Loved the baked brie. Loved the pickerel tacos. Loved the fish and chips. Can't wait to go back! Beer was great. Definitely not the most affordable place in town, but food and the setting were worth it.

The food is awesome, we love the fish and chips. The hostess is excellent and very kind. My daughter loves the Poutine. Very authentic dark wood hard decor, warm and welcoming atmosphere 💕

After first attempting another place to no avail, we found ourselves at the Ship and Plough. Started with the longship lemonade to wet the whistle. The drink was so good it needed 2 more to go with the meal. Ordered the Fish and Chips and Wow, were we not disappointed. Was starting to tire of fish and chips being the same same. Having them here was an experience in itself. Highly recommend.

The environment and the service was good. The Baked brie was unique and delicious, but the S&P platter was $42. It’s a little overpriced.

Loooved this place, the menu is short and sweet and to the point, the staff was friendly, the food came fast! My dad ordered the fish and chips, I ordered the poutine; which consisted of real homemade style fries, & squeaky cheese!!!! I can’t wait to come back on a night to enjoy some live music and beverages!

Ship and Plough is one of our favourite stops while in Gimli! This past visit we really enjoyed the Cheesy Fried Pickles in Eggroll wrap and the Cajun flavoured Ribbies were awesome! They weren’t traditional ringlets but actually seasoned crispy back ribs! Super tender and well seasoned. Service was attentive and food was fast and delicious! We’ll be back!!

Great selection of Manitoba beers. The Pils from Winnipeg Brew Werks and the Shipwreck ale from Torque brewery were very good. Small menu but still a nice variety of choices from pickerel to ribs to burgers and smoked pork chops. Also some nice appetizers.

We had lunch in Gimli at this restaurant yesterday. First time there, and was very disappointed. As I noted many people so you have to wait a long time for your food. If they can’t get their stuff together, they will not keep getting clientele to come back. The waitress was good, but she also kept apologizing about the time we were waiting over an hour. Pickerel tacos were over done and had some weird teriyaki sauce on them that made them gross. And one friend had the club sandwich and she said it was quite good. If your kitchen can’t accommodate the number of tables and give a good timely service with your food, you should rethink or modify your menu to accommodate faster service. Very disappointing.!!!
