Shimons Falafel

I saw many positive ratings and reviews for this place, so I went there with high expectations. Luckily, it turned out to be just as good as people had said. The location is very nice and convenient, as it is very close to Arambol Beach. The place has a calm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after spending time at the beach. I ordered the Mediterranean platter, which cost ₹650, and it was totally worth the price. The platter had five falafels, hummus, chips, salad, aubergine, two boiled eggs, shakshuka, and two khaboos (pita bread). I asked for two extra khaboos, and they gave them to me without charging extra, which was a pleasant surprise. The food tasted really good, especially the hummus. After visiting Gulf countries, I can say that it is difficult to find such tasty hummus in India, but this place comes very close to the original taste. Everything on the plate was fresh and nicely prepared. The staff was very kind, friendly, and well-behaved, which made the experience even better. Overall, I had a very positive experience here and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I will definitely visit this place again on my next trip to Goa and would recommend it to anyone looking for good Middle eastern food near Arambol Beach.

What an absolute pleasure it was to dine here. Everything from the food to the service to the hospitality, was top notch. Shimon, who's the owner is there most of the time and he himself delivers, takes the order and interacts with the customers. That's a really commendable aspect. The food was heavenly and filling, and the price was justified. We heard a lot about it before going and we weren't disappointed. Will definitely be going again.

Shimon’s Falafel is worth visiting for its popularity. I went with high expectations, and it truly lived up to them. I tried the falafel hummus with pita bread, and it was fresh, flavourful, and absolutely awesome for the price they offer. A must-visit spot if you enjoy Middle Eastern food.

The best falafel and sabich i ever ate!!! I come back every year to arambol, so I know what im talking about!!! The food and the vibe is amazing Also you should try the cold coffee it’s amazing 🫶🏽

I was here on 08 Dec 2023 for the first time, visited here second time today on 26 oct 2025 and I’m happy to say that this place has been great both times with amazing food n hospitality! You’ll really love the food here and its healthy too! The second pic is from 2023 and first one today.

I have eaten here 3 times. Tasteful meal for reasonable price. Falafel in pita, chicken schnitzel in pita, sabich in pita, falafel with tahini are delicious. Thank you
