Lovely park with a Starbucks. No seating in the main park except near the lovely waterfall. Big a mat and chill out. Bring mosquito spray, mosquitos in the day time is new for me. A nice little treat is the bell like tower rings on the hour

Large park with beautiful walking paths. The children's playground is on the South side, the North side has the fountain with turtles, the shrine, and a Starbucks. There is a jogging route, art, and lots of other little discoveries. The park is very clean and safe, almost always populated. Lots of people walking their cute dogs.

Great park for kids and adults alike. The water splash/play area is great for toddlers under 5, but swimsuit is required for full immersion in the pool. The children’s playground has a variety of well maintained swings, and the concrete slides are quite tall and fun.

One of the very Tokyo-like natural and urbanised power spots. You can charge energies from the peaceful park as well as from the cyberpunkish vibes surrounding the entire space. Walking/Picnic areas, the famous waterfall square, futsal and basketball courts, a solemn shrine, a police box, kids playgrounds and the visitors building with cafes... all included.

A nice place to have a relaxing walk family walk. There are coffee places(etc:Starbucks), you could sit down and let your kids run around at the green field. On another side, about 10mins short walk, a playground that my kid had spent 1.30hr playing slides and chasing with other local kids.

An awesome park that's well maintained and perfect for kids. We saw so many families here and it was so lively. They also had some events going on and it was organized very well.

Google
A really beautiful park right in Tokyo. Super clean, with many trails. Peaceful, and serene. You will find a Starbucks coffee also...if you want to enjoy a cup of tea, of coffee while strolling. Also, a lovely Shrine...where many locals go to worship. Loved walking here!!

I would like to thank the person who designed the amazing beware of the crow sign for the park. It gives Hitchcock birds vibe with a touch of A Clockwork Orange, the crow is judging you and you know you better behave because they can do damage. And not only physical ones.

Yelp
The cozy place to chill... Shinjuku Central Park isn't Shinjuku Gyoen is a beautiful public park near the Hilton and Hyatt is a great sized park where you can see many joggers and walkers all day long, also is home to some events as the recent was the Malaysia Fair with many food booths and attractions, there's a bulletin board that does list event calendar for any future reference. The newest addition of SHUKNOVA filled with tenants like Parkers Tokyo, Musashi no More Diner, and yes Starbucks! Filled with various of trees including Sakura which by the way is incredible when it's in full bloom the stunning views you're able to get here is definitely worth the visit, so go outside and enjoy the great outdoors Shinjuku Central Park has to offer. どうもありがとうございます!

Yelp
I really enjoyed this park very much when we stayed at the Hilton before our flight back home! We saw many adorable trendy dog owners and their four legged pups walking around the park.I also saw many golden ginkgo trees and tons of colorful plants all over the park.Be sure to bring a picnic they have the most gorgeous landscape views.

Yelp
My daughter is at the age where she loves playgrounds. Shinjuku Central Park was only a 15 minute walk from our hotel so we decided to check it out. We weren't able to get to the playground, but it was still an enjoyable time. We watched skateboarders practice their skills and sat by the waterfall structure/fountain.

Yelp
I don't know how this country expect that tourists respect the rules when clearly the locals are not following them. We decided to take our toddlers to the park today to play... At 5:00pm we found a group of young people under the influence of alcohol (I hope) they couldn't stand up, and were screaming...my kids got scared , thank you, no thank you guys. This a park where this behavior is not appropriate, not guard available to report it. Totally disappointed.

Yelp
We came to Shinjuku park to have some fun in the wading pool. Located on the Southwest side of the park, next to the playground and sandbox, its a perfect place cool down your little ones. To get there, I took the Oedo Line and got off at the Tochomae station. I took the elevator at Exit A4 or A5 and from there, it was a 5 minute walk. The pool opens at 11:00 am starting Mid-July through August, and closes at 4:00 p.m. There are people lining up at 10:30 to get a spot underneath the tree to claim their spot and lay out their mats. You are expected to watch your own child, but there are 2 lifeguards to remind the children not to run and to make sure that all the children are safe. There are also mandatory 10 minute breaks from the pool. Feel free to bring your own lunch as you can eat if you need to! I didn't see any "changing rooms" so, you'll be changing your kid wherever you lay out your mat. The pool is a wading pool so it is a shallow pool meant for children from babies to elementary school. The pool is very clean as you can see them cleaning the pool before opening to the public. Anyway, my son swam for 2 hours and definitely tired him out enough for his afternoon nap.

Yelp
Shocked that no one has written a review on this lovely park. It's good size and right in downtown Shinjuku near lots of office buildings so you could come here for a little break from work if you worked here. In Tokyo with my son and he is here studying while I'm writing my review. They also have a little workout course near where I entered the park. And then a big open cemented area by the waterfall where you can run around (kids), ride bikes and skate boards. There is a guard so not sure if those activities are actually allowed since I don't see any people doing those things right now but it's 1pm and kids are in school. Anyway, this is a huge park with lots of benches and lawn areas to sit and relax. It's a good place to take a break if you've been running around trying to take in every sight here! Love these little discoveries. I don't think people really use Yelp much here because there are tons and tons of restaurants and places and most are gonna be good and is they aren't, there are so many other selections right next door and down the street, it doesn't even matter. Tried using Yelp to find places here but mostly it's walking, looking, smelling, asking and just figuring it out for yourself which is the way it probably should be when you're in another country! Part of the fun. We will keep trying to find places via Yelp but completely expect to just go with the flow!!

Yelp
It's a beautiful park in the middle of shinjuku's business district. This particular day there was a beef festival with beef from all over Japan. They often do events like this and the park has many things to offer. It's been completely renewed over the past few years and there's a nice waking part as well as a really fun playground for children. I highly recommend it on a nice day! Enjoy!

Yelp
The park is serene and relaxing! It is beautifully maintained and we especially lived the dog park.
