No game to see. For that go to the Mara. Now if driving 4-5h and walking 2h to see a waterfall is your thing, then it’s for you. For the rest, go enjoy Diani beach, you’ll have much more fun.

This is an interesting and accessible park, however, there is very little wildlife in the park. You will definitely enjoy the hike down to the Sheldrick Water Fall

We spent 24h in Shimba Hills self driving and camped at the Professional Campsite. The campsite is a bit rundown but we stayed there instead of the public campsite at the Sable Bandas because it's a holiday weekend and we were afraid that it could get crowded. Roads in the park were excellent. As for wildlife we didn't see sable antelopes nor elephants but we spotted many zebras, buffalos, impalas, bushbucks and some hartebeests.

It's a beautiful place. I enjoyed the panoramic view of the reserve. It was magical and I spend my time looking at the beauty that I didn't capture lots of moments. There were buffaloes, elephant, colobus monkey, Walking down the slope to Sheldrick's Falls and back was breathtaking. Everyone enjoyed and we had fun at the waterfalls. Infact we could spend more time there if it wouldn't be time limit.the forest and viewpoints. Our Ranger was Erick who through out the Waterfall trail was very Keen. He assist us all group members.

Trekking was bit tiring, otherwise excellent place to visit and refresh your body in the falls. Washroom is dirty and need renovation for more tourists to have a comfortable visit.

Very beautiful place, unfortunately almost no animals left, there is a waterfall for relaxation, hike 3 km downhill and then uphill another three kilometers

Shimba hills hosts the magnificent Sheldrick's falls, which is 1.8km from where the trail to the fall starts.......you will get amazing natural deep tissue water massage. Bring your swim suit to enjoy this therapeutic experience. The park is highly forested grass patched hill slopes. A small giraffe population of 4resides here and the elusive sable antelopes. You will be very lucky to spot them

It's a beautiful place. I enjoyed the panoramic view of the reserve. It was magical and I spend my time looking at the beauty that I didn't capture lots of moments. There were buffaloes, elephant, warthogs, colobus monkey, tortoise and a giraffe. Walking down the slope to Sheldrick's Falls and back was breathtaking. Everyone enjoyed and we had fun at the waterfalls, the forest and viewpoints. Erick was a great ranger who had our backs through out the Waterfall trail. However, the reserve should have better washrooms.
