Very nice and helpful staff. They addressed any concern very quickly. Room cleaning was impeccable every day. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options for eating and drinking, including live ramen station. Rooms by themselves were not the best especially the bathroom. It has slight mold, nothing gross but enough to put you off if you pay attention. The ceiling has a big crack in bathroom. Bed was soft and comfy and my room had a view of the hill which was nice. The gym was small with few weights and 3 treadmills. But there are plenty of places to eat close by. Overall not worth the cost for me.

Room with the park view was excellent. I found the elevators quirky in that sometimes they stopped on many floors with no one to get on or off and other times they ran just fine. Staff was helpful, courteous, and attentive. There was no concierge service offered and a staff person told me to have a Korean colleague help me make an airport limo bus reservation that they couldn’t do it due to problems working with the bus company. I do not have a Korean colleague and I don’t know what the problem is but they should work it out. This was a minor thing and I didn’t ding them for it, but I hope for their benefit they fix it.

Room is small, only 2 bottles of water per day. Breakfast is repetitive. There are better and cheaper options around.

Nice hotel, with clean rooms and good breakfast - sometimes you have to wait around 10 minutes for an elevator

I have been staying in the Shilla Stay Dongtan for business trips since many years. However, since the last year quality and service getting worse, so I will look for better alternatives. Main points are: rooms are old, poorly maintained, and loveless (no pictures or any decoration that customers feel more at home). The air condition is switched off most of the months, complains at the reception about high room temperatures (>25 deg) and sticky air are ignored, elevators take a very long time to arrive, Gym is poorly equipped, smell of cigaretes everywhere, breakfast ok but every day since years exactly the same offerings without any varieties. There seems to be no overall efforts to manage and improve the hotel to satisfy the customers.

Everything is excellent except that's there's no wardrobe, only 4 shelf and cloth hanger therefore for short stay it's Perfect and ah the room temperature 😅 i was there in January and I couldn't adjusted its just stuck between 25-26° so if you can deal with this then it will be a fine stay.

It's pleasant and kind. I don't like the dinner.

Overall a nice place to stay as a foreigner. I was there for 13 nights with my husband who was in South Korea for work and I for vacation. The room was decent, we were in a standard double, but it definitely is not built for long term stay. There was hardly any closet or storage place, so we were essentially living out of our luggage the whole stay. Also the shower was enormous, but only had on small shower head that only reached a quarter of the shower space. There easily could have been a small tub or utilized that small for more luggage. There was also no where in the shower to store toiletries. The bed and bedding were very nice, and comfortable, which is hard to get in a lot of SK hotels. The room was clean and had an excellent view of the city. No USB charging ports in the room. Wifi was great the whole stay. The staff were top notch! Everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant, to housekeeping were always friendly and very helpful in all of our requests. We paid to have the buffet restaurant every morning. While the selection was very good and had a wide variety of eastern and western food, the food was the same every single day. It definitely got repetitive after 13 days and none of the selections except for the congee or soups were ever different. Would have been nice if there had been a rotation of foods rather than the same thing every day, especially with how large the selection was. We only did the dinner buffet once as it is $$$. The food was good, not exceptional, but good. Location was great, so many restaurants and shopping within a 10 minute walk. 10 minute taxi ride to Dongtan Station, several bus stations close by. While the food and room could use some improvements, I would definitely choose to stay again for a shorter trip!
