We are painting a baby crib and had a lot of questions on the right paint to use. Jeff was super helpful in answering our questions and recommending products we would need to safely paint the crib.

Recently had a paint project and decided to skip the big box stores ( always thought they were cheaper and better service ). Boy was I mistaken. Dillion and his team went above and beyond to help me with my project. About to tackle other paint and staining projects because of the SW team at this location.

Had a project and had no clue what I was doing. I told Dustin I had a budget and details of the project and helped me every step of the way. He told me the options I had, the materials I would need, and was able to explain the difference in the options to allow me to make an informed decision on my first project. That was 5 days ago and I already went back to start another,

Phenomenal experience with Dillon! He offered clarity on finishes of paint, and how light or darkness impacts the sense of space in a room!

Not that it matters, because this store doesn't care about their customers. Avoid this place like the plague, they sell defective products, that they know are defective by their own admission. Also, if you try and return the products they gaslight you about doing it wrong, because obviously the minimum wager at the store knows better than the people working with these products regularly. On top of that, I mentioned the inconvenience of having to go to another story because of this, and was told that's not that far. I guess some people's time is more valuable than others. The attitude here "who cares, bye!" I count the days until Home Depot crushes your stores out of business. Bye!

This was my first experience ever painting, and I was very nervous about it, technique, color, etc. The customer service at the store that I visited was amazing! Taylor helped me to pick out the right supplies, explained the different sheens, types of paint quality, etc. I thought he spent more time and had more patience with me than I ever expected from anyone! He really wanted me to be happy with my purchases, feel comfy using the tools (brushes, pan, extender, etc.). Super friendly and patient. Above and beyond!

My partner and I needed to match a specific shade of white to touch up our apartment before moving out and the employees were SUPER helpful and involved, ensuring that we left with the best possible paint to match it. Thanks guys!

Okay so I know from Tommy Boy that it is not healthy to eat paint chips when you are a child. But what about when you're an adult? I am pretty sure that within the last couple days of painting my new apartment that I have accidentally ingested about a half gallon. The other half was on purpose... just kidding. No I'm not. My apartment was painted pretty cute when I first moved in, but I wanted to add a touch of me since I'll be staying here for a bit. I stuck my face into a few home decorating magazines and came up with a "never-gonna-happen-Melody-what-are-you-thinking-you-can-barely-finish-a-paint-by-number-unicorn-poster" kind of design for my living room. I scooted (drove actually--who scoots anymore) on over to my local Sherwin-Williams shop with a picture of my future living room. I plopped the picture down, smiled sweetly at the cashier and said, "Hi. I have no idea what I'm doing." The dude must have been born on a paint farm. Anthony gave me exactly what I needed to do the job including a few pointers. He loaded me up with drop cloths, brushes, paint cans, rollers, and tape. I was on a bit of a budget, so it was cool of him not to up-sale me even when it was clear that he could of told me that I needed 50 gallons of paint for one wall. He even hooked me up with a neighborhood discount before carrying my supplies to my car. I actually went into the store initially asking for an estimate so I wouldn't be roped into buying all kinds of shiz. He didn't even think he was going to make a sale off of me at first, and he was still so helpful. You're the man, paint man. So if you get a wild hair after watching the Home Design Network, go see Anthony over at SW on Henderson. P.S. I went back today to pick up some extra stuff and my paint man wasn't there. However, Stephen (the other paint dude) was there, and was super nice and helpful. High five for the kick ass customer service.

I really like this store. The service is so much better than the Oak Lawn Store. I bought a roller from Walmart in a kit. I put 3 coats of paint down using the Walmart roller and still saw brush strokes on the wall. I took a picture of the brush strokes and went to the SW store on Sunday. Brought back paint I needed and one of their recommended rollers. No more brush strokes. In the long run the money I saved at Walmart ended up costing me more money in the long run.

Caleb is a gem . So friendly and helpful!! I have no clue about paint but he was so helpful and patient and answered ALL of my question plus gave me some good painting tips.

I'm a huge fan of this store. Becca is extremely knowledgeable and when one of my colors didn't look as good on the wall as I had expected (my fault, not the paint -- I probably should have tested it on the lurid green paint that the previous owners had on the wall!), she helped to remix it so that I could have nice gray walls and complete hide the weird green that was present before. The good service and high quality products have made me a repeat customer here.

We visited the store on Mockingbird first and got the worst service so we decided to try this store. Amazing! Caleb could not have been nicer or more helpful! We asked the same questions, they had almost the same stock and we walked out with everything we needed and more! If you need paint and live in East Dallas or Lakewood, drive right by the Mockingbird store and head to Henderson.

Incredibly helpful. Even talked me out of the horrid banana yellow color I really wanted and talked me into a rich, buttery, creamy yellow that is fantastic. Skip Home Depot and head to Sherwin-Williams.
