We loved it here! Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights in a family suite. The room was enormous, service was perfect. Staff was always extremely helpful and accommodating. We never got to use the pool but our vegan kiddo loved the restaurant. Location was just slightly out of downtown but easily walkable and we were glad to be out of the hubbub at night. Would happily stay here again.

We choose Shewe Wana for it's location for an easy walk from the Chiang Mai train station. For our first 2 nights in Chiang Mai we just wanted to rest as we were coming back for another 3 nights later. We had a very nice stay and are recommending Shewe Wana to friends and family. Staff were all awesome and helpful We had a room on the top floor (22), overlooking the pool It was large and clean. Breakfast was generous and lovely Plenty of places to eat local outside with street carts and restaurants. Supermarket very close also.

Very nice spacious rooms. Best breakfast ever! The fluffy pancakes are delicious.|Not too crowdy. Staff was extremely helpfull. One night we came back quite late from a dinner and I had a very swollen leg & foot. A staffmember returned from his home to the hotel to help me out with ice and special ointment. Very friendly and great service!

I had an amazing stay here during my first visit to Chiang Mai! I stayed four nights and the whole team, especially Rose and Kate, made me feel super welcome and at home. The room itself was gorgeous, and the only issue I had was with mosquitoes the first night (I think they were let in because the security guard opened the room door and left the light on for a while before I arrived). There is a mosquito net above the bed which was comforting to have, even if it became a bit difficult to navigate out of during the middle of the night! The breakfast was simply outstanding, especially the fresh fruit and the a la carte options, including French toast, pancakes, omelettes, fried egg on avocado toast, etc. Be careful with mosquitoes in the breakfast and pool area, though. Wear some bug spray and long sleeves and ask for the fans and incense to help ward off the skeeters. I enjoyed the location being a bit off of the beaten tourist path, and I found a bevy of delicious+cheap local food options nearby in the Wat Ket neighborhood, especially Kanomjeen Sanpakoi, Aroi Tom Yum Zap, F Care, Black Single Coffee, and various other street food stalls and noodle shops with Thai names. For any pharmacy needs, I really recommend Kittichiengmai Pharmacy down the street - the family running the place is super friendly and I was able to get a few needed things there for a good value and with help and support. Don't overthink it, stay at Shewe Wana! :)

We stayed in this boutique hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Kate and her colleagues at the reception were extremely helpful booking (and changing..) tours for us. On our last day they booked us a driver/ guide instantly to go to see some nice temples outside Chiangmai. Nice rooms with great service from everyone. Highly recommended!

I had the greatest pleasure of staying at this hotel for a month while I was training at the Muay Thai gym across the street. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff beyond friendly and accommodating (some of the sweetest people that you'll meet). The room itself was spacious and clean/well stocked, and the shower was wonderful. They have two pools that you can swim in, and the cafe's food is delicious! I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I was still able to find delicious items on the menu.||If you want to stay at a friendly, well kept spot near Old City but in a peaceful atmosphere, I highly recommend this spot.
