Sadly, our first two experiences with Sherman's were pretty good, so it made the last (ever, since we're never going back) experience all that much more disappointing. We purchased some electronics about 4 years ago, those are fine, then we made another couple of large purchases 3 years ago: A fridge, washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Over $5k if I recall.
All around the same time, the ice maker on the fridge, the dishwasher, and the dryer shut down on us. I basically have two oversized lumps of metal, and one fridge that only half works.
I called today to find out about what kind of warranty we had, and the person who took my call, without even asking my name, phone number, address, etc. said "Nope, you have no warranty on any of your appliances any more." That was it. Apparently, she'd looked up my info based on caller ID, which I get, but it was a very abrupt way to tell someone "You threw away your $5k when you shopped with us." No other information to share with me, didn't say "We do have service or let me get you a manager" nothing. Just "Sorry, you're out of luck." I mean, yuck. That is possibly the worst customer service we've ever had.
So, we have to purchase a new dishwasher, a new dryer, get service on our fridge, and next year we're purchasing a new living room set and we need a new bed for our son. NONE of those purchases are going to Shermans, due to their terrible customer service.
