This lovely hotel boat is located next to the East Side Gallery on the Spree. It boasts beautiful views of the Oberbaumbrücke bridge over the river. However, it is not recommended for tall people as the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are small given that the boat is old and converted. Sadly, 35 years ago, the DDR police used to shoot anyone trying to escape East Berlin by swimming in this very spot.

Perfekt stay for central Berlin and vibrant Berlin Kreuzberg,. Cosy and warm rooms in this clean and very special ship , therefore also highly recommended during winter and autumn time!

We have got an free upgrade to honeymoon suite, which was the best what could happen to us in Berlin. So grateful. Wonderful room, balcony and staff service. Fully recommend. <3 Art

Booked this for a weekend with friends (and Alex) and it suited us perfectly. Great location, great water pressure in the shower, great vibes.

Was here on a trip whit a big group. The rooms we had were 3 person rooms. The rooms were clean and good beds. But my room had a special smell. The toilets were clean, the showers also. But it was quite scary as a woman since there was other male guest that were creepy. Quite scary to shower when the woman shower did not have a lock. Anyone could just enter. It was also quite loud, could hear everything outside my room when someone was walking/talking in the hallway.

The Ship-hotel is very nice, the staff is incredibly nice and ready to help. I swear the only bad thing is the fact that you can hear the people talking outside your room while crossing the aisle... as if they are in your room. For me it wasn't much of a problem, I did have a deep sleep, but sometimes was annoying... just because you hear them as if they are talking in your room. But at the end of the day is ok. This place is a ship, the space is limited and all the facilities are at their best. Cleanliness also is good, and for the price you pay to stay here is MORE than worth! I would come back, the whole concept is very good and fascinated me a lot :D great job guys!

You can not forget that it's a boat, and you can hear everything outside of your room . When I arrived I thought that I would not be able to slip for the noise. But from 12 am on, everything is in silence and you will be able to sleep. We had a problem with a guy a bit drank in the terrace but we asked for silence and he finally when to slip. For the rest , rooms are simple but ok. Bed comfy and toilet pretty clean . Attention exceptional for the lady , she advise us for visiting places and where to eat .

I decided to write this review as the insight may help others.||When I booked the room, a picture of a room with wooden floors/parkett was shown and cute little beds, however, the truth was far from it. The room I received had an old carpet, unattraktiv bed, and there was much room for improvement in the room. It looked done without care and put together with old furniture. There also seems to be no insulation to the next rooms. I felt lucky to have had quiet neighbours.||The toilet and the showers need serious renovation. Everything is old and run down. Very far from a 5 star experience as advertised.||One should also know that there is a party bar on the other side of the river, opposite the ship. The windows of the room/s don't keep the sound out, so.. if you are not the kind to listen to a blast until 12 at night on a Saturday, then this is not the place to stay. In general, it is a noisy environment where the ship is located as people also gather on the grass around it.||Otherwise, great location, right behind the wall, with the East Side Mall in close proximity, good transport, Holzmarkt is not far either, and the staff is very nice.
