost no leg room. There was no air moving so the air was stale and it was warm. But the intimate setting of the concert helped to make up for it. I'll be back, but not in the front row on the balcony.

Quaint and cool historic live music venue with standing room only general admission (the night i went, anyway). They have pretty big up and coming names, like the band i saw, called Shovels and Rope. It was sold out. The facilities were nice, including a bar, and there were lots of interesting and historic photos and memorabilia on the walls. Loved it. And Telluride.

Visited the Opera House to attend the Bach to Bach performance with musicians Ben Breen (violin) and Zuill Bailey (cello). I would definitely see another show or performance there as the venue was historic and unique. We had a pre-performance drink at the lower level bar. Fun night in Telluride.

Great concert venue with a large bar on the first floor. Great experience for a ski week night.

Such a beautiful, intimate listening room. Our seated event was for 250 people and the sound was amazing. Long live, live music!

Yelp
So fun! Amazing drinks and ambiance! Great service, we felt welcome the moment we walked up! We just stopped to listen to the live music and have a drink before dinner. We didn't regret it!

Yelp
I was here for the horror film fest, and it's a beautiful and interesting venue. I prefer the balcony seating, as it seemed easier to get a seat closer to the door and not have to worry about climbing over people. If you have the opportunity, sit both on the floor and in the balcony to get the full experience. The seating on the floor doesn't have an aisle so it can be a little difficult to navigate. The floor creaks, but I mean, come on--it's an old venue. Concessions were appropriately priced. I hope to come back someday!

Yelp
This is my favorite venue in Telluride for the nightlife scene. We ventured in after dinner to discover a Fleetwood Mac tribute band called Rumours was performing. The staff was inviting, crowd friendly and bartenders spirited displaying a variety of delicious specialty drinks that worked their liquid courage magic. We danced the night away, arm in arm with strangers that quickly became friends and were swooned by the magical melodies of Fleetwood Mac's arguably best tribute band ever. Thank you Sheridan Opera House and beautiful Maggie! Right On!

Yelp
We came here because we saw a poster for Emily Scott Robinson and decided that it would be a fun evening. Her show was held on the first floor. The space was intimate and warm. There was a small bar with some rocking drinks, the bartenders were friendly and had good suggestions. The show was fun and unique and we had a great time, we are happy that we decided to go. We had a fun evening out in a great setting.

Yelp
Just remember this Grand Dame of a 1800's theatre was built for live performances. A few balcony seats in the corners are to be avoided due to partial or obstructed views. It's a jewel box that's been lovingly restored and in demand for all kinds of performance.

Yelp
We had our wedding reception recently at the Sheridan Opera House. We were lucky enough to have gotten the only open Saturday in the summer-- and it was beyond our expectations. The venue is amazing, the staff was super easy to work with and the possibilities seemed limitless. We were able to pick our caterer, use their tables/chairs, hire a band and sound engineer, etc. with no problems. The Sheridan Opera house is a gorgeous historic venue and it really screamed "TELLURIDE!" to us and our guests-- which is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended as a venue for special events and weddings-- you'll love it!

Yelp
This theatre is great. It's beautiful inside and all the seating gives you a good view of the stage.
