Super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel felt like a green oasis in the city. 2 small pools. We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite. Buffet breakfast choice was okay but not extensive. However the French toast for breakfast was sensational! The building felt quite old in places but don’t let that put you off as it is well looked after. It took 10-15 minutes to walk to the night bazaar which is well worth a visit. We would stay there again.

Really nice hotel with helpful, friendly staff.|Breakfast is great with a choice of tasty dishes as well as fresh fruit & yoghurt.|The front of the property is very deceiving, when you go inside, it’s like a tropical oasis.|2 pools, both small but adequate. |Rooms are nice and beds are comfy.|Unusual lock on the door but this adds to the charm.|Decent location just over the river. Only cost us a couple of pounds in a grab into the centre.|Nice and quiet but within easy reach of attractions.

Our stay at Shewe Wana Boutique hotel was wonderful. It’s in a quirky older building with every bit yard full of exotic plants. It has two swimming pools ( one medium, one small, neither are heated). The staff are wonderful, they are friendly and helpful, wishing to make their guests as comfortable as possible, including catering for my gluten-free food requirements.|The hotel is beside a busy- ish road about 15 minutes walk from town.|The ambience of the hotel is quiet and relaxing ( it was truly quiet at night), the beds are comfortable, and I especially appreciated the mosquito nets over the beds.|I would definitely return to Shewe Wana hotel.

We loved it here! Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights in a family suite. The room was enormous, service was perfect. Staff was always extremely helpful and accommodating. We never got to use the pool but our vegan kiddo loved the restaurant. Location was just slightly out of downtown but easily walkable and we were glad to be out of the hubbub at night. Would happily stay here again.

Shewe Wana Boutique Hotel is a true hidden gem in Chiang Mai! The staff and owner are incredibly kind and accommodating, making my stay feel so special. Its location is perfect, just a short walk from Phae Gate, yet it feels like an oasis amidst the busy streets. The enclosed rooms, lush greenery, and lovely pools create a peaceful retreat. Celebrating the New Year countdown here was magical. Highly recommend this charming hotel for its exceptional service and serene ambiance!

Stayed there during our honeymoon. Room was small but beautiful und clean. Staff was very attentive and surprised us with flowers and nice decorations of our room. Thank you very much for the good time we had to all members of staff!

We choose Shewe Wana for it's location for an easy walk from the Chiang Mai train station. For our first 2 nights in Chiang Mai we just wanted to rest as we were coming back for another 3 nights later. We had a very nice stay and are recommending Shewe Wana to friends and family. Staff were all awesome and helpful We had a room on the top floor (22), overlooking the pool It was large and clean. Breakfast was generous and lovely Plenty of places to eat local outside with street carts and restaurants. Supermarket very close also.

We stayed in this boutique hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Kate and her colleagues at the reception were extremely helpful booking (and changing..) tours for us. On our last day they booked us a driver/ guide instantly to go to see some nice temples outside Chiangmai. Nice rooms with great service from everyone. Highly recommended!
