You can not forget that it's a boat, and you can hear everything outside of your room . When I arrived I thought that I would not be able to slip for the noise. But from 12 am on, everything is in silence and you will be able to sleep. We had a problem with a guy a bit drank in the terrace but we asked for silence and he finally when to slip. For the rest , rooms are simple but ok. Bed comfy and toilet pretty clean . Attention exceptional for the lady , she advise us for visiting places and where to eat .

Forget about sleeping a little longer, if someone speaks in the aisle it is like they are speaking in your room. Check-in can take time as it is 4pm and people waiting in the reception will make a small group eventually. Staff is friendly

We stayed one night here. We were lucky to get a river side room and I loved looking out over the water. The space was fine for our family of 4. The staff were approachable and extremely helpful. The location is an interesting part of town to explore with good transport links to the city centre.

I decided to write this review as the insight may help others.||When I booked the room, a picture of a room with wooden floors/parkett was shown and cute little beds, however, the truth was far from it. The room I received had an old carpet, unattraktiv bed, and there was much room for improvement in the room. It looked done without care and put together with old furniture. There also seems to be no insulation to the next rooms. I felt lucky to have had quiet neighbours.||The toilet and the showers need serious renovation. Everything is old and run down. Very far from a 5 star experience as advertised.||One should also know that there is a party bar on the other side of the river, opposite the ship. The windows of the room/s don't keep the sound out, so.. if you are not the kind to listen to a blast until 12 at night on a Saturday, then this is not the place to stay. In general, it is a noisy environment where the ship is located as people also gather on the grass around it.||Otherwise, great location, right behind the wall, with the East Side Mall in close proximity, good transport, Holzmarkt is not far either, and the staff is very nice.

The shipotel was a pretty good experience, however it’s important to be aware of the trade offs of being on a boat. The rooms are quite tight, and the bathrooms are not ideal. However, there are some great common spaces. The location was okay, next to a stop of a key bus line.

I really enjoyed staying here!! Amazing location, an S-Bahn & 2 U-Bahn stations really close by, along with loads of shops and places to eat & drink. Lush views down the river, too. There was a great deck overlooking the water & Oberbaumbrüke, which was ideal for me because, unfortunately, I had a mega Fibro flare-up, so I couldn't do as much as I'd hoped to. But it still felt like we were "out"; having drinks and food on the river for the day. We had a room/cabin with a shared bathroom. It was comfy, and there were plenty of showers available. We'd usually have a private bathroom, but because the euros were starting, everywhere was unaffordable!

On the pictures, there was view to the river. But my view was to the stage to drunken loud men. Cabin smelled heavily like old oil. Toilet and bathroom were not on the same floor as my room was. Damaged shower. Not sure whether carpet is sanitarily clean.

Stayed at the shipotel for 3 nights with friends for our trip to Berlin.|What a great experience.|Perfect location for everything. Staff were lovely and helpful.|Was very clean.|Had great view of the river from our room.|Did get a bit hot at night in room but would deffo stay again
