A very nice and new mall that also housed the Shibuya Sky and observatory that overlook the area, giving you a clear view of the infamous Shibuya Crossing below. The mall is full of retail options and home to many Japanese handicrafts and crafts, which are intriguing and nice. Would love to buy them all! Haha. There were also some nice cafes and restaurants to choose from. Overall, it was a good shopping experience here.

Shibuya Scramble Square is absolutely worth a visit while you’re in Tokyo. One of the main highlights is the view from the top, where you get to see the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing from above. Watching the organized chaos of people crossing in every direction is surreal—it’s one of those things that truly feels like Tokyo. 🛍️ Shopping, Food & Coffee The building itself is packed with great stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. So even if you don’t make it to the top, it’s still a really nice place to hang out and explore. But seriously, go to the top—it’s the star of the show. 🎟️ Get Your Ticket in Advance If you’re planning to visit for sunset or late afternoon, I highly recommend buying your ticket ahead of time. Those time slots are popular and tend to sell out quickly. You don’t need to print the ticket—just show the QR code on your phone. 🧥 Dress for the Weather If you’re visiting around late March, don’t take warm clothes—it can get pretty hot at the top during that time. Despite the weather, the experience is totally worth it. 🍹 What’s at the Top Once you’re up there, you’ll find a bar with drinks. The food isn’t anything special—more like quick bites than a full meal—but it does the job if you’re just looking to enjoy the view with a drink. There are also lockers where you can store your bags, because they don’t allow large bags upstairs—only your phone and wallet are allowed with you. 📸 Photos & Views There’s a professional photographer stationed at a corner offering to take your picture with the view behind you. It looks fun, but honestly, the price was a bit high for what you get, so we passed on it. If you’re into souvenir photos, though, it’s an option. 🌇 Timing It Right If you’re visiting during summer or warmer months, sunset would be the ideal time—just be aware those tickets go fast. The golden light and the city view make for a breathtaking scene. Also, don’t miss the hotspot photo areas these are perfect for capturing those unforgettable views. You’ll find designated spots, usually in the corners of the building, where you can place your phone securely to take amazing photos or videos with the skyline behind you. The backgrounds are stunning, especially at sunset or nighttime when the city lights come alive. These little details make a big difference in your experience, so be sure to walk around and find the best angles—they’re totally worth it! ✨ Final Thoughts Overall, Shibuya Scramble Square is a great place to visit for the views, the atmosphere, and the experience of being in one of Tokyo’s most iconic locations. It’s clean, modern, and full of energy. Don’t miss it!

Google
Great experience but the crowds within 1h of sunset are wild. 1.5h+ waiting to enter just before sunset. You have unlimited time at the top to enjoy though!

Cool place to explore. If you looking for food (bento etc) with good prices check out the B2F, how about groceries ? B1F is for you. For expensive restaurants go right away at 12F and 13F. Location: just next to shibuya station

Google
Shibuya Scramble Square is a super modern and stylish shopping spot right in the heart of Shibuya. There’s a big mix of stores, from high-end fashion to lifestyle goods and souvenirs, so it’s a fun place to just walk around and see what catches your eye. The food choices are great too, with everything from casual bites to cool cafes and nice sit-down restaurants. It’s best known for having Shibuya Sky, the rooftop observation deck, but not everyone can make it up there because of tickets or time. The good news is you can still enjoy awesome views from the 12th or 13th floor where there are restaurants and bars that look out over the famous Shibuya Crossing. It’s a great option if you want to chill and take in the scenery without the extra planning. Whether you’re there to shop, eat, or just explore, Shibuya Scramble Square is a great place to feel the modern vibe of Tokyo.

Google
View @ Shibuya Scramble Square. . The tallest building in Shibuya, standing at 230 meters tall, this modern skyscraper houses a diverse shopping complex, offices, and observation decks. . To no surprise, it's typically crowded.

Nice big mall with good selection of food places (12-14th floor) and lots of shopping. If you are going to Shibuya Sky, come early - elevators took so long and it’s a big place so you can easily get lost. Nice views.

Yelp
It's a delayed yelp review, mainly about the Kagurazaka Saryo. The cafe is located right when you come out from shibuya sky. At first, I thought the restaurant looks nice but it's probably one of those where you're paying for the view with mediocre food. WRONG! My family wanted to go to the place so we ended up waiting for about 1.5 hours while walking nearby. The food was good. We ordered the eel set, pepper chicken set and the matcha parfait. Everything actually taste pretty good. My favorite was the matcha parfait. It's not overly sweet and has a good variety of ingredients. The food was reasonably priced. The only thing was service was a bit lacking, not sure if it's due to near closing time for lunch. Anyways, I would go back again if there's not such a long wait. The view is awesome!

Yelp
Shibuya Scramble Square is one of the newest shopping centers in the Shibuya area. It sits right above the famous shibuya scramble and you can definitely find a few spots here that you can have a birds eye view of one of the world's busiest street crossings. The crown jewel of the scramble square is the rooftop on the 46th floor. For a cost of about $16 US, you can have a birds eye view of Tokyo. It is pretty cool and I'm glad that I came at night. Sunset is the most popular time. If you do want to get a view of the "Shibuya Sky", then make sure you buy tickets as early as possible. I believe that I got my tickets a month in advance and I was not able to secure a sunset spot. I rated the Shibuya Scramble Square and the Shibuya Sky 3 stars because it's cool, but I wouldn't say that it's a must see attraction, that you couldn't get a similar view for free (check out the Tokyo Metropolitan Building for this), or that the shopping/food options are anything special; nevertheless, I thought that the $16 was well spent.

Yelp
Shibuya Scramble Square is a shopping mall that is conveniently located above Shibuya station and it's named after the world's most iconic pedestrian crossing. It has shopping and entertainment galore, plus a fabulous panoramic view of Shibuya Sky. We got some unique souvenirs and they only sell at Shibuya Scramble Square.

Yelp
The new gateway in Shibuya... No didn't go to the rooftop but did wished I did just didn't have the time but sure will make it the next time around lol! I remember when they were still under construction and the madness that surround it not aware of the detour I had to take when I took the wrong exit thinking I mastered it, not just here in Shibuya but any other major areas are no longer that simple it's good to research the exits so that you find your destination easily though there are the station staff that instantly directs you so don't be afraid to ask. Shibuya Scramble Square is obviously the newest modern shopping complex with various shops there was just too much to see and my go to list didn't include here so I just unknowingly took the route though here and was still confused where to go. Just wished there were more signage as this is one of the major hubs that connects to Shibuya Station as many construction work is going on climbing more stairs and going in circles only to see I was steps away was quite frustrating. Beautiful building with so much options is a great new addition I just need to be more aware. どうもありがとうございます!

Yelp
Great views of Shibuya Crossing (Free). Beautiful building with lots of shops and restaurants. It is also where Shibuya Sky is located (paid admission).

Yelp
Shibuya scramble square is right at the train station and the famous crossing area. Hachiko square is also right there and the shibuya sky observatory is on the top floor. The bottom floor is a gift shop for sweets and snacks. It's very very crowded but it looks delicious. There are many high end shops in the building. Highly recommend because it's a lot of fun but it's so so crowded. Hard to go shopping and walk around when there's so many people.

Yelp
This is the building with lots of shops and food. At the top, you can visit Shibuya SKY, which is a nice viewpoint of the city. Food is on B2F, B1F, and 1F. There's a Kinokuniya on B1F! If you're on ground level, you can access that easily by escalator or elevator. Clothing is from 2-8 F. Then there are other floors for shops and restaurants, but the 17-44 F are offices. To get to the topmost level (45 F), you may take the elevator that is near the center. It may be hard to find, but there are a lot of people lining up for it. This was a nice place to cool down from the summer heat.

Yelp
Located right at the Shibuya station, this is a modern shopping center. There are many floors of high end shopping, with a food court at the higher floors. This building is also where you can go to the roof, where Shibuya Sky is. There you can get a nice view of the city. Overall this place is nice to walk around and look at the variety of brands available.

Yelp
It's great views of the city and Shibuya crossing. But they're missing out on making so much more money. There should be a bar on the top of here.

Yelp
It was fleeeeekkin' awesome! When I went to the roof top, the sky was cloudless. One of the beets views in Tokyo. I wanna go back there at night again. Tip: If it's too windy, you can't go to tge roof top.

Yelp
Short Story: This office building has so many shops! Long Story: We came here as part of our time in Tokyo. We went to the first several floors in this building which are shops. Some of the floors and have very expensive items. The first floor has fancy cakes and pastries and are more affordable. The upper floors gave clothing, household items, etc. The building is very new and the customer service is superb (like most of things in Japan)! They have a tax free section where you must go to if you are a foreigner. There's also lots of good places to eat there so if you're hungry, no worries! Verdict: I'm coming back!

Yelp
This is a nice building with some higher-end shops and boutiques spread across 14 or so floors. As is typical in Tokyo department stores, the basement floors have a depachika or department store market. The one here was pretty big at around 2-3 floors, and the food looked good as well. You can either take the escalator between floors, elevator, or skip both if you are going straight to the observatory. I took the escalator and stopped at every floor just to look, but there were several floors I skipped over. There are multiple entrances to the tower including from Shibuya Station and also from outside via the large pedestrian intersection crossover. I visited the Scramble Square Skydeck which took forever to get into and out of, I did not anticipate this. Considering the fact that I was only going to be in Tokyo for 3 days as it was, I did not enjoy the idea of having to wait an hour after I already explored the building for a good hour just to use my timed pass, then wait about a half hour to get through the queue to go up, then wait 20 minutes in the queue to go down. I get that the place just opened but it felt like herding cattle. I don't know if purchasing an advanced ticket would have alleviated any of this, but if I had known I would have to wait an hour and come back, I would've went straight up to the ticket area and then explored the mall. Nevertheless, the wait was worth it because the view from the top is amazing, especially because the deck is open. I went at night and it was amazing to see as much of the Tokyo metro as I did. They don't allow bags though so you will have to lock them up for 100 yen. Overall, Shibuya Scramble Square is a nice new addition to Shibuya that offers many shopping options not unlike the other centers directly adjacent to it. It's connected to transit and has an expansive observation deck that is worth a visit. You want to get tickets to this online or BEFORE you check out the mall.

Yelp
Another mall in Shibuya. Come here for the observatory floor. It's only ¥1800 if you get the ticket online. The view is really nice.
