A feast for the eyes. A mountain of Navajo rugs. They cover the walls and are piled up in well folded piles. Well curated collections of silver, turquoise and Pueblo pottery. The staff knows their stuff.

Google
What an amazing gallery of Navajo rugs, jewelry and accessories. The depth of their inventory, the displays and most of all the superior quality make this a "must" stop for anyone interested in seeing the best examples of fine vintage Navajo weavings, silver work and jewelry.

Google
One of the finest galleries in the Santa Fe plaza! Turquoise jewelry, belt buckles, gorgeous blankets and linen, and woven baskets. Follow them on instagram to see what new things they’re curating, and definitely stop by! Usually closes around 5pm, but they update their hours on their instagram.

They are always extremely helpful. I believe they’re also quite educated in the knowledge that they know about American Indian jewelry. And American Indian workmanship and craftsmanship. Paul has been wonderful and giving me a lot of information about what I own and have.

Such a nice experience dealing with these fine folks. I had multiple unique Native American art pieces that they helped me appraise or purchase. Negotiations were very fair and straightforward. Thanks!

Have classic Southwestern jewlery that is reasonably priced. Purchased once in a lifetime silver classic bracelet. ❤️ it.

Paul was amazing help regarding the history and stories of the rugs. We ended up purchasing two, knowing enough to do more research. This is a great store. They're all very patient and knowledgeable

Yelp
Excellent. My daughter found the Navajo pearls she wanted. Wonderful service. My granddaughter admires the selection of concho belts.

Yelp
Undeniably awkward and bad experience. I'm a new visitor to Santa Fe by way of NYC/LA. I've traveled & lived all over the world, am a professional creative and make a great living ... BUT ~I'm not flashy... from the moment the blonde older woman (owner?) saw me walk in she made it clear we were not welcome and seemed suspicious about our very presence. Mind you that although we were casual we were not sloppy. I love fashion, art and the finer things .. as well as a good dive bar and Levi's but I felt VERY unwelcome for no good reason. Bad day perhaps? I was friendly to the shop keeper but she seemed pretty salty and sus. What I have to say is I came in intending to spend real money and enjoy myself but I was so put off by this small town basic B that I won't be back. Good luck with this unremarkable business. Glad I dragged myself over from a wonderful gallery experience for your excessively average spot. There are much better places to spend your time and money. This is a tourist trap. . .

Yelp
Shiprock is simply an amazing gallery of authentic and vintage Native American art. The art is so beautifully displayed that the gallery reminds me of a well curated museum. There is an amazing variety of rugs, jewelry, and pottery here. It is a pleasure to wander around Shiprock to admire the craftsmanship that went into creating these treasures. The staff is very knowledge about the art and the methods used to create them. You can tell upon entering that the owners and staff have a great respect and relationship with the art. It's a good place to go, to gauge the level of artistry that went into these beautiful pieces!

Yelp
I personally know the owner and his wife and they are incredible humans. They love what they do and know the stories behind each of their items. This place has so much history and right when you walk in you can feel the beauty. I love this shop and all the people in it! Definitely a must see when visiting Sante Fe NM.

Yelp
The artwork, which is nearly all contemporary or late modern Native American and heavy on jewelry, textiles, and baskets, is perfectly curated with a great selection of diverse artists from various traditions. There is also a good selection of paintings and other . . . well, what Westerners would call "fine art" . . . on display, also mainly Native and from the region. The jewelry however is to me the star attraction: true fine art jewelry, not stuff for tourists, and very diverse in style. They also have Phillip Vigil's paintings and drawings: Vigil is quickly becoming one of my favorite young artists and you should check out his stuff (which is online at Shiprock's website) to see why. Shiprock also is a stockist for the Japanese street couture brand Visvim, which makes sense because they make some exceptional backpacks and clothing--if you think that sounds odd, chect out Visvim: their hand-crafted goods are up there with anything any well-known fashion house has ever done, or better.

Yelp
Easily one of the finest galleries of vintage Navajo rugs and jewelry mixed with Mid Century Modern furniture and contemporary artwork.

Yelp
Downtown Santa Fe is full of art galleries and those galleries are pretty much full of crap. I'm Yelping Shiprock because it's the exception. We didn't buy anything here, but not for lack of fantastic stuff. The room of rugs is particularly impressive, but there's a lot of great stuff throughout. If you're browsing in downtown Santa Fe, browse here.

Yelp
Ship Rock SF is the best gallery in town. Awesome , selection , staff and atmosphere.

Yelp
Been in a few times and get an occasional marketing email. Take visitors there when shopping. All that is over. I asked to be called when my size shoe arrived in August and never heard a word. Zero follow up. Like a car dealer-- unless you are are actively buying, the service is non- existent. Makes me wonder what would happen if I bought a $20k rug or vintage pot?? Based on my experience, avoid the grief

Yelp
Shiprock used to be the Ray Dewey Gallery, which ruled the art scene in the 1980's. Well times have changed, but the establishment has kept all the class of the former business while adding some fresh new contemporary talent at the same time. 5 rooms of exxcellent artwork ranging from rug weavings, sketches, paintings, and a ton of jewelery. I'm going to have to check this place out more often.

Yelp
Trustworthy helpful friendly staff and magnificent collections available. I collect jewelry but have given gifts of pottery and rugs. Always a pleasure. (I'm new to yelp but more reviews to come.)

Yelp
A complete surprise. I've seen them on Instagram and liked them but when I saw they were on the Plaza assumed them to be tourist grade. I was wrong. As fine as ANY in Santa Fe and twice as convenient. You must stop in.

Yelp
Before you hit any other Indian art galeries in Santa Fe, make sure you stop by Shiprock Santa Fe. I have personally purchased several incredible pieces from them during the past three years and have been delighted with every one of my experiences. The staff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly. Jed (the owner) and Jamie (the gallery director) are very, very approachable and they make everyone who walks through the door feel important. The gallery has an epic selection of historic textiles & jewelery, award-winning modern Native American artists, and vintage home furnishings. If nothing else, make sure you stop by and get on their mailing list. As an experienced collector, I don't trust many galleries or dealers...that said, Shiprock Santa Fe has never disappointed me. I can't recommend them enough. (PS - if you have trouble navigating the stairs from the street level, call ahead and someone will send the elevator down for you.)
