What To Do in Shibuya: Our Guide

"Walking into Shibuya Niku Yokocho is walking into an in-your-face wall of overstimulation. Hawkers from the complex's 26 separate restaurant stalls shout for attention, and the merriment of hundreds of patrons in the open, interconnected space is a never-ending salvo of sound." - Davey Young

Different dining experience. The weather is just right in March to dine in the open. There are multiple shops selling different food. This fried rice tastes weird, but the chazuke is good.

AVOID going to this place and any of the restarant on this strip. Totally tourist trap and not worth the price for the food they provided. We went there after visiting shibuya sky. 5 mins walk and the street looks. Really nice for photos. Staffs don’t speak much English and we were forced to ordered drink for everyone in the table. Kids pop 500yen and it’s flat. We ordered chicken and staff bring in lamb. Shrimp were supposed to be grill and it’s cold. Overall, I would not recommend people to go there at all.

nice atmosphere, that's why I gave 2 stars . food were ok . They charged table service without telling us or shown on menu and service was not that great . Very disappointed.

Amazing fast service! The food was great and flavourful. Our favourite dish was the seafood mix noodles, it had fried egg and pancake and variety seafood on top some fried noodles. High recommended!! 10/10

Came here to get away from the craziness of Shibuya. Had a few drinks and some food. We had a toddler with us and once he got bored we were able to walk to the park nearby before later returning for another drink!

The only good thing about this place is the atmosphere and design of the place. The food was the worst thing we had in a while, the waiting time was very long.. and for frozen gyozas it was literally not worth it. We also had to pay a sitting tax for which they gave us a small snack. That one was bad too. There are so many nice places in Tokyo that it’s not worth wasting your time here. It’s nice for having a beer, but that’s all.

This is a cool place if you’re looking for a drink and a quick bite at reasonable prices. It’s basically a bunch of Izakaya’s bunched together. Each one specializes in different items. The only problem I had is they were short handed when I went. So I had to share half a table with strangers to make it easier on the staff. The food was okay but probably not a place that I would frequent since I’m not a drinker.

Horrible experience at this place! Avoid at all cost!! Wish I read reviews before stumbling into this huge tourist trap!! Food was nasty, and very expensive!! Shrimps skewers were cold and not fresh at all and they had the nerve to charge over ¥3000 for 8 skewers!! We did not know the price as it was their “special” item! Overall we paid like ¥13000 for a few plates and beers!!
