A very small but well curated museum. They have both English and French guides available at the desk. There is also a nice café.
Worth a visit if you are interested in Miyamoto Musashi or if you are at a loose end.

Small, but carefully curated and beautifully displayed. Also a great little café to enjoy a drink and/or light lunch after your visit.

Not sure how much of what was on display was either antique or actually Musashi associated. It's a shame such an important historical figure isn't given a more prominent showing. As someone who cannot read Japanese, I struggled with translating half of the displays as only some were dual language.

This is a tiny museum in the outskirts of Kumamoto. Several authentic pieces of history relating to Musashi but the entire area only consists of 2 small rooms. As not all exhibits have an English translation, may not be worth the trip out and 700 yen entrance fee.

Small musuem relating to Miyamoto Musashi. You won't spend an extended period of time here but it's an interesting museum.
