You know that moment of where there are days in your life you just want to enjoy the joys of a great delectable meal with the super power to transport you away from your current predicament in life? Shikar is THAT place. The most attentive team of waiters- shout out to Sue particularly from Msia. A well curated and masterfully prepare fine dining cuisine that places back warmth and fire in my soul. I love love every moment there. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to experience the joy of eating and being alive. Please continue making great meals like this.

Shikar is a true gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine with exceptional flavors—rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced, yet pleasantly mild and approachable. Every dish arrived looking beautifully presented, and somehow tasted even better than it looked: comforting, elegant, and clearly made with great care. A special mention goes to their goat cheese naan—absolutely unmissable. Warm, soft, and indulgent, it’s the kind of bread you’ll keep ordering “just one more” of, and it pairs brilliantly with everything on the table. The service was good throughout: attentive, friendly, and smooth without being intrusive. And the location is stunning—a colonial-style setting filled with original antique pieces, soft lighting, and a thoughtfully curated décor that makes the whole experience feel refined and intimate. It’s definitely on the higher end price-wise, but if you’re looking for a memorable evening with outstanding food in a gorgeous atmosphere, Shikar is well worth it.

We had a lovely dinner here. David and team were friendly and approachable. We had the spring chicken biryani, spinach mash and garlic butter naan (and not forgetting the tasty mix of popadums!). When I asked if the food we ordered sufficed for two people, he gave his honest opinion that it was enough and true enough it was. Some other restaurants might have told us to order more. On to the food: chicken was tender and biryani was generously spiced/flavoured. Spinach mash was smooth, tasty with just enough kick of heat. Naan was a bit doughy/thicker than my liking. Ambience as a whole was great - nice old school decor, comfortable lighting and pleasant music. If there's one thing they could improve it would be to adjust the AC to be a bit warmer - way too cold in here! 🥶

Had dinner here , for my boyfriend’s birthday . The food was delicious and worth the money . Also , the restaurant manager , David’s hospitality was great , explaining the menu since it was our first time there , ensuring our food came on time and that we had a good dining experience . Would definitely come back again with s bigger group for David’s hospitality and the food. Highly recommend.

We had a Diwali four course meal. It was delicious but left us hungry and it was just not enough because portions were very small. We had to order another dish from Ala Carte and then we were fine. The Diwali dinner menu was about 200$ per person. Service and atmosphere is absolutely excellent. David was tending to our table and he was very attentive and friendly.

Food - Every flavor loudly shouts about a story. Every bite ignites a blast in your mouth. You can feel the aroma. Its vibe dining. A perfect Indian restaurant that deserves "Michelin star". Well crafted flavors. Service - on time service. I was served by David. He recommendations were worth exploring. Food came right on time with a smile. Atmosphere- a fine dining with mesmerizing experience with flavors

I chanced upon this place while looking for a dinner spot with my hubby, and it turned out to be a wonderful find. A must-try if you’re looking to explore Indian cuisines - Every dish complemented each other beautifully, making the meal feel well thought out and balanced 😋 Do end off the meal with a saffron-infused masala chai tea 🥰

Sue, Dave, David of Shikar were amazing in ensuring my entire team of ~20 had a great time. From the service to the decor to all the dishes served, it was out of this world. Love the butter chicken, the green spicy sauce-gravy (sorry dont know the name), seabass, breads, everything!! Will definitely be back! :)
