Our family had an awesome experience here! Their sushi is simply amazing. We decided to get the $300 Sushi Boat. The sushi boat has the biggest verity of sushi and sashimi. The views are wonderful. On a Wednesday evening, our wait was only 15min. Once we finished eating, the fireworks began! What a great time!

Great service, great atmosphere, food presentation is top notch, but food flavor and quality was overcooked, dry, or old during our first experience. Seiko Sushi Sand Lake is far better tasting and fresher with respect to the few dishes we tried, especially the edamame. -Salmon from the izakaya plate selection tasted a tad burnt, but was delicious overall. I would recommend it if you enjoy salmon. -Rice in sushi (snow crab california roll) and Unagi Don is a tad on the dry side, but edible. -Edemame is worse than if you cooked it from a frozen pack at home. Hands down the worst edamame I have ever tasted, couldn't finish it. -Summer's End alcoholic beverage was wonderful. Overall, for a Disney-Epcot restaurant, it is nice and the experience is there. You have authentic Japanese staff dressed in native Japanese outfits who also are very accommodating and polite.

Appetizers were amazing and fairly priced. The sushi I believe is hit or miss depending on the item. Highly priced and one was incredible however the other lacked some flavor. Other than that it was very delightful and had an incredible view of the night time show. Would go back again and was extremely happy.

This was probably the worse sushi I have eaten in many years. Aside from the sushi, every dish was bad. The miso with clams had a nice broth flavor but the clams were putrid. The following dish was some sort of tuna-tar-tar but was drowning in a vinegar sauce that was awful. Then the pathetic $50 plate of sushi was difficult to eat: the fish was on the warm side, there were few prime pieces the rest was brined and second-rate fish. With the exception of the salmon and eel, every piece of fish was no better than supermarket sushi(in flavor) and I’ve had MUCH better sushi at Whole Foods and various delicatessens which I enjoyed a lot more than the $140 I tossed away for this meal. The girls working were pretty and polite and the service is great. It’s a beautiful location with a wonderful view of World Showcase.

We made a last minute reservation and was luckily able to get one. We were sat promptly. For our drinks, we ordered the Violet Sake and the Shochu Squeeze. Both drinks were good but the Violet Sake was my favorite. We ordered the Grilled Waygu Gyoza and the Sashimi Moriawase. Everything was delicious and the staff was just so friendly. Everything was great quality and I would recommend trying to make a reservation here.

Average taste but it has a perfect view for the firework show.

2nd time coming here and was just as impressed as the first time. The food is fantastic! Service is impeccable and it's relatively affordable! Definitely think about giving this place a try if you're in Epcot. I doubt you'll be left disappointed!

Very very bad service and experience! I made a reservation on the Disney world app for today at 13:20, I arrived around 12:50, the restaurant wasn't very crowded at this time, the wait staff told me I needed to wait until close to my reservation time to be seated, I waited until 1:24 and still no waitress called out my name to take my table. I got angry and asked one of the waitresses and she told me that I still needed to wait in the waiting area and that they were preparing my table and not telling me when I could be seated. It was only after a succession of questions from me that the waiter took me to an empty table and sat me down, at which point there were still many empty tables around but for some reason we were not allowed to be seated. After such poor service, the waiter ended up asking me how I wished to pay for tips even when I was checking out (I swiped my card to pay and chose to skip paying for tips)

Yelp
Food was alright, but very expensive. The restaurant seemed pretty busy, so reservations are definitely recommended. The seating is mainly booths, with counter seating surrounding the sushi chefs in the center of the restaurant. Since the food here is double the price of similar food that you can get elsewhere, we ordered just two small dishes. Unagi don: One small piece of unagi on top of a bowl of sushi rice. This is supposedly one of the more popular dishes here. The unagi was just ok - it tasted like the frozen stuff that you can buy at an Asian supermarket. Sushi rice was fine. Deep fried Philadelphia roll: Tasted like a Philadelphia roll. Would be pretty good if it was a reasonable price, but I think this cost $24. It was still one of the cheapest items on the menu. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant. The quality of the menu items doesn't justify the insane price. Our food was tasted alright/good, but the price caused me emotional damage.

Yelp
Awful experience and I'd never return. Worst experience of any Disney park restaurant across my visits over the last 20 years. We had reservations. Upon arrival, the hostess took my name and I asked for a table by the window. I indicated that I'm willing to wait. She said "I can take the request, but it's not guaranteed". Again, I reiterated that I'm willing to wait. She repeated herself again. After two minutes, I was called and our table was ready. Our server, Hana S., took us to a table right next to one by a window. I asked if we could sit there. Hana said, "I'm sorry, that is for another customer". WTHeck?! How is another customer able to reserve a table by the window, but I was told by the hostess that I couldn't? Through the course of my meal, I saw 2 or 3 tables by the window open up. That was just salt on the wound. Our server, Hana, was dreadful. She eagerly pointed out the most expensive things on the menu when we first sat and suggested we order those items. After receiving our food, I couldn't find her again. Never got the water I asked for from her when our entrees were delivered. I finally had to ask another server to go find her. She didn't seem to care that she'd been neglecting us. In fact, she ended up asking someone else to get us some water. Our food was average. My son enjoyed his beef Yaki udon, but the portion was small for the price. Our server couldn't even answer our question - what cut of beef is in it? She said huh?? I told her I just wanna know is it's going to be chewy. So she said, "yeah, it's chewy". Anyway glad we tried it anyway cause it wasn't chewy. My daughter liked the dragon roll, but it was just a single sushi roll for $28. It's way overpriced. She was still hungry. I got the sushi bridge and the assortment wasn't anything special. No toro. I wasn't wow'd at all for a platter that costs $100. The "love boat for 2" I get back home costs half as much. Interestingly, there was a cucumber roll on it! Why the heck would you put a cucumber roll on a $100 platter?! I'm without words. The bathroom here is about 2 football fields away. You have to walk down a very long hall, out of this restaurant, through the Teppan Edo restaurant and use theirs. lol Even though I never got a table with a window view, I could see the view is a bit restricted during the fireworks show. Despite what you may have read or heard from vloggers, the view here isn't perfect. Overall, horrible experience, severely overpriced food, terrible service, awful hostess. Such better places to eat in Epcot.

Yelp
My family had an absolutely lovely experience yesterday evening thanks to the excellent food and service at this restaurant. We made reservations and although my family booked our parties separate and showed up early, the hostess and staff was very accommodating. Not only did they seat us early but arranged a single table for us by the window at my request. The view of Epcot from our table was breathtaking and we watched the sun go down while enjoying our drinks. This is the part helpful for those who have a dining plan! Using our Deluxe Dining Plan, we each redeemed 1 Table Service credit for one of Shiki Sai's prefixe multi-course menu options (Omakase). These options include Nishiki, or Gion (there is also an option for Kids). Each of these two options comes with a starter, alcoholic beverage or non alcoholic beverage, and dessert. Where they differ is Nishiki has two small plates (Izakaya and select Sushi roll) whereas Gion has a main entree. For my drink I got the blue ocean drink and my sister got the yuzu lemonade. They were both delicious but I'd reccomend the Yuzu lemonade as it was more sweet and refreshing and you pour the syrup in separately which is fun to watch. For our starter we all enjoyed the miso soup. Nice and warm Now, I won't speak for the rest of my party as we all chose different things (everyone was happy) but I chose the Nishiki option, so I got an Izakaya plate and sushi. I went with the Salmon Miso Yaki for the former. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and gorgeous presentation. The next course was a small basic roll. I got their Snow Crab california roll and using the leftover Miso Yaki sauce as a dip, I was pleased with the flavor and the ginger was fresh too! Finally we got to choose dessert. The Yuzu Cheesecake was delightfully citrusy, sweet and rich! Small portioned as with everything else! We reccommend this spot to those on the meal plan. You won't leave overly stuffed just comfortablely so. Our server, Ukumi, really went out of her way to make my sister feel special and was patient, kind and professional with all of us. She was a big part of what made this dining experience as special as it was! The presentation of the food and ambience of this restaurant was also top tier. But we were as mentioned above blessed with a good table! It's next door to Teppan-Edo so the main entrance and the restrooms are shared which is my only complaint. You have to walk quite some time to reach the restroom as it's located more in Teppan-Edo. Overall it's good! One note: dining plans do not include gratuity, so even if your meal was "covered" by the credits, TIP THE STAFF!

Yelp
Magnificent dinner with a great view of the lake at EPCOT. The ambiance inside is elegant, and the food is marvelous. Our server took wonderful care of us. We started with the fried calamari that was really good. I had the spicy crunch roll which was so much better than any sushi rolls I've had in the past. My wife had the Ishiyaki-Sukiyaki Rice bowl which came out in a sizzlingly hot stone bowl where the beef strips, onions, rice, and spinach were prepared for her at the table by our server. It was amazing! For dessert she had the Mango Mousse Cake and I tried my first ever "Plant Based Mochi Ice Cream". Strawberry, Chocolate, and Yuzu flavored balls of frozen tastiness wrapped in a chewy shell. Totally wonderful! This was our first visit to this restaurant, but it will not be our last!

Yelp
Came here for dinner and it was a 20 min wait. Luckily we got seated by the window (which had the lake view of Epcot). We ordered the unagi don, beef omu udon, chicken nanban and takoyaki. The unagi don is definitely not worth the price here. The appetizers were alright. Food was decent nothing spectacular. The Violet Uzu Lemonade was good! Not sure if I would come back here if im back at the park...

Yelp
Ambiance Very welcoming. Very clean. Grand entrance. Customer Service Greeted cheerfully when u enter. Our server Yukina is from Japan, wore a traditional kimono. Yukina made u feel important and appreciated. She was so polite, professional and soft spoken. I don't recall service this stellar ever. Dragon Roll Had generous portions of fresh unagi, I really love unagi. The roll was served over various drizzled sauces, plating was a work of art. Perfection. Ishiyaki Sukiyaki Rice Meat is sizzling in a stone bowl topped with rice. Sweet garlic sauce and seaweed is mixed in table side. Perfection. It was late else we would have ordered more we wanted to catch the fireworks at 9. What an experience.

Yelp
Booked dinner here as we spent the day at Epcot. We love Teppan Edo, but wanted to give this restaurant a try as we wanted sushi rather than Teppanyaki. The restaurant is on the small side for a Disney restaurant (unless there was an area wee didn't see). The service was friendly with a predominantly Japanese staff (I'm glad the international staff has returned since Covid). The sushi was excellent, and the only item that was a disappointment was the Rock Shrimp Tempura which was a bit too saucy for us. We had a lovely meal and will be back again in January.

Steven C.

Yelp
We had several dishes, the beef sukiyaki bowl was very good. The eel on rice was good but a bit sweet. Udon noodles with salmon roe was tasty but perhaps a bit too much butter. Everything was good, food, service and the view and ambiance. The best view restaurant in Epcot if you wait for a window table.

Christina G.

Yelp
Great place to grab sushi at Epcot. We were seated right next to the windows so we got a beautiful view of Epcot. I love how bright and open this restaurant is. If you have picky eaters, this place may be more difficult for you. I decided to chance it with my son, who is a chicken tenders and fries type kid and was pleasantly surprised by what he ate. For the kids, we got the Kara-age Chicken and beef yaki-udon. What's great about this restaurant is they have pictures of all the dishes on the menu, which is super helpful. Then my friend and I got the Hashi for 2-4. If this is your only dish, it definitely wouldn't feed 4. We were pretty stuffed at 2, we also ate some of the kids yaki-udon and chicken. It is pricy at $100. I found the fish to be pretty fresh and enjoyed it. Service was great, our waitress was wonderful and weirdly we didn't have anyone at the tables next to us for a while so it felt very luxurious. They gave us a kids coloring sheet so the kids were entertained coloring while we waited for our food. If you need to use the restroom it's all the way back past the hibachi restaurant. I enjoyed my meal here and would come back.

Yelp
First time here. Been wanting to try this new place ever since out for a while. Decided to stop in this evening and watch the show and try the food. We would have liked a table by the window and if we wanted to wait could have got one but we were close. In fact the place is very open so all seats are pretty good. It's Disney so the theming and immersion is on point. So looking over the menu it all sounded so good. We started with fried dumplings. Gozen. So good. The dipping sauce was delicious. Then we had the chicken nanban. So good! Fried chicken with tartar sauce. Sounded strange but it was so good. Finally we had the rice bowl combined table side. It was a great presentation and was really tasty. The seaweed on it was strong but all combined it tasted delicious. A very good experience. It's pricey but it's without it for the fireworks view and quality. I don't say that very often but this newish place at Disney hits all the marks.

Lisa Y.

Yelp
First time here and won't be our last! Sushi was fresh and delicious!! We ordered the Fune and when the cast member brought to us, they made quite a presentation of it! The cast members were very helpful! The Violet Sake was very refreshing, not too sweet! The restaurant was beautiful and we had a great view of the Fireworks.

Yelp
SHIKI-SAI Restaurant Sushi Izakaya This experience was so authetic, fun and THE CHERRY ON TOP of my day at EPCOT DISNEY WORLD ORLANDO Seriously If this place was in California, it would have lineups everyday. When I say the service was unreal, It's an understatement! The server legit took the trash out of my hands, every time she saw anything that didn't belong on the table THE SOUP UDON was cooked to perfection, rich broth and unique in flavor my kamo Udon had some pieces of citrus !! THE SUKIYAKI RICE came in a stone pot where the server helped me mix up with yummy sauces. Literally best stone pot of my life, it was crispy and crunchy at the edges like it should be and super tasty ! SUMMERS END is a strawberry Sake Cocktail That IS THE BEST sake drink I have ever known. They also give super cute coasters with it ! 11/10 for me Follow me for more reviews -LIVING WITH LUCI

Yelp
I'm impressed! We made a reservation around 8PM and requested to be seated close to the window since we wanted to see the fireworks show at Epcot. Staff was super accommodating to our request. The view made this whole experience incredible. We were able to catch the entire fireworks show. As for the food, I enjoyed the Sukiyaki Beef Bowl and my boyfriend had the Unagi Rice Bowl, it looked super tiny but he confirmed that it was very filling. The rolls and nigiri are also fresh. This place is definitely a must try when visiting Epcot.

Sam N.

Yelp
If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, there is a pre-fix menu you can choose from multiple options and a seperate kids menu pre fix as well. I posted the menu in my photos and also on my you tube Disneyworld Vacationer and twitter dvacationer all about the dining plan. The food here is overpriced but I love the experience. The view of the lake in the middle of epcot during the day is beautiful and a wonderful fireworks view at night. They do pipe in the music of the fireworks here too. Vegetable skewers were $30 for a few pieces of grilled vegetables. Horrible value. Vegetable Nabeyaki Udon is our favorite thing here, such a good veggie filled soup with tofu mushrooms and a nice broth. Golden Philadelphia roll - very good with creamcheese in it and salmon but very small for the price ($20) wouldn't get it for that reason. The atmosphere here is wonderful and the service is fantastic but these prices for the amount of food you get is too much even for Disney standards. Not sure I would return.

Yelp
We went here the first time a few months ago and although it was good they weren't really great with my allergies. I ended up having a reaction to one of the items that I got. That being said the food was good but we did expect better quality sushi than what it is and overall it just wasn't our favorite place on property. My mom got one of the dinner sets and I decided on a few different things sushi, tempura and miso eggplant. Our server was nice, but didn't seem to know a lot about the menu and referred to the manager who also didn't know much about the menu and then went to the chef. The ambiance was nice we had a table right next to the window to watch the fireworks production but otherwise it's pretty small in there.

Austin B.

Yelp
Just came here to enjoy a nice sit down meal during the sweltering day it was during our recent trip to Epcot. The staff took our name and we say for a few minutes before they called us and brought us to our table. The entire area is open and has some gorgeous views of epcot because the entire side is floor to ceiling windows. It would definitely be a great place to view the fireworks if you're eating there at night. The menu is pretty huge and they offer a ton of options, fit for everyone in your party. Our waitress came over and explained the menu and after some consideration I decided to get the prefix menu option. With the prefix I chose, I got an appetizer, sushi, a main dish and then dessert. For the appetizer I chose the tsukemono which is Japanese pickles. It came, prepared stunningly, on a little plate in the shape of a flower with some pickled veggies on the side. Everything was nice and refreshing and the flavor of the veggies mixed with the pickles (which were more like cucumbers with no pickling) was refreshing beyond belief. For the two little main dishes, I chose the IKA GESO Fried squid, which is their version of a calamari. The breading was exceptional and not too greasy. There was a wonderful crunch as I bit down and the breading was seasoned well. It paired amazing with the spicy mayo dip it was served with. For the roll, I ordered the BLUEFIN NEGITORO ROLL, and while it was small the flavor was exceptional. It was insanely fresh and so easy to eat, I almost inhaled it. The bluefin had the perfect consistency. For my dessert I got the yuzu cheesecake. I'm so glad I did. The tartness of the yuzu glaze helped cut the sweetness of the cheesecake. A couple bites of the cheesecake were a little dry but I can't complain because overall it was amazing! The menu option also came with a drink, so I ordered the Mt. Fuji, which was a sweet tropical blue Curaçao drink. I absolutely loved it but couldn't do more then one due to how sweet it was. Overall and excellent place with great quality food. The price of the option I got was $65 and we'll worth every penny in my book. I'll definitely be back here again!

Guillermo G.

Yelp
This was a pretty good restaurant in the Japan Pavillion. It was a very cold morning, so we decided to have lunch somewhere indoors. We first made the line for Katsura Grill, but when we looked inside it was very crowded. So we came here instead. As is with Izakaya we shared several dishes. We got the calamari, takoyaki, vegetable tempura, Kara-age chicken, unagi don (pictured), and the okonomiyaki. Everything but pretty solid. My favorite was the okonomiyaki, which was a savory pancake filled with bacon. How can you not like that.

Alexander Y.

Yelp
Shiki-Sai occupies the footprint of the former Tokyo Dining. Never went there, but I did kinda wanna try this. Ended up waiting like 30 minutes to sit down for lunch. Took a good look at the menu and what other people were eating. Decided the only thing I could really trust here was the Kaisen Don, which was basically a chirashi bowl. At least they got some quality fish here! Good quality and really fresh, I was satisfied. Not bad for $38. Service was good here, no complaints. Overall, I was satisfied with my meal here. With that said, not sure I would trust anything that's not sushi or sashimi here as I'm not sure it would be worth it.

Yelp
So I will start out saying, my 4 star review is given that the food was good and service was amazing. It is a little higher than I want to give though due to the other choices you could make with your time and money in Disney. Though given that you are in Epcot, and the prices they charge here, I highly recommend eating elsewhere in Epcot if you have a favorite sushi place back at home. Especially if Epcot has a festival going on, go "Eat Around the World" at the food booths themselves. Plus, when I mention time ... Time is money when at Disney so if you are on a once in a life time or once every 5-10 years trip, sit down dining needs to be an experience you can only get a Disney not something you can do at home. We landed here honestly because I had asked my friend if we could go to an Asian restaurant I wanted to try in Disney springs, but she likes this place better so she booked us here instead. (I still plan on trying the place in Disney Springs to make my own call on which was better.) Everything we got was decent, though the side of grilled veggies I got felt a little bit of a rip off for the price point. My avocado roll was about $2 more than what I would pay back at home, and the veggie tempura was about $15 but came with A LOT. So, given its in a Disney park I forgive the increased price on those two items. I doubt I will chose myself to come back, due to my above mentioned thoughts. But if you genuinely just want Sushi or other Japanese themed meal while in Epcot, this could be your spot for your trip. Like in another review it's great to check another place off of a list to say that I've tried.

Elliott L.

Yelp
After we returned to Epcot we headed to our reservation here. Make sure to get one before you come here. All of the staff is from Japan like all of the pavilions at Epcot. The menu is very big and lots of excellent and expensive options. We got soup and it didn't disappoint. My family got many dishes and we share some of them. The sushi was good but the other dishes were phenomenal. It felt like I was in Japan because of the feel of the place and we loved our waiter.

Abe A.

Yelp
Recently my wife and I had dinner reservations at Shiki-Sai, which is located at EPCOT, in the Japan pavilion. As soon as we entered and checked in with the host, we noticed that this restaurant is small. They had seating near the windows which provides a great view for the fireworks. Unfortunately, all those tables were taken, so we were placed elsewhere. Once we were seated our server came over immediately. She explained the menu to us, gave us some of the top picks, and her favorites. Their menu is large, so it took a few minutes to sort through. We ended up ordering several items to share. *Grilled Wagyu Gyoza 3 pc (Pan fried dumplings filled with smoky A5 Japanese wagyu beef; can be found in the Izakaya classics section) this was probably the best dumpling I've ever had so far. Light, flavorful, succulent, perfect. * Beef Yaki-Udon (Stir-fried udo noodles tossed with beef and vegetables; Can be found in the from the grill section) the beef was succulent, vegetables delicious, the udo noodles light and tasty. Every component was masterfully prepared. * Kushi Assorted (Six signature skewers featuring two each of beef, chicken, and shrimp; can be found in the from the grill section) Loved these skewers. Easy to share, simple and delicious. * Ishiyaki-Sukiyaki Rice (Grill strips of beef in hot stone bowl at your tableside along with spinach and rice in a sweet garlic sauce; can be found in the rice and noodles section) this stole the show. Ashely our server prepared this at tableside, the aromatics were insatiable. My wife and I couldn't wait to dig in lol. The beef succulent, loved the addition of the spinach, the sweet garlic sauce was divine. For drinks, they have a wide variety including sake, beer, wine and mixed cocktails. My wife chose the Violet Sake, she loves this drink; it is available at the drink stand in the pavilion. It's one of the most popular cocktails at Epcot. I ordered the Premium Sake Flight (2 oz pours of Dassai 45, Moon on the Water, Karatamba) Our server suggested this to me. I'm glad I ordered the flight. This will be something I'll always get when I dine here in the future. Truly delicious. Aside from what we ordered, here are other items on the menu: * Sushi broken down into the following categories Nigiri (2 pieces per order), Sashimi, Sushi Combinations, Chef Specials, Rolls and Temaki *Donburi (is a bowl of steamed rice topped with meat, fish, veggies, eggs, and sauces)*Starters: Edamame Steamed soybeans seasoned with your choice of seasoning (Maldon Sea Salt, Spicy Garlic, Wasabi), Tsukemono (Pickled crispy Japanese vegetables), Japanese Potato Salad (With crispy bacon, smoked daikon and sweet red bean paste), Gobo chips (Strips of crispy fried burdock root seasoned with salt and aonori), Miso Soup (with wakame, tofu, and scallions), Takoyaki (Fried batter filled with octopus, topped with spicy mayo and tonkatsu sauce), Clam Miso Soup (Miso soup enhanced with clams), Kara-age Chicken (Japanese-style fried chicken flavored with garlic and ginger and served with lemon) Just to name a few items... Something that is unique to this restaurant is they give you a card and, on the back, there are 4 circles. They tell you that you can get a stamp for each season. and when vou get all 4 stamps, you will get a special gift. It's a great way to make people come back but also something to work towards. This was an amazing dinner experience. Absolutely cannot wait to return here. Our server was so nice, informative and attentive. The overall atmosphere is great. There's some light music playing in the background, the aromatics going through the restaurant teasing your palate... this was 10 out of 10 Aces!!

Yelp
Shiki-Sai is located at EPCOT, in the Japan pavilion. You will need a park ticket in order to dine here. Reservations are also a strong suggestion, but you might be able to walk in. You would have to ask. The actual pavilion has multiple dining locations. There is one of the first floor, way off to the right, behind the gift shop. This is the most expensive in the pavilion, price fix, and mostly sushi style. They also have a quick service restaurant off to the left. If you take the main stairs to the second floor, above the gift shop, you will find two restaurants. To the left is the hibachi style restaurant and then to the right is Shiki-Sai. We had a reservation but went a little early and they were able to seat us. We noticed that this restaurant is very small. There is a large area in the center that seems to be where the sushi is made, it had chairs all around it. I think this might be for any walk-in guests. They also had a few booths over on that side which were really neat, the screens on the walls actually moved and made it seem like a window. We were seated on the other side, which is against the window. I wanted to ask for a window seat but they looked full. I think the window seats are the best seats, if you are dining at night. You can get a fantastic view of the fireworks. They also had a few other tables and then some booths. As soon as we were seated, our server came over. She was super sweet, explained the menu to us and recommended her favorites. She gave us some time to look it over and brought us some water. Their menu is actually pretty large and just not sushi like most people tend to think it is. They do have a decent amount of sushi on the menu, some of which are really unique to the restaurant. Since we went for dinner, we did not feel like having sushi. If you have a large number of people, you could order the large platter which serves 2-4. It's a ton of sushi and a great price if splitting with people. Their menu also includes a wide assortment of starters including soup, tempura shrimp, fried chicken, edamame and so much more. They also offer some Izakaya Classics. These could be considered starters as well. We choose the grilled wagyu gyoza which came with 3 pieces. They were very good. I thought I would like it more, but they were not my favorite. I think the sauce that was inside is what was throwing me off. But I would probably share these again with someone. They also offer a few different types of rice and noodle dishes. We ordered the beef yaki-udon. This was udon noodles, with beef strips and vegetables served with a stir fry sauce. This was delicious, I actually really enjoyed this, especially the noodles and vegetables. Next time I would honestly look for a vegetable noodle dish. In that section they also have some skewers which they call Kushi. We ordered the assortment, which was 6 skewers- 2 of each beef, shrimp and chicken. These were delicious. Each skewer was so yummy and so good. I loved them, their flavor was fantastic, and they were cooked perfectly. From this section is also my favorite dish of the night. It is Ishiyaki-Sukiyaki Rice. This is white rice, beef strips, and spinach with a garlic sauce. This is served in a hot stone bowl, which is finished table side to create that crispy rice. This was FANTASTIC! I absolutely loved this and would order it every single time hands down! Last on their menu is their desserts. They have just a few items, not a huge variety and we didn't really see anyone else ordering anything. We were also so full we didn't bother. For drinks, they have a wide variety including sake, beer, wine and mixed cocktails. I choose the Violet Sake, which has dessert pear and sake. I love this drink; it is also available at the drink stand in the pavilion. My husband ordered the Sake Flight, which had 3 different sake. They were very generous pours so for $30, we felt it was a really great deal. It was basically 3 regular sized drinks. He also really enjoyed all of them and one of the sake was our server's personal favorite. Something that is unique to this restaurant is they give you a card and, on the back, there are 4 circles. They tell you that you can get a stamp for each season, and when you get all 4 stamps, you will get a special gift. It's a great way to make people come back but also something to work towards. We will definitely have to come back and get all our stamps! Another thing I really enjoy is that there are pictures in the menu of almost all their items. I love this so you can see what it should look like. I personally love to look at photos before ordering and really appreciated this. I think this is a great place, one of my new favorites. I would come back for lunch for sushi, but there are definitely tons of things I want to try. If you haven't been here, I would for sure recommend it and try it out.

Yelp
Finally got an opportunity to eat here after scheduling and cancelling and rescheduling. What a mess. But we made it. You can still feel the Tokyo Dining vibes but the architecture and the new art was amazing. I loved it. We sat near the window facing Spaceship Earth and the rest of the Japanese pavilion so that was cool watching people walk around looking lost and watching the big golf ball change colors. I had my eye on the $300 sushi boat but after walking around all day drinking and snacking I didn't have the room for it so we shared some bites. Our server Fuka was great. She suggested the Hana Awaka for something sweet and refreshing and she was right. It came in an 8oz bottle with a champagne flute so you can serve yourself. I really enjoyed it so much I took the empty bottle home with me as a momento. I took a photo but why not have the actual thing? My babe had the Gari Gari Sour Ramune which is shochu with a Ramune-flavored popsicle with soda. It was okay, I liked by sake better. Here's a run down of what we had: A5 Wagyu appetizer - It's $120 for 4oz. I get the price but I felt like once you try wagyu for the first time, every time afterwards is not as exciting. It was good but not amazingly good. The wasabi salt that came with it was pretty tasty. Sashimi Moriawase - My entree. this was like a Chirashi bowl with different fish and seafood. Scallop, yellowtail tuna, Salmon, the good stuff. The items were fresh and enjoyable. Aji Susgata Zukuri - Japanese Horse Mackerel sashimi presented beautifully on a plate with the head and tail. By far the best fish I tasted here. I even took the head apart and ate what I could off of it. Yeah, eyes too. They don't taste like anything. Bluefin Negitoro Roll - looked like more rice than tuna but tasted amazing Mentaiko Udon - His entree. These udon noodles were in a creamy sauce I likened to alfredo-like but tasted very good. He liked it a lot. Bless Fuka's heart. We tried to make it easier on her as the tables all around us were not feeling the items other than the edamame, udon, and veggie rolls but the level of customization that these groups wanted....just, WOW. She spent what felt like 20 minutes at one table try to get their order. Honestly, this was a step up from Tokyo Dining for me. If you want to eat more adventurous this is definitely your place.

Yelp
Food was good. We got a few sushi rolls and some shrimp skewers. Staff was amazingly attentive. Decor is ok. Got to see fireworks. Price isn't worth what you get. The sushi is good but overpriced even for Disney

Yelp
I was excited to finally get a reservation for Shiki Sai. It's alittle expensive but overall good. I had the waygu gyoza. There were 3 on a plate. The beef seemed like it was chopping in the middle. I wasn't a huge fan of the texture but the flavor was good. The chicken kaarage was crispy but needed a dipping sauce. Okinomiyaki was delicious! Very flavorful and it was a huge portion. The gari gari soda with the ramune popsicle... I would drink 10 of those! Service was great. The room looked exactly like the old Tokyo dining. Next time I would like to sit by the bar so I can watch everything! 4.5 stars.

Yelp
This place has been rebranded to Shiri-Sai Sushi Izakaya from Tokyo Dining. The menu was updated, and the foods were more like a Japanese pub style. The service has always been great, and there's an improvement of the ambiance - it's more cozy. The menu was updated and offered a range. I was excited to see a variety that's not commonly seen here in the US, such as fried Gobo (a type of root vegetable), and okonomiyaki. The quality and presentation were much better. Also, gluten-free options are available. A manager came to our table and discussed the options available, so they took food allergy seriously.

Yelp
Need to make reservation on app ahead of time. The waitress was very accommodating. Was able to substitute duck with chicken for the udon. Plenty of photos to show. Went around 8pm which had a nice view for fireworks depending on your table.

Yelp
Ok but better to be had I would rather go to walkup then here Sushi Average nothing special for price Wife had skewers and beef overcooked chicken undercooked Shrimp just right m I would skip it much better Epcot place I did complain about food but they smile and act like they don't know what your saying

Yelp
Why only 3 stars when the sushi was top notch? Because someone in my party has a food allergy. We asked before going in, we also asked the waitress, someone was sent to go through the menu with us, allergen safe foods were chosen. We doublechecked with the waitress before ordering and she confirmed with someone before inputting the order. The person had a low level reaction, thankfully not anaphylactic. But it still made me uncomfortable enough that I won't return. The food however for the non allergy people was delicious. Just beware if you have food allergies.

Yelp
The food was great. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Love their outfit:). This restaurant is inside Epcot.

Sagir P.

Yelp
Good food for the value and we had a great view sitting by the window. Service was wonderful as well. They're very attentive to allergies. Thankfully its in Disney because our kid was having too much fun and babbling away.

Yelp
@Epcot Japan nice spot to relax and eat good sushi after walking around Epcot. Good option for the price and amount of food. Compared to the food stands outside. They had plenty of tradition Japanese options as well.

Yelp
Shiki-Sai Review for January 2024 (with an emphasis on dining with a gluten allergy): This was my first time coming to this restaurant since it changed to Shiki-Sai from Tokyo Dining. The restaurant is beautifully decorated to reflect different seasons and holidays in Japan. There are four gorgeous murals on the walls when you first come up to the host desk, each representing a different season. The dining room is simple and elegant with wood furniture. The servers are all so friendly and want to teach you about their culture. I was dining with someone who speaks some Japanese, and the staff was kind and spoke Japanese with them and talked about their experiences back in their home country. They were attentive for whenever we needed refills of water and asked if we needed anything from time to time. I have a gluten allergy, and I made sure to tell my server about it (as well as indicated that when I made the reservation). They had a manager come out and talk to me about my needs before I ordered and after. I knew they would take care of me and that they took my allergy seriously. We used the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) for this visit. The DDP allowed us to choose from the Omakase menu. You could choose the Nishiki menu, which allows you to choose a starter, izakaya plate, sushi item and dessert; or, you could choose the Gion menu, which includes a starter, main and dessert. We both chose the Gion set because we both wanted items from the main course section. You also get a drink, including non-alcoholic specialty drinks. We both chose the beautiful violet yuzu lemonade. I chose the Japanese potato salad, kaisen don (seafood bowl) and green tea vanilla swirled ice cream. The manager came out after I made my selections and told me that they would give me gluten free soy sauce, and also modified the kaisen don to be gluten free (it normally comes with tempura shrimp and something marinated in soy sauce). The manager told me they would have the chef choose other fish to replace the gluten containing items, so I didn't miss out on anything. The potato salad was delicious. It had two strips of crispy bacon on the sides and a pickled plum on top. The main course, the kaisen don, is presented in an elegant wooden bowl and is brimming with fish and roe. It was so fresh and flavorful--truly a feast for the eyes and stomach! The ice cream was standard, but very delicious after a warm day in the parks. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service, food and ambiance are all excellent and they are very accommodating for people with food allergies.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic and delicious. Everything we tried was very good and high quality. The servers were very friendly and kind and got us our food very quickly but brought it all to us at a good pace. The dining room has tons of windows with a beautiful view of the entire park. This is probably our favorite restaurant in Japan and we definitely will be back to try more!

Yelp
We've had dinner at Shiki-Sai twice now, and it's yet to disappoint. Really delicious food, from sushi to noodle bowls. On our most recent visit, we shared edamame, meat skewers and sushi and everything was great. Shiki-Sai has become our favorite spot for watching the evening fireworks at EPCOT. Be sure to make a reservation about an hour to an hour and a half before the fireworks time and request a window seat if possible. The audio for the fireworks show gets piped into the dining room and the views of the World Showplace Lagoon are unbeatable. The servers and hosts here are also top-notch. Everyone has always been so kind and helpful.

Yelp
Where do I even start? The food is so unique and special here! And the atmosphere is incredible with intricate details throughout and great views of the world showcase. Even if you're not sitting by the window, they have gorgeous decorating to keep the place alive throughout. Everyone here is extremely friendly and fun to interact with and you can always expect great service. Will be returning for my 10th time!!

Yelp
I could not wait to try the newest sushi restaurant in Epcot. Before we were seated we were greeted by a woman with a mask telling us something about the restaurant but none of us could hear or make out anything she was saying... For appetizers we ordered the miso soup and tuna sashimi, and for lunch we ordered spicy tuna rolls and salmon rolls and a few other rolls to try. The soup was pretty good but not hot. The rolls and sashimi tasted fresh and the service was alright. Overall, it was just okay and I'm not sure I would come back again. It didn't feel very welcoming and had an odd vibe.

Yelp
I love Disney restaurants especially ones that are in the park that have an ambience that takes you away from the bustle; and this is that restaurant. We started with the fried octopus appetizer which was crispy and surprisingly flavorful. For sushi we tried the salmon and dragon roll which were ordinary, but the fish tasted very fresh. For mains we tried the chicken and beef skewers as well as the tuna don. The chicken and beef skewers were cooked very well, but overall lacking in flavor. Service was amazing, very attentive, and quick to ask for our passholder discount.

Yelp
Need to give everyone a straight review for this place. The Japanese food here is super authentic and reminds me of many of my meals in Japan. The food was delicious and definitely is worth the price point of having excellent Japanese food inside of an amusement park. If your idea of Japanese is Americanized rolls you'll likely be disappointed if you've never eaten actual authentic Japanese. As someone tired of eating American and European food for the past week this was an oasis in a desert for our group. Service was excellent, polite, and formal. I saw the servers wipe down the chairs in addition to the tables after people were finished eating. I've eaten many $200+ omakase dinners back in SoCal and in Japan and everything is legit here. Sukiyaki rice bowl was excellent. Aji was excellent. Uni was small and pricey but a quality uni piece. Chicken karaage in my daughter's meal was delicious. A5 wagyu potstickers was a great new dish to try. The only thing that was a miss was the fish tempura, which had some dry parts. Dragon roll was enormous and really delicious - one of the best my sister had. Lastly, the pictures show portions smaller than what we got. The aji plate showed 5 sashimi and 4 sushi pieces and mine came with 9 sashimi and 5 sushi. The fish tempura showed 3-4 pieces but came with 7-8. If you're craving real Japanese food in a fun different atmosphere Shiki Sai delivers.

Yelp
It's exciting to be here for the first time and not have to wait for reservations or table since we sat at the sushi bar. This place is sterile clean and is beautiful! The waitstaff are dressed in beautiful kimonos and speaks fluent English with Japanese accent which I fine very cute. The menu is very easy to read with pictures and well translate. The hostess is very nice and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food comes out fairly quick and tasty. The portion size is good for the price charged. We were in and out of there in about an hour during lunch and that's great! No time waste since we were excited to start our venture in Epcot.

Yelp
I've dined at Tokyo Dining quite a few times when I've visited Epcot and have always had good experiences. It's one of two sit down restaurant options in the Japan pavilions and offers a beautiful view of the world showcase. We had a reservation and checked in a few minutes before our reserved time. Like pretty much every restaurant at Disney, you check in on the Disney mobile app and wait for a text notification to be seated. When we arrived, there were a lot of people waiting to be seated, even though almost every table was open, which we thought was odd. Once seated, the service was fairly quick and our waiter was friendly. The manager also came around to ask everyone how their dining experience was, which I don't think we experienced at any other restaurant during our Disney trip. The menu seemed smaller than the last time I visited, which is my one small complaint. However, everything we ordered was delicious. The salmon sashimi came lightly seared with seaweed salad - the perfect light appetizer. The spicy crunchy roll was also a favorite at our table. If you want a sit down meal at Epcot, this is one of my favorite spots and I'm sure I'll be back next time I visit!

Yelp
It's been a very long time since I last had izakaya. Thankfully, this restaurant didn't disappoint. Everything was great. My favorites were the calamari and the takoyaki. The sake was very good too. Service was very friendly.

Carlos R.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. I'm allergic to shellfish and they take this serious here. The service is also top notch. A must do if you're looking for peace from the park and crowd.

Alice W.

Yelp
Great food, amazing & friendly staff. The raw fish was really surprisingly fresh for a theme park food. Everything was tasty. Will definitely recommend this place to other friends & come back whenever we're at Epcot

Caroline N.

Yelp
I love the sushi donburi and the okonomiyaki. Attentive service and atmosphere. Definitely make sure to get a reservation ahead of time as it can get very crowded during dinner. Not very crowded for lunch.

Yelp
This sushi place is garbage. We paid $100 for a bridge that had very low grade fish (yellow tail, salmon, and tuna) and cucumber rolls. Daughter bought a $28 for udon noodles. It was the smallest portion for a poor broth soup. Service was terrible. Waitress never refilled water, had to be asked twice for extra napkins, and spilled a drink for a neighboring table. All I know is I am down $200+ for crap sushi and terrible service. $250 if u include the drinks. Expected so much more coming from a Disney Epcot restaurant. Utterly disappointed! Save your $s and eat at the smaller vendors.

Yelp
I was pretty surprised by the Disney sushi and sashimi collection. It was actually pretty good and I would probably go with my family again. The rolls were pretty good and we tried the sake and it was pretty good. I like to have the option of tasting all the different sakes. My girls liked the place and not to mention we sat nearby the window in the restaurant and there was a great view of Epcot. We had a lot of fun here and they give customers a good amount of green tea if you order and the quality of the tea seems pretty good. All the servers seem to be from Japan and speak Japanese and they were super nice! Would love to come here again. Disney really never stops to impress me.

Yelp
This is the best place for firework views, extra special care with allergies or vegan requests, and extremely incredible food. Shiki-Sai offers a variety of dishes to share with your friends and family, from sushi and sashimi to teppan and izakaya classics. It's like Japanese tapas. Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya is more than just a restaurant, it's an adventure for your senses. Get a little or a lot of food for a flavor adventure. Full review of every dish photographed and more is at Princess and the Bear on YouTube. https://youtu.be/R5N-sVYBNq0 Tons of vegan and gluten free options. The perfect place for someone looking for a meal without alt meats. Tomato "Garden" Salad, Tsukemono, Gobo Chips, Agedashi Tofu, Takoyaki, Vegetable Nabeyaki Udon, a d Kushi Assorted shown in photos. Descriptions for the items are in the photos. The video showcases 10 items from the menu. Whether you're celebrating Tanabata in July, moon-viewing in September, or cherry blossoms in April, you'll be immersed in the culture and traditions of Japan with every bite. Plus, you'll enjoy stunning views of EPCOT, the World Showcase Lagoon, and the fireworks from the second floor of the Japan pavilion. Shiki-Sai means "four seasons" in Japanese. It's named that because the restaurant features beautiful hand-painted artwork and lanterns that showcase the natural wonders of Japan throughout the year. You'll also be amazed by the trellis inspired by the roof of the Phoenix Hall in Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya is more than just a restaurant, it's an adventure for your senses.
