Shipwreck Beach Bar

We took a taxi to this place from our hotel (only about 10 minutes) and it was SO worth it. We went for sunset, it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, I had jerk chicken tacos and my wife had vegetarian tacos. Also, you can’t beat the views. Prices are reasonable, and they take credit cards. Highly recommend!

Yes, there are monkeys & mongoose behind the restaurant that come down from the trees. Great way to spent a bit of time. We were here a couple of times during our trip. Lunch was typical light fare, they cater to the liquid crowd. I do recommend, it's a fun place!

Grat beach bar. Very rustic but great Island vibes. Cute monkeys that the kids can take pictures of. Easy beach access however there were a lot of bees around our table trying to get into our food and soft drinks which was a bit distracting.

What a vibe. This has to be one of the best beach bars I’ve ever been to. Right on the waters edge with beach chairs if you can make it out of the bar. Totally open to the air. Wild monkeys running through the bar. (The owner looks after them and makes sure they have the right food). I had the jerk chicken with Caribe beer and rum punch. It was tough to leave. It’s a must stop. Remember to sign your name before you leave.

Great place to chill and enjoy the island vibes! Food is delicious and they give large portions. The bbq ribs are tender and not fatty. So good!! Enjoy the Pirate Punch as you take in the beautiful scenery. A no frills place. Come as you are and be accepted by all.

First visit here, though I had walked by on a previous trip. Fantastic spot on South Friars Bay Beach with a great, chill atmosphere. It's also a much smaller place than the club on the other end which I imagine can get quite busy on cruise days. Loungers and shade have been upgraded on part of the beach for extra confort as compared to the last time when I walked by. This is a big plus. Easier to stay covered while the sun moves during the day. For lunch we ordered the conch fritters with fries as well as the jerk pork meal. Both were great! Really glad we started our trip here!

What a cool spot to stumble upon!!! Due to a closed restaurant we came here and boy were we glad in the end. A super cool spot with great views and even better food! Monkeys and mongoose come down from the mountain for a perfect photo op.

Stopped in st. Kitts on our cruise, a friend recommended shipwreck beach bar best choice we made! Nice quite beach great food and drinks friendly staff! To top it off you get to see monkeys will definitely be back!
