Ocean Palace Hotel

Checked in to the hotel to found empty beer bottle at the bed side which was clean out by the house keeping. Further inspect, found clumps of hair with dust on the floor near the toilet. Hair also found in the sink. We booked the hotel for 5 pax but was only given 3 towels. 1 of the towel has brown stain on it. I have email the hotel 4 days ago but they have yet to respond. Other than the cleanliness, the stay was fine. The location I actually very good as it is near most of the popular area. There is also a 7-11 at level 1. Parking is available, if you come back late you may have to park at B4-B5.

We checked in very late at night at about 11pm and we had to change room twice before we finally got our room and settled down. First room, the bin was not cleared and there were used men underwear in the bin. It was not a very good experience especially for two girls. Made us feel like the room wasnt cleaned. We then went down to have our room changed. The receptionist who is so nice (in service) gave us a new room and new key. We went up and the key wasnt working. At this point we were already very exhausted. We went down again and informed her. She then gave us another room which we walked passed and coincidentally notice that it was DND before. She assisted us all the way up to the new room and opened the door for us. It seems fine but it was late so we quickly accepted it and checked in. Once we are settled we realized that the main door could not be locked from the inside. We settled in anyway because we didnt want to go through all the trouble and spoil our vacation. But on a lighter note, the receptionist is very nice and promot is trying to fix our issue. This place can do better.

Nice and clean family room. Toilet is provided with bidet. Friendly recepionist. Ample basement parking. 7Eleven is in the building. Ensure the hotel name is Shin Shin Jeju Ocean. Near Olle wet market.

Location was good, at the heart of seogwipo. Hotel itself is old, but the room is spacious and surprisingly clean. Carpark is in basement and has enough lots. Hairdryer, soap, shampoo and slippers are provided for use, but not toothbrush.

Now called Shishin Jeju Ocean. Very large rooms. Bed were very firm. Walking distance to bus stops to get around the island. Walking distance to harbour and water falls.

Took Bus 600 from Jeju Airport to Saetgijeong Park, about 1.5hrs. After that, have to walk about 5-7 mins to the hotel. Easy to get cab via Uber from hotel. Washing machine is provided but need to bring or buy detergent from convenience store. No dryer, need to hang clothes on 5 hangers provided on the false ceiling to dry naturally. Rather quiet in December, need to walk nearer to market to find food. Room good size for family of 4, with separate cubicles for shower room and toilet.

Pretty well located hotel, a bit old, with plenty of parking. The view from the room was great, and the beds were comfortable.However, reception experience, the room cleanliness and state were really terrible.Tons of long hairs left around. Behind the bed was filthy (had to plug a charger, since no other available sockets were nearby).Most of the cabinets and marble were in a state of disrepair.There were some leftover children towels for some reason.Receptionist refused to look away from her phone \ computer, during check in and check out. Refused to answer any question I've had, so for some help I've managed to talk to the cleaners or strangers.The view was great, and the location was good, but I'd look for something else if you're considering this hotel.

Hotel was not really clean. Breakfast is limited and not that good. Check in was easy and a breeze though
